I have spent thousands of dollars at this store. Spoke with manager about an item that they could not get. They were very rude.

I’ve been having the worst experience with this place for the past few months. We were registered here and after the wedding we had a few things that needed to be returned. They can’t give you a gift card in store for some reason so it has to be mailed to you weeks later. I’ve since tried to purchase sheets 2 separate times. The first time they had to be ordered and they sent the wrong color. Then I returned them. Waited another 2 weeks for the gift card then went back to make the SAME purchase. 2 days later I got a voicemail from their online order rep. They said there was an issue with the transaction and it had to canceled. He then went on to tell me they had to mail me the amount in another gift card and I would have to go back and make another purchase. Now, I have the gift card and want to buy the same sheets online(to save myself from having to go in store again.) The online system will not recognize ANY of the 5 gift cards I have. I can check the balance on all of them and it’s shows the totals but when I attempt to use for my purchase it’s telling me to call customer service. So frustrated. I almost rather sleep on cardboard at this point. FML.

This store is okay! I went in once and no one acknowledged me. So I decided to place my order online. I went in a second time to look a lighting, to my surprise someone actually took the time to help me out.

I have no complaints about this specific store, just Pottery Barn in general. I have had overall bad experiences in ordering furniture from here. Only order if you can wait several months for delivery. I ordered the Sofia extra wide dresser in September, the website says its in stock and ready to ship, and here we are 4 months later, I have yet to receive it. The latest is late a new shipment is coming in on 1⁄2516. If not in this shipment, I’m going to look elsewhere for a dresser. And don’t trust their delivery vendor. They will schedule delivery of an item and not show up. It’s happened to me 3 times now, today being the 3rd.

My mother wanted to purchase some decorative flowers and selected two identical items, one with a price tag($ 7) and the other without. The sales associate(#275199 per the receipt) took the items to the back and after about 15 mins came back. He was extremely rude and abrasive as he told her they were completely different items and the untagged item was more expensive($ 22). When she told him they looked exactly the same he said they weren’t. He glared at her as if she was an idiot. After she paid for the one $ 7 item and thanked him again he just glared at her as if she was an inconvenience making him do his job. He was rude and inconsiderate. For a company that has always been customer service oriented it was surprising and disappointing that one bad apple ruins their reputation.

My wife loves this place so they get mad props from me, her damn handsome man! We love to come here and browse around for décor ideas and knickknacks. They have some really people working there that make some great suggestions. I recommend this place.

There is more Pottery Barn things in my house than I care to admit but today reminds me why. Need to get a second bookcase to match the one we bought a few years ago here. Not content to just let us order, CALLED the order department to make sure this would match the finish of the one we have. No luck there so they then called customer service to retrieve our previous order. Sure enough, our bookcase finish has been discontinued and the other one we were looking at is back-ordered until Spring. Then they apologized for not being able to help us more. They have earned my business!!!
