Tony Avakian, DPM

Just had my first visit with Dr. Avakian. I am amazed in such a good way. I have been suffering with foot pain for years and you might have seen my review of another podiatrist who kept telling me to come back in two weeks and yet never did anything. Dr Avakian immediately gave me cortisone injections, quite painlessly I might add. With that he gave me hope that I might be able to walk without searing pain after a few weeks. I was in tears. I actually have purchased an electric scooter because my feet hurt so badly and to think I might not need it.
I’ll keep you posted here as to how it works out. So far I really like this doctor.
Oh! And his staff seems fabulous also!
Just a thought: why can’t all Dr’s and their staff treat you like this. Too often it seems as though we’re bothering them. Just sayin’.

I have been a patient here for a few years now. I am diabetic, and have neuromas as well as ankle issues. My preventative care as well as treatment as issues arise has been excellent. My whole family comes here and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Avakian and his staff to you and yours.

I have received the best care and so have my teen athletes. I was in such pain and now I can walk and exercise without pain!

Dr. Avakian is the best including his amazing staff! I had suffered from bunion pain for several years before finally finding Dr. Avakian. I have waited for this surgery for a very long time and I’m completely thrilled with the way my feet are healing. I have friends who had their bunions removed but never knew that there were more than one type of procedure you could have done. Dr. Avakian makes you feel at ease about the entire process. I was very nervous to have this surgery but Dr. Avakian and his amazing staff made my experience an amazing one! And not to mention his wonderful therapist Robyn who takes her time with you to help along the healing process. Thank you all for giving me back the energy I thought I lost!

My wife has been going to Dr Avakian for about four years and is absolutely happy with everything about his operation. She loves Janine, the receptionist, who really goes out of her way to help in any way needed. As for Dr Avakian, he is very professional, and has really helped my wife with her podiatry issues. The doctor was great. Was attentive to my issues and diagnosed my issue pretty quickly. Office was clean and organized. Front office staff was friendly and helpful.
Saw Jay’s comment about pricing. I have been to another podiatrist and the prices for service were very similar. That’s just the cost of seeing a specialist and getting the necessary testing to identify the issue.
I have recommended Dr Avakian to a couple friends. Did not realize he was on Unilocal until today when I googed to find his number to give to another friend.
If you have foot pain, go see him. I waited months before seeing a dr. and my only regret is not resolving the issue sooner!
PS — Noticed something really nice. An elderly lady with a cane was leaving her appt. The front office staffer walked her to her car. I am not sure I have ever seen someone take the time to do that. That’s the kind of place this is.

Great doctor, totally fix solved my issues. Also helped me with finding the perfect running shoes and now he carries shoes!
