READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO! I give Electrolysis and Laser Center 0 stars and I will just explain what happened. I went here for laser tattoo removal on my back and laser hair removal– bikini and underarm. I went for about 6 treatments of each with not very good results, I stopped going with a tattoo that was only partially lightened. (The removal process was extremely painful and afterwards it would bubble and blister, it was a wound basically a burn. Her post treatment was to buff the area– which you would think would not be good for wound healing. But trusted that she knew what she was doing and I followed instructions). This past weekend I went to a tattoo removal place in Atlanta and they were appalled at what they saw. My tattoo area had hypopigmentation– yes there was not tattoo ink in some places anymore but my skins pigment was also gone and will never come back (basically Electroysis and laser center had burned my tattoo off). There was also raised scarring probably from the bad instructions post care that I may need to see a dermatologist about. The people at this new office said that if she was using the same machine for facial treatments and for tattoo removal and for hair removal, she is using the wrong machine for both removal type treatments. I am frustrated because I put my trust in someone who has been doing this for a long time and I feel I was deceived (I didn’t know a facial laser machine was not good practice for removal procedures– but she should have known that). To use this laser machine for treatments that are not for its intended purposes is dangerous and I needed to warn people about this. What I learned is if you want to have a tattoo removed safely, you need to go to a place that a doctor on staff. My one treatment at this new place has had better results than the 6 treatments combined at the other place, no wounds, no blisters.
