This place is always so delicious. I always get the vegetarian burrito «special» style. The owners/​employees are so friendly and the service is amazing. I can’t complain, and I highly recommend!

So I tried the pork chili verde and quite disappointed. The pork was bland, not seasoned well and the meat was dried out. I had cubes of pork that was hard on the outside when obviously should be moist.
The verde sauce should have a smoked chili pepper flavor from the charring of the tomatillos. In fact I couldn’t taste any of the peppers like Serrano or jalapeño and the tomatillos I mentioned. There should be a spicy and bright taste from the Serrano and jalapeños complementing the smoked tomatillos. The seasoning should be savory and fragrant from the herbs used. I feel like the herbs just weren’t released (the fragrance) during cooking. I had to put the house salsa on the Burrito just to get a range of flavor

Very bad experience with customer service prevented us from eating there. The little woman at the counter needs to learn some better customer service skills for shure. The worst part is I had brought a friend in to show him that the food is good. He won’t be coming back and he didn’t even get to eat there.

Came in on a Week night with my boyfriend we felt like having Mexican and I’ve only been to the one on the other side of town once so we thought we would try this place. We came in and sat at a table and the guy came and handed us cups and let us know that the soda machine is on the other side and to help ourselves and that there were bottles as well if we wanted. I ordered the shrimp burrito special* and my boyfriend ordered the Adobado burrito with the guac on the side. we also ordered chips and salsa. Because they aren’t complimentary like most Mexican places which is fine but I wish that if I was going to pay 2 dollars for chips and salsa the chips would be warm and if not warm that’s fine but not stale. Stale hard chips are no good I ate a few and couldn’t get past it.
The Shrimp burrito had good size prawns but in the giant burrito I had only five. And for only 8 dollars I don’t know why I expected more than that. I would at least cut them up to make it seem like there was some in every bite but other than that it was a good tasting burrito and it was covered in green sauce that had good flavor as well.
The Adobado burrito was giant and very tasty I actually preferred that over mine. The man that waited in us and managed the cash register and brought the food out and took care of everyone else in the packed establishment was outstanding and he made my night. I would come back here and that may be mostly because of the way they treat the customers but to be honest I probably won’t for awhile until after we are off our «new» restaurant taste adventure.

Everytime I come here my food is perfect. Today I ordered a adobada steak burrito it was so delicious! The steak was marinated and it was juicy. Everything about the burrito was perfect. I only have 30 minute lunches and I called ahead and I when I got there it was already done didn’t have to wait. Will definitely be coming back

Was out shopping with family on our way home decided to get a bite to eat. Was not disappointed by the choice. The service was outstanding and never stop made sure everything was going good throughout the entire meal. The food was very flavorful we had three different burritos and some tacos. All were great. The chips, salsa, and guacamole you can tell are handmade daily. Will definitely be coming back in next time we are in town.

Had the prawns and grilled veggies that usually go with the quesadilla but since I’m watching what I’m eating I didn’t get the tortilla and the cheese. It was tasty but was oily … When the waiter told the cook my order he seem like he was mocking my order, which I get it, it might be funny to make a quesadilla with out a tortilla and no cheese but it did not seem professional… Also there is no free refills for your soft drink, the least they can do its warn you.

Always excellent service. Great tasting food. I’ve been a long time customer and my go to meal is the Pollo asado taco. It’s just enough when you don’t feel like having a huge meal. It’s grilled chicken in a flour tortilla with grilled mushrooms, onions topped with cabbage and cotija cheese. Yum! I also recommend the enchiladas rancheras. Pretty much the entire menu is delicious! This restaurant is always clean and lively.

Had a great meal here with family. Great guys working the counter and a very nice atmosphere. Stop by and have something new!

My boss orders from here all the time and I’m never disappointed in my food choices. Portions are large with plenty for left overs. My favorite is the chimichanga

Definitely the best Mexican food in town! Their shrimp burrito is the best! Fresh food and excellent, friendly service! I try to come here every time I come back to Vacaville to visit. I wish they had one in Sacramento!

