Glen Oaks Escrow is an independent, locally owned escrow company, in business for over 20 years. At the helm, is President and CEO, Scott Akerley. Glen Oaks Escrow adheres to a strict code of principles and ethics, guaranteeing your escrow transaction will be handled as mandated by the local governing laws and regulations. We also are at the forefront of all CFPB regulations with our SSAE 16 certification and have written our policies and procedures around the ALTA 7 Pillars.

Business Owner

Scott has been involved in the escrow business for over twenty years, and he knows the industry inside and out. He’s held virtually every position in the field-​he was promoted from messenger to receptionist to escrow officer, and ultimately became the president of multiple escrow companies. So, he understands escrow from every angle. And, more importantly, he understands the value of establishing powerful relationships. Just ask his employees — especially his first assistant, who still works for him nineteen years later. Or ask the real estate agents who come to Glen Oaks Escrow for ongoing training and support. Or Soroptimist International, who honored him with the Advancing the Status of Women Award.
