The Ivy Day Spa

I am writing this review for my husband who had a custom massage today for Father’s Day. He loved it!

This place is wonderful. I came here for the afternoon while my kids were at Magic Mountain. So relaxing and luxurious. Had the best massage I’ve ever had. I wish I had booked a longer one.

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday and was really happy with the service and the amenities. We had facials and massages and all of my friends were very satisfied. We are going to book in 6 weeks again !!

Absolutely love this place! I’ve only been a few times but it’s amazing.
The first time It was a gift for a bday and I got a message. I loved it.
My best friend and I wanted to have a day at the spa so I treated her. We got messages and was able to go into the grotto which was awesome. We had so much fun and got to have a day of relaxation. It was so worth it. We plan on going back soon!
They have showers, jacuzzi, nail salon, a sauna. They even have 2 full size mirrors with brushes and blow dryers so you can fix yourself up after.
The water is infused with lemon or cucumber. Super tasty.
I highly recommend this place for anyone.

I was given a gift certificate to the spa for my birthday and have finally used it!
My original intention was to get a facial but needed my nails done but wanted it to be in a relaxing environment. So glad I came here for these services.
Jasmine welcomed me in the solarium for the spa manicure and later took me into the pedicure room. Both mani and pedi took a total of 2 hours to complete and I was so relaxed the entire time. Jasmine took her time, paid attention to detail and was able to almost put me to sleep with her relaxing touch.
My nails look perfect, I was so relaxed during and after the treatments and not only will come back to see Jasmine but get other services done!
Everybody was so welcoming and helpful. The environment is very relaxing and they have amazing spa facilities for you to use while you’re there getting any treatment done such as the jacuzzi, steam room, showers and lockers.
So happy with the place!

Recently I had the «Fire and Ice» facial with Dede. OMG!!! This was BY FAR, the best facial I have ever had! My skin was glowing after this facial and is still improving! I highly recommend this facial AND the Aesthetician!

I love love the Ivy spa!!! It is a warm, friendly and relaxing place. If anyone is looking for a nice place to relax the Ivy is your place to go. Their aestheticians are amazing!!! Love them!!! I literally just left the spa feeling WONDERFUL!!! Had an 80 min massage with Nina… Best massage ever! She is AWESOME! I had so many knots and tension from work (I’m a server) she worked on my back and calves until she got all my knots out… I feel great! I will definitely be requesting her from now on

Oh. My. Gosh.
I’ve been to many… MANY massage places over the years and have yet to find a place that I truly truly love. My search has officially ended today. This spa was amazing.
It was my first visit and upon entering you’re led to the women’s or men’s area and given slippers and a robe and an assigned locker. The lady showed me around and I was pretty impressed with how nice the lady’s locker room was. It was empty when I went so I felt like I had the place all to myself. In the locker room they also had a mini jacuzzi area which I didn’t use since I didn’t have my bathing suit with me. They also had many showers and stocked with shampoos and some other feminine hygiene products.
After I changed into the robe I chilled the coed solarium and man that room was big. It was so pretty. Lots of comfy couches and chairs to relax in and wait till your masseuse calls you in for your massage or other treatments. They had fruits, nuts, and some beverages.
The area was so relaxing. It was really nice to just lay back and unwind.
My masseuse, Chris, calls me for my 50 min Swedish massage.
Let me just tell you… it was the best massage I’ve had in a LONG time. My back feels amazing now and I just feel so relaxed. I’m def coming back after that massage.
Afterwards I relaxed in the solarium for some time and showered and changed.
I seriously cannot wait to come back to this place. Every single employee was beyond professional and welcoming. They’re a tad pricey but honestly I feel like the level of service you’re receiving is worth it.

I had a 50 minute massage, which was great. The masseuse was kind and talented, and I may or may not have had to keep myself from drooling.
The parking is convenient with the lot just around the corner from the entrance.
The facilities are extremely lacking. The lockers are along the isle of the entrance, and if you’re changing in front of the locker you’re sure to be in the way of anyone waking by. The jacuzzi is very small if you are not by yourself. The jets are very strong, which makes is hard to just «sit» in the spa, especially without brushing up against the knees of a stranger.
If you don’t mind the inadequacies of the facilities, this is a great place to get a massage. Robes are comfy, but I would recommend bringing your own spa shoes, as the shoes are quite stiff and narrow.

My boyfriend and I did massages here for our 5 year anniversary. I have to say overall we were very pleased. Clean facilities, and snacks and cucumber water/​lemonade while you wait. A little pricey, but that comes with the experience.
The massages were good. Not outstanding, but no complaints!

Took my mom and sister for a couple treatments and grotto and we had a fantastic time! My facialist Cynthia is outstanding (my second time with her). She does a great job and makes me feel so relaxed! My mom and sister also loved their treatments. I finally got to go through the grotto with them! They can’t wait to go back. Me too!