I’ve been to this Mexican resto a few times but never Unilocaled this place. It’s a rainy Sunday and since the 49ers are getting their butts kicking by the Bengals, I turned the tv off and decided to check this place out. Had the chicken adobado with rice and beans and no cheese. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors were very authentic. Of course I threw some tapatio and habanero hot sauces on it to make it extra spicy. I also was given corn tortillas but didn’t touch them cuz I don’t want to overload on carbs. Rice, beans and tortilla is just too much carbs. My wife had the shrimp enchilada which she liked but didn’t eat the rice and beans. Overall the meal came out to less the $ 25 and a $ 5 tip. I will check out their carne asada plate next time without the tortillas.

My favorite Mexican place in the area! Every time I’ve gone to dine here my experience has always been great. The food is great and I’ll get into that a little later, but what my favorite part of this place is the genuine service. Every time I’ve walked in its usually been the manager, but times it wasn’t, still got very sincere service. They maintain a positive attitude that never fails to make me feel like they appreciate me choosing to eat there over all the other choices, especially in the area. (Everything is in or near this plaza) For small restaurant, they make u feel like family and it’s been like that throughout the years.
The reason why I feel in love with this place is the FISH TACO! It is to this day, still thee best fish tacos I’ve ever had. The fish that they use is packed with flavor. It’s always cooked perfect and sometimes I don’t even want the tortilla, just would rather have the fish. On flour is my preference but it usually defaults to corn.
Other things I’ve tried
*Camaron Burrito — The best way to go about this is to add steak inside for a additional 2 dollars! Worth it! They pack it with a good amount of shrimp so don’t hesitate to order this burrito. In my opinion it’s the best one on the menu.
*Steak Fajitas — A hearty amount of steak, served with beans, rice, cooked with onions and mushrooms and also guac to go along. You always go with tortillas. You can construct mini tacos with all that they serve. Don’t forget the La crema!
*Flautas — Delicious, I love how they are crispy, it’s essential for it to be good. A great app to start with.
*Super Nachos — A half order is seriously enough to stuff two. You must order the streak Nachos and you get all the fix ins with it. All this time I never noticed that you can substitute for fries instead of chips (add $ 1.50)… So you can order steak fries? I know those would be fire because the quality of the the meat here is good. So I’m definitely going to order this next time.
*Chili Relleno — The bomb, you can get it in your burrito, or just get it back itself. If you love a chili Relleno it goes well with just about everything they serve.
*Tacos — They serve carnitas, fish (Best one), shrimp, carne Asada, and chicken. It’s a little pricey but you do get two big tacos.
*They serve fountains drinks here but they have unlimited refills with their Horchata. Can you say Winning?!
Along with inside seating, the have a nice outdoor seating area, so on those sunny Vacaville days, outdoor is a great way to dine. They also have another location in Napa but I’ve never been.
This has been my favorite place to unwind after shopping at the outlets. Everyone that I’ve taken here has left feeling the same way as I do, and that says a lot. Everyone has different taste and preferences for how they like their Mexican food. But we’ve always agree on one thing and that this place is the bomb! Once again I want to say thank you to the very generous owner, the managers and the staff for maintaining their standards on how to treat their customers. It makes eating here always a pleasure and a treat!

Service was friendly. Our food came out fast. The food was delicious. I had the Chilequiles they were bomb.

Drove by, lights on, open sign on. Store sign says open until 9. Walked in and was told they close at 8, now. «Winter hours,» he said. I asked what time I was and he said 8:05. While I can respect a change of hours, there was no posted sign, the lights were all on, the door was unlocked, and the open aign was on. Not a good first impression. Booooo.

