Rayne of Santa Clarita gets my vote — and especially the man who just fixed my kitchen soft-​water dispenser — RILEY. Riley is a huge asset to this company. He is knowledgable, very efficient, provides great customer service, and is a very loyal employee. He was very polite, very punctual, and made the repair as cost-​effective as possible. I have to amend my previous review. The salesman made great promises and the set up was fantastic. Our garage was full as we just moved in and they could not install a needed remote. We were told they would let us know the day before and deliver the tank early morning. Well that never happened instead we got a notice saying they missed us. We set up a time for them to come and install and change the tank. They never showed. I called to get an explanation and was told nicely they messed up. I asked if they could call ahead so we may plan for the day they deliver. I was told they have too many customers to call ahead. Wow really too many. Well now you will have one less so you may take care of all your customers. If I ever told my clients I could not give them the personal service I promised due to too many customers I would not be in business. It’s a shame they shared how they we’re a small local business so I supported them. Wow beyond disappointed. I guess I will switch to the large company so I don’t bother companies with too many customers. Shame on you.

This will be long… I’ve read pros and cons of having water softener. In the end I decided to get one. We met up with Culligan, I’ve read reviews and stumbled on a Unilocal review of Rayne as well. I liked what I read about Rayne but I haven’t made any decision until I spoke with my co-​worker and she recommended Rayne. I decided to call Rayne to set up an appointment. Tom the sales person was on time. The house we bought already had a Rayne drinking system, although water softener was the reason for the appointment he looked into our drinking water system and talked about options. Needless to say I signed up for the softener for the moment. Tom said they’ll call for the schedule of installation. Mike who scheduled my appointment called to set up for Friday June 3 originally but he found an opening for May 31 8 – 10 so I took the latter. John S. arrived at the specified time for installation. He discussed what he’s going to do and how long will it take, he gave me a few instructions. It took maybe 30 – 40 minutes or so, then after he discussed a few more pointers on delivery, things to expect, bypassing softener for watering our plants! He’s very patient to answer my questions. Now I’m excited to use and see the difference to having water softener! It’s also great that Rayne has no contract! Awesome customer service! Keep it up!

I have enjoyed Rayne’s soft and drinking products/​services for approximately 15 years. The entire Rayne team — from receptionist to servicemen — have integrity, are hard working and are focused on great customer service. Today I’d like to give a special shout out to John S. who serviced my drinking water system! As is customary with the Rayne staff, he was pleasant, and showed up on time, and wasted no time completing my annual service. I highly recommend Rayne Water. Thank you John and Rayne.

Love these guys. First off, Mike Mang knows his stuff and made it easy for me to choose Rayne. Then, the installer John was super polite, explained everything to me that I needed to know, and at my request, tested the water pressure beyond the newly installed tanks so I could be certain it was high enough for our needs.
I decided to get soft water after going on a vacation where they had soft water and my hair and skin really improved in just a week. Plus lately I had been noticing that my clothes were being affected by the hard water… not really getting clean, not as soft and supple, etc. Sure enough, my Rayne system is doing exactly what I want.

We have our Rayne Water system in our business in Santa Clarita. I have had our drinking water system for about a year and a half now. We are always pleased with the service technicians. I highly recommend John from Rayne, as he changed our filters for us yesterday. He is very knowledgeable, has a great attitude and work ethic. I tend to want to know about why or what they are doing and he answered every question with a smile. Thank you John for your service and we hope to see you again!

I love my Rayne water and working with this company. The customer service is amazing. I receive yearly reminders for servicing my tank under the sink and every 5 years for my water softener in the garage. It is easy to get appointments in my time frame and they always show up on time. John was my service provider for my tank changing today and he was efficient, patient with our questions, and knowledgeable. I suggest everyone use this company and ask for John as your provider.

