I had an appointment to get an oil change here AT 5:30. I come to the place AND THEYRE F*CKING CLOSED, and on top of that THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR F*CKING PHONES OR RETURN PHONE CALLS. I mean seriously this was horrible HORRIBLE service. I’m so disappointed in the staff, at least CALL me to let me know you won’t be there for my appointment THAT YOU SCHEDULED FOR ME. Honestly don’t want your time with these ameteurs, giving my time and money to a company THAT DOES THEIR JOB CORRECTLY. I’d give ZERO stars but that’s not allowed…

Do not take your vehicle Nosticagic creation for restoration. Sam and Lynn are liars and are dishonest. I took my vehicle to them it’s been there for 22 months!
they misrepresent every aspect of a fair and honest business. I’ve reported them to BAR and Better Business Bureau. If I had the funds I would take them to court as well. Do not trust them with your Classic!

Sad I have to revise my review of this place, but it appears the owners are changing businesses. Service was way off. Probably last time there sadly.

This place is the best and so appreciate Sam and Lynn. My daughter and I have been coming here for years and I always feel like I’m getting the best service at a reasonable cost! If I have an issue they will have me come in and evaluate immediately. Also any warranty issues on a part they cover it. If you tried the others I recommend you try this place next time even if for just an oil change!

Rarely do you find an honest repair shop. Sam is very friendly and honest. The work they do is great. I’ve taken my car to many other places previously, I was treated as just another number. It’s refreshing when you are remembered and well taken care of. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Truly a throwback to a better time, when people really cared about what they do instead of just trying to milk your wallet for every last penny.

I recently brought in the center armrest for my car to be reupholstered, because the original leather was tearing. The replacement leather piece I bought (on eBay) was too small. They were able to stretch the leather and make it work.
Sam and Lynn were friendly, and the final product they delivered to me was amazing.
This shop does great work and I would definitely go back.

Great place for cars. Honest, funny and straight forward are the words that come to mind when describing Sam & Lynn. Definitely give them a shot for any of your car needs!

Sam and his staff are the best. Had oil change and minor service done. Quick, professional, and at a very reasonable price. The waiting room is full automotive antiques and toys. Very cool stuff.

I have been taking my car to Nostalgic now for about 3 years. Sam and Lynn are the best! As a woman who commutes 60 miles one way to work, finding a good, honest mechanic is near impossible. But I don’t worry about honesty here. I have nothing but rave reviews.

Excellent service. I was just referred by my coworker and it was NOT a mistake to come here. As i said, excellent service, courteous staff, people the wok there knows what they are doing and good value for the money. Got my honda accord LED lights installed and the service was quick and precise. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Wish I didn’t have to write this. Been a loyal customer of them for a couple years now. Up until the past few months the only complaint I had is that it takes on average 2 ½ hours to get your oil changed. Which is fine — you just run errands or pick up the car the next day. And that they never if rarely call you back if you leave a message.
But in the past few months I’ve experienced several small incidents that make me second guess continuing to bring my car in. It’s just not what it used to be — perhaps their popularity is taking it’s toll on their service.
For example: Not performing a service (alignment check) even when it was asked to do so and not apologizing — just telling us that it would happen the next time we brought it in. I left the shop with my tire pressure gage light on and my tires clearly hadn’t been checked. When I called to complain I was given many excuses that the mechanics did check the gage. Sure. My light maybe went off on accident. Perhaps they did check it. But they clearly have little sense of customer service — no apologies. Just excuses.
Sam loves to tell jokes, and loves to entertain the ladies so be prepared for that as well if you’re waiting for your car.
For me, too many strikes against them at this point — and mostly from a customer service standpoint — if you have the patience of a saint and don’t mind hearing some jokes, go for it. The service tends to be decent (although I must say I don’t completely trust them anymore after the tire gage thing and the alignment check thing — which seem like such basic things.) I tried to give them another chance — instead I was given excuses. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Another happy customer! Brought my replica ’57 Speedster in for some carb linkage work/​repair and came away with more than I expected (service, not cost). Sam is a perfectionist and did a great job on the linkage and fixed the shifting as well. I got a quite a deal. It is great to be driving my car again. Thanks!

