This is a great coaster on paper. It’s basically a super boomerang that changes things up by being inverted, having a cross layout, and having two vertical spires. Unfortunately, it’s not really worth waiting in line for. The only reason we even bothered was because it will soon be relocated to another Six Flags park. Luckily for us, the wait was only a couple of trains. Also, the over-the-shoulder restraints were much more comfortable than I remembered. Ride it soon if you get the chance. So long Déjà Vu. I hardly knew you. And I won’t really miss you.

To the brainless idiot who ignored all the warnings and all the instruction THANKYOU! I watched your cell phone gently tumble through the air before making a satisfying«Gong» against the metal pole. It ricocheted slightly and then exploded as it hit the concrete. It cost me nothing and cost you dearly. And was one of the highlights of my day. Thank you.

When it’s open, which is most of the time I went there, it’s one of the greatest thrill experiences at the park! The 90 degree vertical face down lifts are a terrifying feeling, the thought of the restraints opening makes the thrill even more better! One of my top 5 at the park!

Is there a way to give NOSTARS?! Omg this ride is horrible! Every time we have been to MM, this ride has been closed(humph, figures) so the one time me and my friends ride it… I have the WORSE experience of my life! It was the day after July 4th, so @ least the lines weren’t that bad. We go straight to the seats in the front(BADIDEA). I sat next to my BFF and our bF’s sat on the edge seats. The ride basically shoots and pulls you like crazy. Half way thru the ride I already starting feeling like crap, no bueno! I couldn’t wait to be off this ride! When we got off, I was already walking like I had a couple drinks in me, wobbling and needing to hold onto the railing to walk down the stairs! At first I was alright, light headed but able to see straight. 5 minutes later, I’m in the ladies room meeting with my breakfast I had ate 2 hours before! Never again will I ride DejaVU! If I can handle Tatsu &Golliath with NOPROBLEM, it’s NOT me… it’s the ride! I hate it!

I had Déjà Vu the other day… I had the feeling I actually rode this ride before. Don’t get me wrong, Déjà Vu is an AMAZING ride. It’s just that out of all the times I have been to Magic Mountain as a season pass holder I think Déjà Vu has been open twice. Right now it is closed because they are putting in a kid coaster next door. The coaster is located in the way far back corner of the park over by Jet Stream and Terminator Salvation. When it is open it is one hell of a ride. It does lose a couple points because it takes forever to get through the line but there is a reason it takes that long. When you finally get to the station you have to put EVERYTHING that is loose on your person in a little locker for the duration of the ride so nothing falls out. It takes them forever to check and recheck everyone and their restraints… that always makes me feel better about the whole experience. The station gates close where the other people are waiting in line… they are gates that you can not even stick your hand through. When the ride is ready to go it pulls you backwards and straight up… wayyyyy up and just lets you hang there. A buzzer sounds and you go zooming back through the station and through a bunch of loops, turns and spins. It is impossible to know just where you are going. You get to the other side and the same thing happens… you are pulled up the same size tower except you are facing the opposite direction. Instead of hanging there you are facing the sky. All of a sudden a buzzer sounds again and the ride and yourself goes the complete opposite way zooming through all those loops, spins and twists. Its is an INTENSE ride. If it was actually open more often it would definitely be a 4 or maybe even a 5 star ride. :0)
