Called them multiple times this morning (March 14, 2016) no answer and no answering service. Finally had to go with a competitor.
I would expect more from a AAA contracted towing service.

Had to give these guys 5 stars, here’s why. Woke up to go to work and my car wouldn’t start. I thought it was the battery and I needed a jump so I called and they got a tow guy (I forgot his name) over in literally 20 min! I couldn’t be happier until he told me my battery’s fine! Oh no! He said it was the starter and he hit the starter a couple times and luckily it started up! He gave me some advice and some places to take my car too. Good thing for me is I have warranty! This guy really helped and he did it so fast I wasn’t even late for work. Thank you!

Aaron is the best tow truck driver I have ever met. Friendly, cool and has skills when it comes to driving.

Had a great experience with Ryan from Wiler’s, an AAA towing contractor. Bimmer went dead as a doornail electrically… at a stoplight on Sonoma Highway in American Canyon at 10 PM New Year’s Eve 2016 coming home from a nice dinner in Yountville. Ryan brought a flatbed, took us and the Bimmer home to Crockett, into our very difficult cul-​de-​sac location, and delivered car into our driveway perfectly. Ryan is a super nice guy, very knowledgable, and kind, and saved our bacon on New Year’s Eve! If the world could be full of Ryans, world peace is a possibility! Many thanks to Ryan and Wiler’s!

I have always used Wilers tow and found they will go out of their way to help and the negative people here want instant service, in the tow bis you cant make everyone happy

This towing company came when I called AAA for a tow. They worked quickly and efficiently and the driver Aaron was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend them!

Had a tire blow out on I-​680 NB halfway between Benicia and Susiun at 10pm. Middle of the marshlands. Called AAA and Wilers Tow called me back promptly to get my exact location. Aaron said that it sounded like I was just inside his area vs Fairfield and that he was on his way. Twenty minutes later he was there, assessed the condition of my spare, got the tire changed and had me on my way. I felt that his service was professional, efficient and he was polite to me. Advised me on the durability of the spare as to speed and distance that it would support.
I was very pleased with the service provided to me by Aaron.

This guy Aron has some serious skills. Towed my 98 Honda CBR 600 Motorcycle WHITHOUT a flat bed! Kept it nice and secure all the way from Vallejo to pleasant hill.

I needed to schedule a tow to bring my car to the repair shop the following morning. Wiler’s tow was one of the first that popped up on Google and my mom said she’d used them years ago and they were good so I thought why not.
I called and spoke to a very relaxed, pleasant enough man named Frank who told me to just give him a call an hour before I needed the tow and he would come out and pick up the car. Sounded easy enough. Per Frank’s instruction I called at 7am, one hour prior to the time I needed the tow. He sound like he was still asleep. He tells me give him a few minutes to get in the office and call him back.
So I gave an hour and 20 minutes before I called back, already late for my car repair appointment when I call back and speak with an abrupt sounding woman who had an annoying habit of cutting me off mid sentence. Her main concern was whether I would be paying cash or by insurance. As soon as I told her my insurance would cover the bill her whole attitude took a nasty turn! She rudely stated that she never «Got any paperwork from my insurance company» and until she gets it she can’t help me. I calmly explained I spoke with Frank twice and he said just to call in. This woman proceeded to give me every excuse why she COULDNT help me. I suspect they prefer CASH customers over insurance customers — just a hunch judging by how I was treated. After 10 minutes of useless conversation I told her thank you for her time and I could go elsewhere.
I called George’s Towing and within an hour got the job done, no hassle whatsoever. Anyone stuck and in need of a tow please save yourself some frustration and go to George’s Towing instead!

Contracted by AAA. I called AAA got wilers tow at 7:06 pm they did get to my house within an hour like stated however they are not even a mile from my house. When he got there he said he had to put my car in the yard and tow the next day IF that was ok with me. That was not. I called AAA to make sure they didn’t and it was in the yard. They are lazy ass shit acted like he could hook my car up from the back and needed me to turn it around when I did not want to start it and add more damage to it my car was sputtering. Mind you my father is a master technician where I spent my entire childhood in his shop and went on countless tows with him in his personal tow truck. I know how to hook a car u jack ass. And would have had my dad do it if he wasn’t in Sacramento (where my car was going to) This company basically wants to «secure» the tow and keep it in their yard so they can get paid. Don’t be fooled with them because they are contracted with triple A. What a horrible call on AAA part. They should be taken off and would NEVER use again. And IF I ever need a call I will specifically tell them NOT to have wilers tow show up. Bunch of crooks! And PS. Your company will be getting a phone call from me.

My son (a 16 year old minor) had a major accident on Monday in Benicia. The Benicia PD unfortunately called Wiler’s Tow to move the car out of the intersection. We only have liability so I was concerned with the cost and hassle of getting the car out of the tow yard. I tried to speak to the tow driver and ask him to just tow the car out of the way or to my house instead of the tow yard but he hung up on me saying that he would only do what the officer told him. So I spoke to the officer and he said that would be fine, but the tow company would charge me which was fine. I was on my way to the scene from work in Napa so my 16 year old son was alone without in adult. When I finally arrived, I found my son in tears, the accident had been really bad, he had cuts and blood all over his face and glass all over him. As if that wasn’t enough, the stander-by’s told me that the tow truck driver had demanded my son pick up the debris from the accident because he was not going to do because he was not getting paid for it. For which my son had done, as he felt intimidated and threatened by the driver and of course had never been in type of situation like that. At that point the tow truck driver had moved the car close by as the officer requested and was gone. I could not believe that happened, how can there be adults that conduct business this was and treat kids this way. I would have paid the tow, I was in no way expecting it to be moved free but to do this to a kid at such a traumatic moment is unbelievable. Anyways, I would never use this company. Ultimately I called another who charged me $ 65.00 to move it from Benicia to Vallejo which I would have paid to Wiler’s had they taken a moment to talk to me,

Total jerks. Look for any reason to not tow your car and charge you more money. As if being broken down isn’t bad enough I need AAA to send out a tow company to try to make me pay outside of what I have already paid AAA.

