I took my son to Henry Mayo Hospital to have the placement of his central venous catheter checked. It was mis-​billed under the wrong diagnostic code (miscellaneous) by Tower Imaging, and now both my primary and secondary insurance will not pay the small bill. I have called at least 3 times, once with my Blue Cross Customer Service agent on the phone with me, explaining that Tower Imaging needed to re-​bill with the correct diagnostic code. Of course, they have not done so. I have wasted HOURS speaking with their billing company, to no avail. Today, I received a final notice in the mail. Tomorrow, I plan to spend hours on the phone, time that I do not have, trying to get this billed, only with the correct diagnostic code this time. If they do not do so, I will be calling a local TV station for assistance. Put a fork in me; I am done. Billing is horrendous; not worth the trouble to go there. Next time, I’ll drive right on by.

Make sure to review your «claims details» under your health plan, you can access it online if you have an account and it will notify you what your co-​payment actually is after they have submitted their claim. If not call your health plan.
I received a bill requesting an additional $ 100 after I had already paid $ 100 during the visit. After reviewing my benefits and their claim, I actually only owed $ 72.16. I work in the medical field in utilization review so knew something was wrong with this bill. Just alerting you so you make sure you review the bill with your health plan before making the payment. God knows how many other people they have taken advantage of.

Why do all medical offices have a painfully awkward, inefficient, and unprofessional front office? I just… AHH. It makes me so mad. The second you go through the doors you’re fine. Incredible staff, friendly, helpful, professional, and obviously skilled. But Lordy someone come rescue me from that waiting room so I don’t have to listen to the staff’s inappropriate personal conversation, unprofessional phone dialogue (the kind that make you feel bad for the person on the receiving end of that attitude), and simultaneously feel as though I’m an inconvenience. It’s not even close to the whole staff out front, but I’ve been here a few times and have just been so MEHHHHHH over the whole front office experience. Just brave it, the radiology team behind the doors is worth it.

I only have one semi negative comment. The wait time for a chest x-​ray was a bit to long for my taste. Other than that, I love the facility and it’s cleanliness. The staff is courteous and respectful. I appreciate the cleanliness very very much

I have been going here for years. I have great respect for all of the staff especially Josephine Reiss. She is the most gentle and kind medical professional I have ever worked with. I actually fell asleep during an MRI if you can believe it.

I recently had a test done here. The place is nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. The results of my test got to my doctor pretty quickly.

I would give zero stars if It was allowed. I had to take my 13 year old daughter in for an X-​ray and had my two other children with me who are only 6 and 10. I was told if I wanted to go in with my 13 year old daughter I would have to leave my two other minor children alone in the waiting room. I was told I must choose one or the other. So my only choice was to let my minor 13 year old daughter go in with an unknown person to undress completely for a back X-​ray. I was appalled that they would not allow us to go in and wait somewhere closer to where she was, especially when she would be having to undress. I do not know these people and who else is back there. Let alone send my daughter in with no familiar support. Please note I did not expect to go anywhere near the actual X-​ray equipment etc… And my other two other girls are very well behaved children. So really no excuse for not making a minor child and her mom feel more comfortable in a situation unknown to my daughter due to the tech just wanting to be an uncaring control freak.

For the second year in a row I have had trouble with tower’s billing department. Even though I was preapproved at 100 percent for my mammogram through Tower and Sheila Veloz Breast center, I am again getting the run around because billing is NOT correct. They even sent me to collections last year even AFTER my issue was resolved. I was assured this year there would be NO problem but just received an incorrect bill from them in the mail. I really do like Sheila Veloz and staff but until they switch who does their billing, that was my last X-​ray there.

My 6 year old son and I went to tower imaging for him to have an X-​ray of his knee. This was his first time ever having an X-​ray, he was a little nervous about the whole thing. We get into the room and my son wanted me to take a picture of him on the table, the technician says «I don’t want to be in the picture» don’t worry I wasn’t taking a picture of you, relax. After the X-​ray was done my son asked if he could see it and the technician said no, I couldn’t believe it. He was crying and I asked can he please just see his X-​ray for one second and she said no again, her excuse was «she’s too busy» really lady??? I will never refer anyone to this place and will never go there again. Very very rude technician, wish I could remember her name.

I have been coming here for over 10 years due to doctor referrals and I keep hoping that it has changed. Unfortunately it hasn’t I have been here twice this month and the staff make you feel that you are bothering them with your tests. The equipment is great but the people are not.

The front desk is run by ambivalent, apathetic doppelgangers who could care less about you and are impatiently waiting for their shift to end. I cannot fathom how someone can be so cold and uncaring yet work in a medical facility.
I was impressed with the technology and how I was seen in about 20 minutes, but I have nothing but derision for the way they answer the phone and treat patients. The worst customer service skills I’ve seen.
Come here if you have no other choice.

First of all, no one WANTS to have to have an MRI. That being said, if you do, this is the place to have it.
I cannot express how happy I am that Kaiser has finally contracted with a place that has an open MRI machine and is near my home.
I arrived this morning for my appointment. Yes on a Saturday. Tre Convenient! No missed work. Filled out the necessary paperwork and went in. I am EXTREMELY claustrophobic and my anxiety level was high since I had not taken any xenax prior to this appointment.
The staff kindly allowed my sister to come in with me and even gave me headphones to wear so I could listen to music during the procedure.
Everyone was very very nice and professional. I had my choice of Pandora stations (80’s baby!)
Here’s where things went from good to great.
My sister was at the open end of the machine talking to me, though I couldn’t hear much but I could see here through the mirror on the machine. My sis kept me smiling as she rocked out and danced to the 80’s tunes all through my procedure. But then I noticed a white coat and another hand holding mine. It was one of the other technicians who came in and was dancing alongside my sister!
How cool is that!!! I got through my MRI with a smile on my face and we will see what the report shows. But I have never had such a good time finding at a medical appointment.
If you have a choice of imaging facilities, you can’t go wrong here. Kudos Tower Imaging. Five Stars all the way!!!