My husband got me a gift card last December, so I decided to use it on a massage & a facial. I got a free grotto treatment with the gift card, so I did that as well. I did the facial on a different day, so I want to talk about just the massage & grotto experience in this review.
I made an appointment, which I highly suggest due to the length of time you’ll be spending there (opinion based on the length of treatments I received). The grotto was fun, but I wished I had someone else to go with me (it is coed). There was no one in the warm/​cool rooms so it was a bit boring just sitting in there with the body mask on. I tried practicing mindfulness & being in the moment, relaxing. Also I suggest bringing your own shower shoes because the ones I used there didn’t fit & they gave me a blister due to rubbing on my wet foot. (Not any fault of The Ivy’s)
The massage was just ok. I know on their website they tote the best masseurs but the gentleman I got was just ok. I asked him to do only my feet, back & neck but he did full body. Still felt good, just not what I asked for.
The locker rooms are the best. I could spend all day in just the hot tub, steam room and rain showers! I wish they were coed because I’d like to experience it with my husband, but that’s ok. The foyer where you wait to be called for your appointment is coed & very peaceful. They have nice touches such as snacks, drinks (flavored water, coffee, tea), magazines and a nice fountain with natural light & large plants.
I am an active duty servicewoman at Edwards AFB, and this place is HANDS DOWN worth the hour-​plus drive to Valencia to get pampered! They also gave me a military discount which was a very generous gesture. I will return, no doubt!!!

I absolutely love this spa! I have been going here for about 8 years! Hard to believe :) just this past year, I signed up as a member and have not regretted this decision once. I particularly like to have massage therapist, Laura, as she has always done a terrific job with my back.
I regularly work out (4−6x/week) and drive about 20 – 30 hours week for work, so you can imagine that my back needs some work, and Laura has always up for the challenge and done a fantastic job!
Also the facials are fabulous. The consultants are kind, educating, and smart about the needs of your skin. They have done a good job of alerting to the different kind of products that I should focus on to make the most of my skin!
You definitely need to go to this spa! Btw, try the grotto, it’s so much fun :)

This place has always been a favorite. I’ve never had a less than perfect experience here. Finally became a member this year and it’s been the best decision because it’s now a place for my down time and relaxation anytime I want or need it. I love how the place is always so clean and staff so accommodating. This place is the only spa that offers the grotto service and it’s a treat for your skin, definitely try adding it to your treatment.
If you want quiet, call and make sure it’s not a super busy time as sometimes other guests don’t know how to read signs and have no common curtesy so to avoid that call and check.
Love this spa!

Ok… so here is my update to my experience:
The day after posting my review the owner called me, apologizing for my experience and offered me to reschedule for a complimentary massage with an upgrade of my choice. I accepted and he told me to call his manager Wendy whenever I am ready to make an appointment .
I called back a day later, asking if I could apply my massage to a head to to package, since my husband and I were planning a spa day. She said that it wouldn’t be a problem and transfered me to the front desk manager Mario. He was very nice and scheduled us for the day I wanted with the massage part of our package in the couples room.
So far so good. We arrived and got called in by our therapists. Into separate rooms. I told my therapist that we were supposed to be in the couples rooms and she told me it wasn’t booked that way. When I told her that Mario had confirmed it to me, she moved us into the couples room. Thank you for that. Even though now the room and beds weren’t preheated and it was kind of cold in there, we did enjoy our massage. I appreciated our therapists moving us without delay.
The facial afterwards was great as well, really enjoyed our services and had a good day.
The reason I am only giving 4 stars:
The booking error with the couples room even though it was confirmed to me. (I would actually only subtract half a star for this if I could since it was taken care of by the therapist after I mentioned it)
Overall I think staff needs to communicate better and maybe leave notes on accounts for each other… after confirming my reservation etc I should not have to worry about everything being handled as booked or have to remind staff about what was reserved. …I should be able to just go and relax…
A lot better than last time, but still not the 5 star experience I expected after speaking to the owner and managers who reassured me everything would be perfect this time… I do appreciate the efforts management, and especially Mario went through to remedy my concerns though. Will go back there again.

Had a wonderful spa pedicure with Jasmine. She took her time and did a really beautiful job with my nails. I had a special Watermelon scrub, and that, along with a lotion rub, was delicious. I got to spend some time relaxing in the solarium, had a crisp pear, and drank fruity water. I think the whole package was entirely worth it. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my toenails.
Bottom line: treat yourself to nail services with Jasmine. It’s more expensive than a pedicure than you get at one of the many nail places in the SCV, but the Ivy is SO much more relaxing and the quality of her work is outstanding.

I had a great experience at the spa yesterday. A fantastic massage with Kristi & an equally fantastic pedicure with Jasmine.
This was my first pedicure with Jasmine & I loved it! She was very nice and did a great job on my pedicure. She even offered me the hot neck wrap without having to ask for it.
I have to say Tracy & Adel at the front desk were wonderful as usual!
Highly recommend a manicure & pedicure with Jasmine.

Imagine a day such as this — weather outside 75 degrees gorgeous breeze along with it.
This day was just great from start to finish with the day being so lovely. It was the first time my mommy and I came here (occasion a birthday gift for her). I had made reservations 2 weeks prior and wanted her to have a lovely time.
We arrived early and had time to enjoy the tea, cucumber water, nuts, and fresh apples before we had our girls massage in the VIP room. Which was accompanied with apple cider two flutes and two chocolate dipped strawberries. My mommy really enjoyed this and kept thanking me for a sweet gift she and I felt so spoiled.
The massage was great it was on a heated table after it was done we had the room to ourselves for 20 minutes. We showered to get the oils off from the massage. There is no restroom in the VIP room just a walk in shower.
The staff was very sweet and everyone is literally speaking as if they are in a library which was really hard. I was trying to be as quiet as possible and I think I did a good job, since naturally I am laughing or bumping into things (I’m pretty clumsy).
We plan on coming back and I have shared with friends and family of how amazing everything was.
Self care is definitely a top priority!
