We are a religious-​non profit that operates a community outreach and training center called «The Gathering» in Vallejo, as well as a Christian Bible Bookstore, called Fishers of Men. At The Gathering, we offer free one-​on-​one prayer ministry, free Bible classes, and a silent prayer and worship room («soaking room») that is open during business and ministry hours. In addition, we will be hosting community-​wide worship events in Vallejo to promote unity in the Body across denominational lines. Our aim is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, help equip the Saints and promote unity in the Body, and as a result, have a positive impact on the community at large.

History

Established in 2014.

Led by God to open this place of ministry and much-​needed Bible bookstore to serve the 100 plus churches in Vallejo as well, as the surrounding areas, which have all lost direct access to a local Christian bookstore.

Business Owner

Suzan Holland was raised on the mission field in Central America and received the call to full-​time ministry while yet in high school. After many seasons of growth and preparation, Suzan was called away from a 22-​yr teaching career in 2012 to take the next steps toward fulfilling that call on her life, and has now ventured out to open up «The Gathering» in Vallejo. She continues to walk by faith into the unfolding plan that God is laying out before her, and she believes that what He is about to do will have a huge impact on Vallejo and the surrounding communities.
