Don’t worry if there’s a line running out the door — they’ll get through it in 10 – 15 minutes TOPS. I broke a 6 month period of vegetarianism today. Moe’s was the reason. I’ll hop back on my dietary concerns tonight, but eating at Moe’s was worth it. Ribs were amazing again. Almost fall off the bone. Sides… amazing. They also have a stout on tap that is arguably better than Guinness. Fairly prices reasonable even without the Vail premium.

Visiting Denver from LA and had a shit experience here. The waitress was totally rude to one of my friends when she got her order wrong. Gave us total attitude. Then the food came back and it was totally cold. My beer tasted like they hadn’t cleaned the two lines in two years. We then got overcharged and it took the manager 15 minutes to straighten out the bill. Ten thumbs down!

Chicken and pulled pork was delicious. Ribs seemed dry… overcooked… hard to eat. Mac and cheese awesome. Corn bread mediocre. Very nice chill casual atmosphere. Inside and outside seating. No beer on tap. But decent selection of cans and bottles.

Excellent walk up order from menu board BBQ joint. The smoked half chicken was gold standard, smoked to perfection, wings were excellent, all of the sides were delicious — Mac & cheese and black eyed peas & okra are standouts. The single disappointment of our meal were the ribs, large bones, not very meaty at all… maybe just a bad batch? I’d go back for the good stuff I mentioned.

Out of all the places I visited in Vail this was honestly my favorite. Best corn bread and Macaroni & cheese that I’ve ever had. Also the banana pudding and turkey with barbecue sauce was excellent. I would love to come here again. Also I want to add that the service was great and Moe’s was such a fair price.

Great location, and most affordable place to eat in Vail with the best flavors and sides. I love that there’s always specials ~ and the jalapeño corn bread is a must-try. It’s a huge plus that it’s a 2 minute walk from the Gondola and really close to Vail’s voted #1 massage place– Sunshine Massage Studio. Go skiing, get some great food, and then the bonus is you’re next to the best massage in town.

We stopped in because it was so close to our hotel and few other places were open — I’m so glad we did! Excellent smoked pork, baked beans, and amazing cornbread. Such reasonable prices, too. We ordered the Family Double Wide for 3 of us, and I t was plenty of food. Our to-go order was ready quickly. We’ll definitely order from here again when we’re in town.

We had a smörgåsbord of things from the menu and each and every thing was delicious. I could eat 4 plates of the cornbread, it is a must try!

The service is extremely bad. The bartender’s were rude, ignorant and short! They were not willing to help and the bartenders were not willing to serve us because they couldn’t take the time to look at our IDs. The brunette bartender with the bangs was the worst!

Best deal in Vail!!! Best bang for your buck. Just don’t go at 3 on a powder day or you’ll wait a while to find a seat!

Loved it! Had the beef brisket sandwich with corn and black eyed peas as sides. More black eyed peas please… they got lost amongst the tomatoes and okra. Really tasty tho! Would go back again for sure especially after reading the reviews of the sweet tater casserole and banana pudding… how did i miss those! Yummy…and decent prices

The food was good, and the atmosphere was very cool. Extremely laid back place. I would definitely recommend anyone who has been skiing and looking for a good«tank filler» before getting back on the mountain to stop by. The only knock is the portion size. I didn’t leave hungry by any stretch of the imagination, but for a BBQ joint, I just expected a little more. Perhaps that’s what you get from a ski resort. Either way, I’d definitely make sure to stop in and check it out for yourself.

My family and I were trying to find the Little Diner but couldn’t find it(didn’t really look that hard since it was around the corner) and found this place on the way. We wanted quick good food that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The smell of BBQ was amazing as we were walking around Lion’s Head and the food itself is pretty good. When you order at the register you sit down and wait for the person in the kitchen to holler your name and you go pick it up. That’s where the utensils and napkins are. Some of the tables were rickety and not very balanced. I had the pulled pork sandwich and 2 sides of Collard greens and Cole-slaw. the pulled pork was pretty juicy and some smoked flavor to it. There was very little sauce to it which wish I had some more on it. I never had Collard greens before so I can’t compare but I was impressed that I liked it. I can only describe it as canned green beans with butter yum! The serving size are sooooo tiny. They are in mini cups that people put dressings or condiments in at restaurants. So it was ok. Not what I expected to be in this expensive town. Looks like I got what I paid for.

I wandered in on a quiet weekday afternoon on a tip from a local. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The ribs had a little too much black pepper but everything else was incredible. It’s one of the best casual dining options in Vail.

I’m from Alabama, and what a surprise it is to find Moe’s in Vail, Colorado! I didn’t dine, however, because I can get this goodness just miles from my house. But, I can vouch for it. Great southern BBQ. For the authentic Alabama experience, order the pulled pork, collard greens, baked beans, and sweet tea. Finish it with the banana pudding. That will be excellent, I guarantee it!

Great value in Vail Awesome BBQ! Sides also delicious. Had Mac and cheese, collard greens, and baked beans to go with chicken and smoked turkey.