I am very pleased with this shopping center restaurant. FIrst and foremost they make everything pretty fresh and to order. (2) The customer service is excellent and very friendly. (3) Do not mistaken this place for fast food, because its cooked to order there is a little wait time, but well worth it! (4) This is not a chain establishment and I am all for supporting small business! (5) I would give this 5 stars if they were open later, however it made sense that they do not because once all of the shops close, the shopping center is pretty dead… Travelers that come through this area after 7 or 8 PM – when the traffic isn’t as hectic — would enjoy this place, but they do not stay open this late.
Bonus: Horchata is part of the unlimited fountain drink station!!! WooHoo!

Service gets a 4 but overall a 3. I liked their food, but I probably won’t come back here for awhile.
When you walk in, menus are on any open table, have a seat and they will come take your order or go to the register to order for take out. Drinks are self served. Check into Unilocal and get a free Unilocalitizer Chips and Salsa. Salsa is pretty spicy and kicks in after. Chips are ok, I’ve had better.
Overall food presentation is nice and food is better than ok but not great. Serving size is decent.
I must compliment the shrimp– very tasty and they do not skimp on the serving. Shrimp is plump too.
We were finished and just kept waiting around for our server to come and give us the check but they never came. We ended up having to go up to the cashier to get it and pay. They are all pretty nice though.

Si deseas ir a un lugar donde la calidad de la comida y el servicios sean excelentes, tienes que ir al restaurante Villa Corona, ademas que es un lugar muy agradable asi como su personal es muy amigable, les recomiendo los tacos, las quesadillas con vegetales, el pozole (aunque no hay todos los dias, si lo tienen no te lo pierdas) las gaviotas que son enchiladas verdes de camarones con queso gratinado en tortillas de harina riquisimas

This is a great little Mexican spot to stop when visiting the Vacaville Outlets or the Nut Tree Plaza. The location is in a part of strip mall of other shops and restaurants but it still holds that authentic cantina feel to the place. There is a great little fenced off patio area with potted plants and umbrellas that is a really nice place to sit and enjoy the outside air while watching people walking by while enjoying your food and listening the Latin music playing through the restaurant’s speaker system.
After walking through the door to the place and looking over the menu I noticed on the restaurant’s Unilocal page that they offered a free order of chips, salsa, and guacamole for checking in and having a minimum purchase of $ 5 (normally $ 2 for just chips and salsa). So I decided to order the two taco plate for $ 6.25 thinking it was kind of overpriced for two tacos but I needed a quick bite to eat so it didn’t matter and I got the free items for checking in as well. I went with the pork soft tacos and I wasn’t disappointed. They were not your average little street tacos, they were much larger and stuffed full to the point that they almost didn’t wrap shut to fold in half. The meat was juicy and flavorful and the topping of lettuce, tomato, and onion were very fresh. My chips were very good as well. I love a Mexican place that has good chips and this was one of those places. You could tell that they fried the chips themselves because they were warm, light, and crispy with that distinct freshly salted flavor. The salsa was excellent with just the right amount of heat and not too mild. You could tell that made that fresh there as well. The guacamole tasted like it was just mashed from the avocado and was slightly chunky with great flavor. I tried the horchata and it really tasted authentic, definitely not a mix.
Food is ordered at a counter and then delivered to your table by a number you place on the edge of your table. The servers were very courteous and after I had ordered my food at the counter they brought it out to me in very little time. For this place not being a full service sit-​down restaurant it definitely had that feel because the server who brought me my food returned with a warm genuine smile several times to check how I was enjoying my food, if I needed anything, and to clear any plates I had finished. I definitely felt very welcome and appreciated while eating my meal.
The service is outstanding, the food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere had me feeling like I was relaxing on the beach in Cabo. All I needed was the Corona and lime! Which, by the way, they do offer that too!

First time came here was fantastic, second time came today to try something different, but the food is just ok.
The fajita salad was way too small for the price and garnished so sparingly with cheese. Served the wrong entrée of chicken adobada which wasn’t very flavorful, the chicken was dry and hard and no flavor.
But the service is friendly and cheerful. They came to offer to change the meal, but we thought maybe not so fair to them since we already ate a quarter .
Not such a satisfactory experience for my Beautiful sunshine Friday Lunch.