Went here for the first time after looking up shops on
and then Unilocal,all other shops had only only 1 – 3 reviews and this had 17 ALL 100% which caught my attention… now I’m #18. The Parkway dealer told me $ 750 for new alternator and Sam quoted me $ 355 and after leaving it with him and testing it all day, he determined nothing was wrong and didn’t even replace it after all. He easily could have done the work as I asked him to do, made money and I would been non the wiser. He also did a couple of extra small things and refused to charge me anything. Total professionals, very sharp and clean shop. I plan to take my two other cars there too.

Like many others who have been victims of rip-​off car dealerships and repair shops, I have hesitated getting my SUV serviced for quite a while, like 96,000 miles. I finally had to get my brakes checked since I got tired of hearing it squeak whenever I stepped on the brakes and also because the steering wheel would shake like crazy whenever I hit the brakes at freeway speed.
I hesitated going to Frontier Toyota to get my brakes done since I’ve been ripped off there before. After reading Nostalgic Creations’ Unilocal reviews, I figured… what have I got to lose? It’s either get ripped off at Frontier or try a new place. I called to make an appointment for the following week. I arrived at my appt time and was greeted by Lynn and Sam (the owner). They were both very pleasant and I explained that I needed to get my brakes checked. I knew that it would definitely need new brake pads and who knows what else.
While I was waiting, I was greeted by Indy, Sam’s friendly Rottweiler. Indy is 12 years old but doesn’t look a day over 7. When Sam gave me the estimate, it was much higher than what I had hoped for but when he told me that they would need to replace both the front and rear brake pads, rotors, and rear shocks and struts, as well as needing an oil/​filter change, I understood. Since it had been a very long time since my SUV had been serviced, what Sam said made sense.
I had dropped my SUV off at 9am and Sam said it might be done by the afternoon. He offered to give me a ride to wherever I needed but I had already arranged for that. I received a call from Lynn at 5pm to let me know that my car was ready.
The total bill was $ 1,269 with tax (parts were $ 734, labor was $ 470). It was a shocker but I knew that if I had taken my car to a dealership for the exact same repairs, the bill would have been much higher. Labor is usually double the cost of parts at dealerships but at Nostalgic, it was the opposite. Also, they did not charge me for a couple of other things (tire rotation, cleaned the dirty battery terminals and an extra quart of oil).
I purposely waited over a week to write this review because I wanted to make sure that my new brakes were still working great. I can definitely tell the ride is more comfortable and the brakes are solid and best of all, quiet. My steering wheel no longer shakes when I hit the brakes at high speeds.
I definitely recommend Nostalgic Creations for anyone who need repairs or parts. They also sell tires, batteries, and offer all kinds of car services. I’m so glad that I’ve finally found a car repair place that is not a rip-​off.

Sam is the best. Any time my truck needs something he is the first person I call. He is always honest and has great prices. Their new shop is amazing and spacious and very convenient.
I tell all my friends to go there.

Took my SUV to get the brakes done… another great job. Very upfront and honest. They are in a new and better location.

A mechanic that gets you the parts you want, not just the parts they have. A mechanic that tells you the car will be ready in x-​amount of time and it is. A mechanic that actually tells you what’s going on.
Weird. But actually true.
So, here’s the story of a lovely lady, who had a set of really squeaky breaks.
No one ever taught her about car related stuff and she trusted the evil people at the Lexus dealership that were ripping her off. That’s the story everyone is used to hearing. BTW, Lexus of Valencia, huge rip off, don’t have your service done there, WTF is a fuel injection cleaning service that costs $ 100? Exactly, it’s nothing but $ 100 BS.
So my lady knows that gas makes a car go if you push harder on the gas pedal the car goes faster. Instead of seeing her as an open check book, Sam at Nostalgic Creations saw her as a sad case of, girls don’t know much about cars.
Not only did he get her the Lexus parts she wanted, parts that he didn’t have in stock but had asap, he took her back and showed her what everything was and explained how it worked and how Lexus dicked her over.
I think my favorite thing Sam said was along the lines of, we aren’t in the business of ripping people off, we are in the business of having repeat customers and you don’t get those by stealing from people.