After my first review I was contacted by Rayne Water where I spoke with a Mike who apologized for the delay in responding to my water concerns. I appreciate the persistant call backs until we were able to reach each other and he answered any questions or concerns I had.
I will update my previous recomendations and now I would recommend the use of Rayne Water versus the comercialized companies. They have a small staff so you will always speak with the same people versus getting new people everytime you call. I hope my complaint of the lack/​late call backs of customer complaints/​issues was a fluke and was learned and improved upon. They also agreed to give me a free month of service for the inconvenience of waiting for their feedback, I do appreciate that great customer service in trying to rectify a wrong and it’s greatly appreciated, something you don’t see from larger companies.

Any time I have have had a question regarding water problems David Silver has guided me in the right direction. He has a wealth of information when it comes to water softeners/​conditioning. Always the professional and easy to talk too. As a general mgr of retail I can appreciate that David is a great asset to the Rayne family

We have had Rayne for over 10 years and are very pleased with the service we receive. From customer service to the tech taking care of our reverse osmosis, 5 stars just don’t not seem enough stars for such EXELLENT SERVICE! Thank you!

I have had this company change my filter annually. they always remind me. they come very soon after i call and they arrive on time. Nick Butler did a great job last week again!

stay far away from these crooks. So they work from 9 – 2 and when you sign a contract with them that information is not disclosed. If you work it’s impossible to be there during those times. So I cancelled service– and they continued to charge me until the tanks were picked up. I asked the owner to have them meet me before 7:30 m or after 3 pm or any saturday and he said NO. He asked me to give him my combination to enter the garage and promised nothing would be taken.
Basically they are holding me responsible for the tank issue. The owner is a crook– lived in SCV for 32 years and never had an experience like this. HORRIBLE PEOPLE in the rye canyon branch in valencia ca

Their delivery system and customer servuce needs some work. The technician was consistently coming by no later than 7:30am every other Wednesday to replace our soft water tank, so I was able to be there to open the garage door for him and take my kids to school at 8:00am. There was no schedule conflict. Because of the initial reliability, when my wife decided to start going to school again it wasn’t going to be an issue because it wouldn’t cause a schedule conflict because everything else fell into place and the tank delivery came by before I had to take the kids to school. (Good so far…) Today, however, around 8:00am, I still hadn’t received the delivery of the new tank. So I called Rayne to ask if they could give me a time estimate of when to expect it (thinking maybe I could wait a couple minutes and the kids wouldn’t be late for school). Because… seriously… how ridiculous is it for someone to wait for a SOFT WATER DELIVERY to the point it makes their child LATE for school. That’s asinine… .and that’s why I called Rayne… to get some feedback.
I ended up talking to Jeremy who wasn’t very helpful, but more upsetting was that he wasn’t TRYING to be helpful. His demeanor with me on the phone was patronizing which is what really upset me. He didn’t offer any solutions, he only provided an excuse. This is not an effective way to run customer service at ANY business. He was not willing to find out if the delivery person skipped my house or what the reason was why I hadn’t received my delivery yet. When I asked if the delivery man has a cell phone, he replied, «Yes. They all have their personal cell phones, but we don’t call them because they’re driving.» That answer in itself shows a lack of customer care because it’s B.S. The drivers aren’t driving when they deliver. Additionally, if the business called the driver and the driver didn’t answer because they were driving, I’m pretty sure the driver would call them back when they were able. That statement from Jeremy was a pitiful excuse to not have to try to work with me to come up with a solution. It was simply unacceptable.
I had to leave then to get my kids to school (two different schools in two different parts of the city), so I was rushing. I left at 8:06 and got back at 8:22. In those 16 minutes, the delivery guy stopped by (Murphy’s Law in full effect) because he left a company note on the door saying he was there. There was a blank for the time to be filled in, but there was only «8:» written there. I didn’t even know WHEN the driver HAD come by.
As soon as I got inside (8:23), I called back Jeremiah at Rayne. He still said that he couldn’t find out where the driver was nor could he have the driver come back by. ALSO, to add insult to injury, he said that redelivery was going to cost me an additional $ 20. That really sent me through the roof because I would have been willing to wait an additional couple of minutes to leave my house IF I KNEW THE DELIVERY GUY WAS GOING TO BE THERE IN 16 MINUTES!!! But Jeremiah wasn’t even willing to help me out in that aspect and was content sitting back as this unfolded to ultimately tell me I can either wait another 2 weeks for a delivery OR pay another $ 20 ON TOP OF MY REGULAR BILL!!!
THAT IS NOT DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We may have been able to come up with a solution, but Jeremy didn’t even try… I came up with the final solution and took the 100+ lbs. tank to Rayne and swapped it out.

