Fast food place and all, still pretty darn good chicken! Nice salsa bar selections, but orders can be a little slow getting filled. So choose your salsas and have a seat. They can also mix your orders up on occasion, this happened on my last visit but they’ve usually gotten it right. And like several others, I’m totally bummed about them dropping the barbecued black beans from their menu. They made the best accompaniment to their pollo bowls and was my favorite choice of sides.

A few of the employees are hard working and get orders right. The rest are absolutely clueless and always make errors with a simple order. It’s a 50 – 50 shot if you get what you ordered. And this location redefines slow service. With sketchy and slow service, best eat elsewhere.

Omg… What happened to the BRC burrito… I knew the price went up but really 1.79 for a burrito smaller then my phone. Seriously it was only about 5 inches… Go to Del taco and save some money… You get more from them.

The drive thru service takes forever! I waited for 20 minutes for my order, and then once I picked it up from the window it was missing like half of my order! I had to park my car go around and go back in to get what I was missing. What is the point of a drive thru? I shouldn’t be surprised though, this happens at every pollo loco I go to you. Never fails!

Parking lot is fair, in the same lot as target. The tables are usually dirtier than most fast food places I’ve been to. They had a new order taker and he couldn’t put a combo order in the register. Had to get his manager to put the order in. I got the new southwestern salad, the ingredients were good, the chicken was tender, but it was barely chopped up and still had some burnt skin on it. But overall it was good. We also ordered two chicken avocado tacos al carbon. We got a quesadilla instead. The manager got the replacement tacos quickly, but didn’t offer is the forty cent difference in price. I was going to say just keep the difference if she offered it, but she didn’t … So that’s why she gets a bad review… Four stars for the food, and one star for the service and table conditions. Their mild salsa is just the way we like it. Two stars overall.

I am here to give an updated review based on cleanliness: I see employees cleaning the salsa bar and tables every 15 minutes. That is great considering they have a high volume of customers coming in there. Need a regular Cleaning guy to sweep the floors. Obviously some customers are not good at picking up their own mess — not pollo locco ’ s fault but nevertheless the restaurant is cleaner than in my last visit. The food is horrible and the service is even worse. If I order tacos with just meat cheese and lettuce, why would you ask me if I want to leave the avocado and chipotle sauce on the tacos? I told you exactly how I want them. Not to mention that the last 2 times I have been here, the credit card machine has been down. Which means I had to get cash out at an arm that is not my bank and pay a fee. Any chance I’m getting my $ 6 back?

WOW! WOW! WOW! ANDNOTIN A GOODWAY!!! I’m shocked at the horrible customer service provided by Sarah(at least that is the name that I was provided by one of her coworkers) Went to the drive thru. Placed my order, they asked me if I wanted any salsas and asked for Pico de Gallo and Avocado Salsa. When I got to the window, the girl who was giving me my items did not even look at me, which it’s fine, I can get it over that. I don’t expect too much from fast food workers(although some are super nice). I checked my bag to see if I got everything and saw that I was missing the salsas. At this point the girl has walked away from the window. So I said«Excuse me, I asked for pico de gallo and avocado salsa». She came back and asked me to see my bag while she was talking out loud to one of her coworkers. I gave her my bag which she checked and then went to get my salsas. Obviously, if a customer is saying that is missing the salsas, just give them out, don’t question the customer!!! So I said: «Wow, you did not believe that I did not have my salsas?» and she YELLED back at me and said«NO!!!» I was beyond shocked! I tried to see her name tag but she was too far away and I was trying to pay attention that she did not spit on my salsas which is the least that I can expect from someone like that. She gave the salsas to a coworker who came to the window and was very nice and polite. The rude one with an attitude is already gone, so I had to ask her what was the name of her coworker and the name of the manager and she kindly provided the name of Sarah for the rude girl and Peter for the Store Manager. As soon as I drove away I decided to call their 1 – 877 # indicated in their receipt as a line for comments and complaints. As far as going to this El Pollo Loco location, NEVERAGAIN!!! I told my coworkers about my experience. They go there pretty often. They will avoid this location as well. Not sure if these reviews are monitored by anyone or if they even care but thought to share.

Dirty inside place to dine. Sticky floors & tables, salsa bar is a hot mess & the kitchen is so unorganized. No wonder the drive-thru is crowded! Food is average fast food tasting for what you get. Nice customer service, but no Manager to care about the style of the place. I say pass on this location!

Honestly this El Pollo loco has the worst service. The drive thru is neither quick or convenient. You have to repeat everything at least 3 times; the line for the drive thru is extremely slow and when you finally make it to the window… you better check your order before you leave! They have meesed up my order so many times previoualy. The owners of this franchise need to clean house and get competent people working here.

Good food but they shorted our order. We bought two family meals and they shorted us one Mexican salad and a set of churros. The salsa bar was a complete mess too. Here’s a tip guys: if it’s a Saturday rush, make sure you clean and restock the the bar.

Came here for a pit stop on our drive back up to N. Cal for some dinner. Got an 8 piece family meal for about $ 20 bucks. The chicken was not fresh and dried out. Skip it.

This place gets my order wrong all the time. Wrong tortillas, no salsa, 3 pieces instead of 8 pieces, no churros, wrong drink… The drive thru line is always backed up because the employees have admitted that their sensors go off when you move forward after you order so they move the line as slow as possible. The timer starts tracking their speed of service. I was once asked to back up from the pick up window to a particular spot so the timer could restart… for a free soda. I’ve called the number printed on the receipt to complain. It goes straight to an answering service. Good luck trying to get someone to call you back.

I really wanted to try there new tortas, me and my dtr. We were really excited because of what we had seen on the television commercials. So I ordered three of the tortas with guacamole. OMG, I was do disappointed, at was about 7 or 8 pm. My husband, dtr and myself were shocked because it was all bread, the chicken was hard and there were very little beans. You could not call that a torta. Shame on you that was a bad example of a torta and nothing close to what was on the commercial and I paid waaaaay to much.

Came here on a busy wednesday night, but I was surprised at how fast the line was & how great their customer service was too. The hubby & I both ordered tostada salads to dine in & the food came minutes after, it was so fast! Taste-wise it was good, of course the salad could have included more chicken, but it was the usual amount you get anywhere else on a chicken salad. The workers kept smiling and seemed as if they actually liked their job, so weird for being in an el pollo loco. Great, great customer service!
