Meet the Manager
Shannon B.
Manager
Marisa taught Sunday School and was a nanny during high school, which lead to her interest in early childhood education. While pursuing her degree in Child Development she worked with toddlers and then with school aged children in an after school program. She continued the field by working with infants, toddlers and young children up to the age of three. In 2004, she became a mom. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from San Diego State University in 2005, and acquired a job as a lead teacher, working with infants and toddlers. In 2006, she became a stay at home mom and continued to be a stay at home after having twins. After four years as a stay at home mom she returned to the childcare world in 2010 as a toddler teacher with KinderCare and also continued her education in child development.