I have been renting my house for the last 3 years and the owner decided to sell it so I bought it. When we did the inspection I found out the hard water had really taken a toll on all of the faucets, pipes, sprinklers etc. I decided to get a water softener company and saw Culligan delivering water to some of my neighbors and decided to give them a call. I set up an appointment and a sales person came out to give me an estimate. Lets just say it went downhill fast. When I made the appointment no one told me I would have to give them my social security number to get water. What? I work in an industry that runs credit on a daily basis and see the damage that is done from people getting someone’s social security number. I told him I am not giving you my social security number for a water service. If I had known this I would never have had you come out. He said well you have to sign this 5 year contract and we will give you all 3 systems for $ 69.86 a month. I said I don’t need the drinking water attached to my sink I only want the other 2 services for the pipes and hard water etching. He says oh no you need all 3 you get a discount at that. When I tell him I am not giving him my social security number he calls his boss who asks my date of birth I give it to them and they said we still cant find you so unless you give us you social security we are not able to give you the water unless you pay a year upfront which is about $ 750. I said forget it I will get another company to do it. He then proceeds to tell my that Rayne does not ask for a social security number but they are more expensive and do not offer the same quality of service. The whole process with them just felt sleazy and not on the up and up. I decided to email Rayne water and Mike gave me a call back. The difference was amazing. He actually asked me what I wanted and why. He did not try to push things on me I did not need just to make a sale. Plus they are cheaper than Culligan and the customer service is amazing. If you are thinking about getting a water softener system don’t call Culligan. Call Rayne and ask for Mike. I felt I was on the phone with someone who cared about my needs not how much they could make off of me.

Ok why 5 stars? Simple put it was the technician, Njck, that came out and did the work. We’ve been with RAYNE for our reverse osmosis system for years. While they always send a reminder post card we must have missed ours.
We sprung a leak and had a handyman fix it. It still leaked. When I checked the meter it showed we were past due for a filter exchange. Time to call RAYNE!
Nick was able to troubleshoot the problems, fix the leaks, install the new filters and a new membrane (when this is changed you want to see what it’s looks like and is filtering out), re-​pressurized the system, cleaned the faucet and put in new O rings. All the while he was explaining and showing me what he was doing.
Normally you only see them once a year. We waited two and that was not a good idea.
These systems aren’t cheap and aren’t all that easy to do yourself. The prices might seem high but what more important ingredient do you put in your body than water?

We’ve been with Rayne for a year now with no problems with the soft water system and the filtered reverse osmosis drinking water. Good customer service and technicians/​delivery staff that you can trust. Our filtered water from our refrigerator didn’t taste good so getting the reverse osmosis drinking water from Rayne was a great idea.

I have been using Rayne for about a year now and everything has been perfect. They came over set up our soft water extremely fast and we haven’t had an issue since. The set up was free and the monthly price is cheaper than anyone else in the area. They are always there to answer any questions. I would recommend them to anyone in the Valencia area with bad hard water, you can tell the difference once it is installed.

I just want to do a positive «shout out» for Rayne Water. I recently cancelled my Culligan account for issues regarding service and customer service. I then spoke to Kirk Walker at Rayne. I was very impressed with Kirk’s knowledge about the water in the SCV and Rayne’s products. I decided to sign up. I was again moved that instead of him asking me to «sign here», Kirk took the time to explain the agreement and what my expectation of Rayne’s products and services will be. By the way, I am a local real estate agent and will gladly refer Kirk and Rayne to my clients.
