Dink’s Deli & Bagels

Wow, if I could give negative stars I would. They girl at the front desk was very rude and had zero respect for any costumers. To top it off, I came here for Father’s Day breakfast with my little family an ended ended up not eating and leaving, after we had unloaded our 2 infants. Staff here needs to either be replaced, or properly train on how to treat people. Never again will we step foot in this location.

I showed up to Dinks Deli on the weekend. I showed up and I got the best service and an amazing breakfast burrito. The cashier was nice, approachable. I Ordered the Wham Breakfast burrito and the salsa that came with it was amazing, I Loved it!!! I will keeping coming back here all the time.

Horrible food. Do not recommend. I has the eggs Benedict. It tastes like it was just up on a place and was just there. Only good thing was the fruit.

Some times you find a hole in the wall deli and the food makes up for it. Some times it is just a hole in the wall. Upholstery torn and cracked in booths. Food bland. Nothing special here.

I use to love going in for a bagel but the people behind the counter don’t understand what your asking for!!! Service has totally gone down hill in the past year!!! Bagels are delicious…

Big mistake. I rarely go out for lunch on weekdays but i decided to yesterday. I headed over to Togos but it was oddly closed so i ended up at Dinks since it was 2 doors down. The prices are way up there, $ 9.76 for a cold sandwich, no drink, is way over priced but hey… It’s once in a while so why not.
Took my lunch back to work to enjoy eating outside under the trees. Eating and thought the turkey might be a little chewy. Spit out some and it looked like paper. Looked closely and sure enough, there was white paper like what separates portions of deli meat.
What a disappointing meal. I even took a picture of it.
Just ruined a possible option for eating out for me.

Rude customer services. I accidentally called in my order to the wrong store and asked to cancel and reorder. The clerk gave me a very bad attitude and said that it couldn’t be canceled and when I asked her why not she rolled her eyes at me. I didn’t trust that the integrity of the quality of my food would be right so I just didn’t get anything at all walked out

So I love bagels and that’s the reason I’ll never be back! The girl was so impolite and when I got home… Hair on my bagel… And 14 dollars for this?!? I don’t think it’s right!

New owner still has not changed signs for the prices and jacked up prices that are ridiculous

Not a bad spot to grab a quick breakfast in the SCV. During weekend mornings it’s busy, but not Eggplantation busy. Then again, it’s not Eggplantion quality. Still a place to get a good, but not quite great breakfasts. My last trip yielded some fluffy pancakes and potatoes, but I wasn’t exactly polishing off the entire plate like I usually do at another restaurant I mention in this review.
Nice outdoor seating area and plenty of parking.

Two stars, but only because the corned beef hash is so good. Tried to order with fried eggs today… the cashier didn’t know what a fried egg was. Ended up with over medium.
Next time I’ll get it to go. The entire time I was eating my breakfast, the two girls working the front were talking about how much they hate their job, how they contemplate ignoring their alarms at 5 every day, yet they’ve been working here for at least a year (I come often). Management needs to do something about the level of service. I would give this place 4 stars if the service was semi-​decent. It’s good diner food, at a reasonable price.

Came in on Feb 1 2016 ordered a ham sandwich combo with a large drink and a toasted onion bagel and cream cheese and a large drink total came out to just under $ 20 hmmm why so high??? They told me new owner and prices changed but menu wasn’t updated so I told them then you must honor posted prices but they can’t good food but not sure about coming again

They got my order wrong and were rude when I called back to tell them about it. They are over priced and the food isn’t anything special

Fair Food — Fair Service. What’s interesting is the large handwritten signs everywhere instructing all to refrain from using cell phones while at the counter… and yet they’re allowed to answer the landline while we’re halfway into placing our order. Goofy.

Filthy, filthy, filthy place. The girls who prepare the food right there in front of customers also clean tables and empty dirty dishes. Same hands same time from dirty dishes to food preparation. Health department should look at this. There are no segregation of tasks at all.

I found a chicken heart in my matzo soup from Dink’s Deli (you can look at the photos I put up). It was very unexpected and quite nasty. Their service was poor, and the workers were rude. I don’t think I will be going back.

This place deserves ZERO stars if it was an option. The owner or manager hires pathetic employees who are driving customers away. That’s probably why the mall restaurant closed. I’ve been coming here for over ten years and I love getting the matzo ball soup everytime I get a chance. But today was the last straw… I ordered with the family, we wait like 20 minutes. I check on our order with the cashier and she tells us they never got our order… WHAT??? You see us waiting there and not check on your customers. This is my last visit!

Horrible service!
I ordered just three bagels and it took forever. I asked where my order was and they said the first time they burned it and had to redo it. Luckily I checked the bag as I walked out and caught that they gave me the wrong cream cheese too! I went in to exchange it and the girl helping me was rude and unapologetic.
This isn’t the first time I’ve been here. The service is slow every time. It’s just the convenience to come here for a bagel.
They definitely need to work on customer service if they are going to run slow service.

My team at work loves their breakfast burritos. I usually volunteer to place everyone’s order and pickup. It’s back to school in Santa Clarita so there was a good bit of traffic this morning. I decided to call in to place my order. I was placed on hold first thing. Twelve minutes later I was still on hold (and hold means the phone was sitting on the counter next to the register). I arrived and waited in line… still on hold. By the time I got to the register I told the cashier that she could hang up now. She says «Sorry. Lines been out the door all morning, so…» Way wrong answer! If you can’t take a call why answer the phone. Is there a reason the server NOT working the register can’t take a phone order? It’s not like she was busy doing something else as the plates were all backed up in the window. There must be a really short line for these girls’ jobs.
This place has one problem: a people problem. They need more than one cook in the back of house and more than two girls in the front. The food is great, they just need to get serious about the type of service they’re providing.
