Where the hell do I begin with this «business». It’s a complete 100% SCAM. Please do NOT under any circumstance EVER come to this place. I originally found her ad on Craigslist when she was offering chivari chairs for $ 4. I knew something was shady when the ad said $ 4 per chair but she tried to quote me something higher when I contacted her. She ultimately agreed to give me gold chivari chairs for $ 4 a piece. Their names are Jackie Chavez and Elaine Estrada Crisosotomo.
We agreed to meet but I confirmed with her before meeting that she had 200 chairs for the $ 4 price. She said yes. I met this chinese looking lady and her chinese looking employee at a starbucks. She tells me she only has 140 chairs even though I confirmed with her that I needed 200 4 days before. She said she can see if her brother has an additional 60. She walked outside and said her brother can lend her 60 more chairs so I can have 200. We filled out a contract. I paid her the deposit [half the total] and the rest would be paid on delivery.
So our wedding day rolls around and she was suppose to drop the chairs off at 9am. Well at 9:17am I contact her and she texts saying her driver is late and she will be no later than 1pm. So 1pm comes, 2pm, 3pm, and no sign of her or her chairs anywhere. I am panicking because my entire hall is ready to go except there are no chairs. I call her endlessly. I called 17 times, 20 text messages, and left voicemails. She NEVER responds at all. I can see that she is reading my text messages. After about the 15^th phone call she has the balls to TURN HER PHONE OFF. WTF. I’m like dude if you’re not coming at least tell me so I can make other arrangements. She never calls or texts me back.
In a panic I have to get the only chairs that I could find. Butt ugly RED banquet chairs. My color theme was ivory and gold. I wanted to cry every time I looked in the hall. All of my hard work and planning was ruined by this unprofessional, money hungry, lying scammer. I can’t believe she did that to me. We had a contact with specific dates and times of delivery. She certainly cashed my check. I am in the process of suing this woman so she can never do this again to anyone else.
