Got Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking

This was our first opportunity to try a pet sitting service with our 2 year old Golden. We gave Got Paws a try based on neighbor recommendations, and the number of 5-​star reviews on Unilocal.Nikki and Breena visited our home to meet our dog, bond with her, and take her for a brief walk to assure all would be well. The half hour get-​to-​know-​the-​customer service was free, and provided our family with an indication of how professional and pet-​focused this company is. After receiving text updates each time the dog was tended to, and seeing how relaxed and comfortable the dog was upon our return, we are pleased to add another 5-​Star review to the Got Paws portfolio! So glad we found Got Paws! Bettina watched our 4 year old Chorkie who’s very spoiled & does not think she a dog. Bettina was great with her! Sasha doesn’t like everybody & is a tough cookie but fell in love with Bettina! She’s even looking for Bettina every time someone comes through the door that Bettina used. Nikki and Brenna came to our home for the consultation and went over all their services and any concerns I had. Brenna did everything she said she would do for our kitty. You definitely get what you pay for! When we first moved to Santa Clarita last year we needed to find a new sitter for our two giant breed dogs. We both work from home and our dogs are used to us being home with them all day so when we’re out of town we prefer someone to stay overnight with them and then visit mid-​day. Got Paws had the highest ratings but were more expensive than what we were used to paying in LA so we opted for one of the other local sitters. Let me reiterate… you get what you pay for!
We were not happy with the other sitting service and once we set up our home automation system we were seeing that they weren’t showing up on time and not staying for the specified time. So we decided to start using Got Paws and we couldn’t be happier! Bettina is our usual sitter and our dogs LOVE her! She always takes amazing care of them, gives them tons of attention, always texts me updates and photos and takes great care of the house while she’s staying here. I always know they’re in good hands when we leave them with her. You can’t put a price on the peace of mind of knowing your furbabies are well taken care of.

Very happy with the level of communication and service. Nikki and Alexia were awesome during our brief getaway. So nice to get daily pics of our fur kids! And equally lovely to know all our boundaries and routines were being followed. Definitely would recommend and use again. Thanks Nikki & Alexia!

This was my first experience with Got Paws.
I left my 17 yr old lab who is not in good health & a new senior rescue in their care at my home. Also, they cared for my 35 yr old turtle.
My animals are my life & Nikki & Alexia cared for my four legged family like their own family.

Got Paws is the first company that we have ever used to watch our animals while out of town. We have always used family members to watch the animals so I was a little nervous. Let me tell you Got Paws is amazing! Scheduling appointment and paying was easy. We had Alexia as our sitter and she did an amazing job with my girls! I always knew when she was there and what was going on with my dogs. She would send me pictures and updates regarding each visit. I highly recommend Got Paws and plan to use them again in the future.

Great service. They are great with out dogs and its nice having our dogs at home and checked on rather than at a kennel. Plus the house gets checked on. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

I absolutely adore Got Paws! and I am so thankful to be able to call them whenever work schedules get crazy and we need help getting the dog walked.
Scheduling is incredibly simple and I really appreciate that the same person walks our dog each time. I also love that we get a text when the dog walk is over to let us now how the dog did.

Never used a pet sitting service apart from a neighbor or friend… This was our first time… On a side-​note… I’m not particularly a fan of gambling on services that have anything other than spectacular feedback… so it was a no surprise that I chose Got Paws. Nikki was very professional and detailed with coordinating the visit beforehand listening carefully to our concerns… which was a much appreciated and seems to be standard practice for this company.
Amanda was our sitter and took exceptional care of our Frenchie. First time he was left in the care of anyone else. He immediately took to her caring personality. When away… She kept us informed with timely texts of visits and feedback as well as pictures. I can’t say enough good things about the thoughtfulness of this company and it’s employees. As if I need to add yet another 5 star review to this place… you can see they are great by these ratings! I feel so lucky to have such an amazing service right here in SCV.
While of course we missed our 2 cats while on a week long vacation, we had no worries while we were away. Patti did a fantastic job caring for and playing with them, and texted us daily updates on their status. Our cats were totally calm when we got home.
Communications with the Got Paws staff was easy through email, and the ability to pay online is nice. The consultation was quick and let us show any special care needs and meet our sitter and Nikki.
We definitely won’t have to think twice next time we need our cats taken care of! Thank you, Got Paws!