More instances of this company refusing to help stranded motorist. They are privately owned. However if it is about profit, convenience, or race. At least screen stranded motorist before you have them wait to be told I am not going to help you. Refused me because AAA would only pay them$ 20 to tow my vehicle.

If I can give negative stars I would. Horrible, horrible HORRIBLE service. The car was paid and released already, just waiting for the tow. The tow lot said they would move the car out front when Wilers gets here. (don’t want the extra traffic in their small parking lot) Tow came 2 hours after our service call, then when he gets here says «since the cars not RIGHT in front of the tow yard I can’t help you». Seriously? I tried to ask him to wait like 5 mins for them to get the car and he goes «they already cleared your call off my list, I cant help you anymore». He was literally in front of me for like 5 minutes. WOW. I waited 2 hours and you cant even wait a few extra minutes. The office manager, «Leslie» (who was extremely rude btw) said that the driver says he felt threatened and that Wilers will be refusing our service and that we should go commercial. Wtf, how does AAA work with a company like this. I might just have to change insurance if this is the only company AAA works with in my city. Rediculous.

Could have ended in heat stroke. I would give less than 1 star if possible. Tire vandalized in Vallejo less than 1 mile from their tow business. Need only a tow to a tire shop close by as the spare is missing. Call AAA, (Platinum card over 35 year customer) They tell me 90 minutes in 105 – 115 degree heat. After 1.25 hours, Wiler calls and says «We’re swamped! Must be the heat!» WAIT ANOTHER 90 MINUTES PLEASE!“
Bottom line, the fact that ALL i wanted was a short 1.5 mile tow to a tire shop must have never got to the driver, whom I am sure thought since the call was for a «flat tire» that he would have to change the tire. So, staff’s mindset is «Just keep pushing the commitment time out until the AAA member does it himself!» Would have, IF I’D HAD A SPARE! In my 60’s so the heat can be deadly
since in was over 105 degrees. Waited in direct sun from 0345pm until 5pm. When they said 90 minutes more? Forget them. Thermometer at the corner of Tuolumne and Tennessee reads 116 degrees after I finally drove the vehicle on the rim to the tire shop. Anything would’ve gone haywire during the drive on a flat and I’d have definitely considered legal action against this company and it’s principals.
In my case, this is a proven poorly run business. AAA should pull their affiliation with Wiler’s Towing immediately. Can you say they just may be extremely lazy and don’t give a damn about their contract with AAA and their mutual tow customers safety? I can… They do pick and choose. Sad that AAA has any ties, much less a contract with them.

This tow truck driver came to my house after 1 hour and 45 minutes. He then proceeded to tell me that he could not tow my car because of traffic from the bay to bay runners. This was about 3:45 pm on a sunday. The race was in the morning and I just drove from that area and there was no traffic. He drove all the way to my house just to tell me that he couldn’t tow my car? There are cell phones and landlines for this reason.
Why does triple AAA still send these guys out if they have refused service before? I waited for a long time initially just for them to show up and they weren’t even that far away to begin with.
I am actually glad they didn’t tow my car because they weren’t even worthy to do so anyway. I then called a much better towing company named Tow Bully! They were very professional and polite with no excuses about the towing across the bay. I even met him at the shop I towed it to. Now that was a much better experience than these lazy good for nothings at wilers tow. Never let these guys show up to take care of a car you own, because they won’t help you.

It’s amazing that a company picks and chooses who they will serve then hide behind policy when they don’t like the ethnicity of the customer.
Longtime AAA member, in a situation to where my car needed to be towed home from SHARP automotive. No big deal right?! Yes, apparently it was. The tow truck driver took one look at me and my Hispanic husband of 20 years and declined to tow my vehicle. Then said I didn’t look trustworthy. Really?! This coming from the same fat tow truck driver that initially towed my BMW but couldn’t get his behemoth body in. I trusted him not to flatten the tires.
Two hours awaiting a tow!

After calling AAA after a crash on the Napa Bridge on Hwy. 37, I was relived to get any help, but the tow truck guy was super professional yet easy going. He dealt expertly with the CHP and was a really kind to me personally. He was prompt and arrived as promised. I couldn’t ask for better service!

Called AAA to move my car from Fairfield to Vallejo. The fat guy came and told me AAA wont cover it because I have temporary op tags. He told me he could do it for $ 75 cash and told him never mind.
I called AAA the next day to see what happened and they stated the fat guy should have towed it because I was covered for 250 miles and had a temp op from DMV.
I called to move my car again later that night and was upset that they sent the same company. However, the guy they sent this time loaded up the car and was on the way to Vallejo within 5 minutes.
The first guy tried to con me out of $ 75! Be careful!

On the drive back from Tahoe to SF, the clutch in our little GTI made it clear that no, it did not want to go up that hill. We pulled off to a rest area and called AAA (not members), who referred us us Wiler’s. They listened to our plight and dispatched a truck, which showed up within 40 minutes. Total price back to the city, including the bridge toll of $ 15, was $ 235 — not cheap, but we were fearing way worse. And they let us ride along in the cab of the tow truck.
