I had never been to Della Stella Salon but I bought a spree bird deal for the Brazilian Blowout with Allie at Della Stella. She is Amazing ! I now go to her once a week to get my hair washed and styled. I love grabbing my green ice tea at Starbucks accost the street and heading up the elevator for an hour of relaxation and great conversation. She is also great at firing you in lady min. I can’t believe it took me so long to find a stylist like her !!! Thank you Allie !!!

I highly recommend it. Allie was also able to schedule enough time for me to get the blowout along with trimming my hair and adding some layers.

I have been going with Reyna for years and she recently moved to this salon and I thought this was a beautiful salon. Reyna has been doing hair for years and knows exactly what she is doing. She listens to what you want and how you want your hair. She is very friendly and very attentive to your needs and always accommodating to ones schedule.
She is a great Stylist, I highly recommend you ask for her!

I’ve been going to Heidi at Della Stella for a few years & I have always been very happy. The staff is always professional & accommodating. The atmosphere is great & Heidi is the best. My daughter & I both see Heidi and have always been more than happy. She’s also the best colorist. I recommend this place very highly.

Kerri is the most amazing manicurist! I have had acrylic nails for a total of 8 years and I have never been as satisfied with the way my nails look! They hold up fantastic and her prices are more than fair. I get compliments on my nails all the time! They look very natural. I would recommend her 100x over!

I went to several places trying to find a good manicure/​pedicure. I came across Kerri through a groupon. When I called she was very professional and fit me in to accommodate my work schedule. I’ve been going to Kerri for over a year now and love her work.
Her prices are extremely reasonable and she doesn’t nickel dime you for every extra service like most of the salons I’ve gone to. I did have trouble with gels staying on my nails until I went to see Kerri and she explained to me how not every company that makes gel polish will stay on every person the same, so, I tried OPI and I have not had any trouble with lifting. I also love her customer service, because if I wasn’t satisfied with my nails or if they lifted after a few days, she would gladly repair them or even redo them for no extra charge until we found the right brand that worked for me.
I’m very happy I found Kerri and her technique is great… try her out, you won’t be sorry.

This place is awful. Not customer oriented. Trying to get an appointment is like pulling teeth. They have very limited hours. I would never reccommend this place to the professional person who has to work for a living.

Beautiful salon! Marilyn does amazing nails, she’s sweet, careful, clean and is fun to talk with while she’s getting you all pretty.
Heidi is one of the hair stylist and she does superb color and her cut are always perfect and exactly what you ask for!

Straight to the point– my experience was okay. Not amazing, not bad. I would not pay full price for this service, but I would go again if there was another groupon. Read on for full experience.
I bought a groupon for a gel manicure with Marilyn. I arrived a few minutes late for my appointment and and the receptionist informed me that Marilyn was with another client. I sat and waited for about 10 – 15 minutes past my appointment time until Marilyn was ready. She cut my cuticles dry without any water, lotion or oil on them. It was a little painful and not really what I am used to. But I had a nice conversation with her during my service. She continued to file the tops of my nails and kind of rough them up a bit before applying polish. The gel polish was applied and then she rubbed lotion afterwards. Overall it was okay, I’m not super impressed but I did get what I paid for in a satisfactory service.

I bought a Groupon for a gel manicure and got it done today. The manicurist was very friendly and did a great job. No complaints!

I got my nails done by marilyn because i had a groupon for a gellish. I like the ambience of the place and i LOVED Marilyn therefore the 3 stars. Why not a 5 star? When i get my nails done i love it when my cuticles and any excess skin are cleaned but i felt that Marilyn just filed my nails clean and then put on the gellish.
Marilyn is the most kind and pleasant person to sit with while doing nails but when im able to get my nails done i want it to be perfect with no excess of anything.
I also got my eye lash extensions at this place. It was okay. I fell asleep while she was doing it. It took only 45 minutes. The lashes were minimally put on. Didn’t really feel like it looked full at all. I won’t be going again because it is pretty pricey.

Followed my favorite manicurist here… Stacey. I love that I get to see Stacey and get a great gel manicure in this nice salon tucked into the bank building. I cannot say enough good things about Stacey. She took me fom having awful bitten nails to pretty and shiny nails with the gel manicure. And I can go two weeks between appointments and my nails always look great.