Alexia came in to take care of our two dogs and 1 cat, and she was amazing! She not only walked and fed the pets, but she bonded and played with them every time she visited. Alexia is amazing. She truly does care for our pets as much as we do.

We are so grateful to our dog sitter, Jessica at Got Paws. We were overseas for 9 days and she took care of our dog and my mom’s dog, as we would have. She spent time with them, sent two updates daily and sent pictures so we knew our dogs were well looked after.

If I could rate Got Paws higher than 5 stars, I would! Got Paws was exactly what I was looking for, and they were so professional and helpful! I usually have my friends check in on my cats while I am away, but with no one available, I had to find another alternative. I contacted Got Paws, and they returned my calls the same day, and set up an appointment for a consultation. The consult went great, and I had no reservations leaving my kitties in their capable hands!
Patti was my cat sitter, and she was wonderful. She sent me a picture after her visit, so I knew the boys were well taken care of! I felt like she took care of my cats like I would take care of them.

I am very pleased with the pet sitting services provided by Got Paws. They are very professional, well-​organized and punctual. Amanda took excellent care of my 3 cats — I felt very confident leaving them in her care. She obviously is very good with cats because 2 of my more reclusive kitties came out of hiding for her! Got Paws was exactly what I was looking for. We have an older Golden who has never been boarded or spent a night alone. When my normal sitter was unavailable a friend recommended Got Paws. Met with Nikki and Amanda and they went over and above all of my expectations. Thank you for loving my fur baby as much as our family does!

During the past 2 years, Nikki, Jessica, and Amanda have each cared for our canine with the same high level of service and consistent attention to our pet’s needs and our needs! Our dog loves his walks, playtime, treats and snuggles. We love our photo-​text updates and coming home to a wagging tail and a clean house! (Nikki even cleaned up an ant invasion that happened during one of our trips.)

Our dog has been well taken care of by Got Paws and his walker Jessica. He can be somewhat skittish in many situations but we feel very comfortable when he is in the hands of Got Paws.
Really love that Jessica sends us a text, upon the completion of a walk, to share with us how the walk went. This gives us piece of mind that our boy is comfortable and awaiting our return home.

We recently adopted a 5-​year old lab as a sister for our almost-​13 year old lab. I am really used to how easy the older girl is and when I realized that my husband and I would both be gone this weekend for more time than was acceptable to leave a 5-​year old that doesn’t nap as much… I thought «we need a solution.»
Straight to Unilocal and I found Got Paws? A couple emails later and we were set for a consultation. Nikki and Amanda showed up on time and were perfect with the dogs and me. Amanda was the one who was going to check in on our pups and she was right on time and texted me an update and a photo. It was great. Made for a less stressful day for all of us.
I wish we had more of a need for a pet sitter… I would have them come all the time. It is great to know that they are available. And they provide a service that makes me feel comfortable both with them in our home and with our sweet labs.

Nikki y su equipo son fantásticos. Aman su trabajo, aman a los perros y se nota en cada detalle que ponen en el cuidado de los pequeños. Mis perros la adoran, tengo dos Chihuahuas y están completamente enamorados de ella. Nikki es ahora parte de nuestra familia. Ademas de cuidar y dar mucho amor a los pequeños, Nikki y el staff son muy serviciales y amigables, y si sales de viaje, te ayudan incluso a recoger tu correo, abrir y cerrar tus ventanas durante el dia, sacar la basura, regar las plantas, etc. Antes de conocerlos siempre viajaba con una ansiedad tremenda de dejar a mis perros, ahora ya puedo viajar tranquila sabiendo que tienen a alguien que los cuida y les da todo el amor que necesitan mientras no estoy. Además si hablas español o inglés, no hay ningún problema, Got Paws? tiene personal que habla español así que tus pequeños recibiran todo el amor al que estan acostumbrados en su idioma!
NIkki and her team are fantastic. They love their work, love dogs and it shows in every detail they put into the care of the puppies. My dogs love her, I have two Chihuahuas and are completely in love with her. Nikki is now part of our family. Got Paws? staff are very helpful and friendly, and if you go on a trip, they even help you pick up your mail, open and close your windows during the day, taking out the trash, watering your plants etc. Before knowing them I always traveled with a tremendous anxiety for leaving my dogs, now I can travel easy knowing they have someone that cares and gives them all the love they need while I’m gone. Also if you speak Spanish, there is no problem, Got Paws? has Spanish speaking staff so your puppies will receive all the love they are used to in your own language!