I had never been to Della Stella before this week, but purchased a Spreebird for a Gellish with Marilyn. Let me say, three days later, my nails still look great. Thtey were painted cleanly, everything was done according to procedure, Marilyn was very pleasant, and we even chatted with her son, who stopped by the salon.
I never would have guess such a richly decorated salon was tucked away in that Bank building! I’m not much the mani/​pedi type, so I can’t say I’ll upkeep here (or anywhere), but I felt Marilyn deserved a better review than Amber Y left. It is unfortunate she had a negative experience, but Marilyn DOES know what she is doing. No skin was cut, no bleeding, the polish was applied as correctly, and I’ve also included a photo (any «nail bed» issues are my own :)

First off, let me just emphasize that i currently live in Redlands, CA… which is 100 miles away from Valencia — one way. I am originally from Santa Clarita.
And you know whats funny? I swear to god redlands must have the most salons in a small town ever. seriously, there are salon after salon after salon on state street. its like its the vegas of salons out here. they all basically suck ass because a) they possess more attitude than skill and b) they never ever do what i ask them to do – because they «know better». well, see, i have a problem with that because guess what, its my hair and i know it just fine. we have been acquainted for awhile. All i ask people to do is thin it out because i have alot of hair. like ALOT. you could piece together a shih tzu with the amount of hair that comes off my head if its thinned out to my liking. so at this point i am going off on tangents so allow me to get to the point.
Allie is the most wonderful hair dresser! I have never been disappointed with her work. trust me – if i had an inkling of displeasure, i would not be making the 200 mile round trip. she is amazing. she does exactly what i want, and i leave there swinging my head around because i feel like some sort of breck girl from a shampoo commercial. She is sweet as pie and very easy to talk to –which is really important because who wants to be stuck in a chair with someone that isnt exactly a conversationalist.
You will NOT be disappointed if you go to Allie — i promise!

I just left my 1^st (of what will be many) appointments for a gel polish manicure with Marilyn. Wonderful! Pleasant! Professional! Skilled! I was a bit nervous as a newbie after reading some negative reviews. However, I had a Screamin Daily Deal pre-​paid coupon, so I wanted to use it. The salon is clean, beautiful and fully equipped. The location is a bit tricky at first (2^nd Fl of California Bank bldg). So, be sure you know where you’re going ;-). I have only great things to say about the quality of service, the salon itself and Marilyn as a professional. I will go back and will definitely refer her (& the salon). I have paid MORE for a gel manicure that was shabbily done and I received a much worse overall manicure. (for a higher price). I hope you’ll try Marilyn if you’re considering a new manicurist. She’s great!

I recently bought a screaming daily deal to get a gel manicure with Marilynn. It was the worst experience that I have ever had. She clipped my skin on every single finger on my left hand when trying to cut my cuticles, and one finger on my right. The gel polish was applied and it looked like a 12 year old did it. I had the polish all over my mangled cuticles and on one finger the polish didn’t even cover my nail bed. I have included a picture. So disappointing.
I immediately called the Nail Fourm in Stevenson Ranch and went in to see Sami. She asked if I had painted my nails myself and messed up because it looked that terrible. It took her an hour and a half to fix what Marilynn had done to my nails between soaking off the gel, trying to fix my damaged cuticles and stop the bleeding, filing and painting.
I certainly have learned my lesson and will never return to Della Stella or buy a coupon for a service from someone I don’t already know or trust.

Not sure what the other two posters are on about I drive from Studio City to go to this place and I’m a guy and a builder so you would think a $ 5 special pudding bowl haircut would keep me happy… Well it did at one time well sort of, yes occasionally I would walk away in tears and a haircut that left me looking like a mental patient searching for KMart well not any more those days are over break out the brass band I discovered Della Stella.
I use Heidi and I am happy enough to drive 60 odd miles round trip to have her cut my hair and I am always happy, finding a good hairdresser that takes their time to get your hair perfect is near on impossible to find, I thought perfect haircuts were purely a genetic DNA thing handed down by your ancestors before I found Della Stella.
I get facials here that’s right you heard me facials, the facial-​list always switches it up and adds or try’s different things each time I go; call me Benjamin Button I do believe I am getting younger after each session.
Over all I would recommend this place 110% ignore the couple of negative comments they sound like disgruntled employee’s or more than likely local competitors.
