Vacaville Police Department

We had our car broken into a couple weeks ago because I accidentally left it unlocked (because I’m human). They took several items including a spare key to our car, our camera, as well as some other items. Well, my husband ended up seeing the dude who was breaking into cars and followed him right to his house 2 streets over from ours. The police were there in probably less than 2 minutes and long story short, they got our truck keys back as well as making some well deserved arrests. A few days later our neighbor saw our camera being sold on instagram and called us immediately. We called Vacaville PD and they told us that they may not get to it today because it was a property case and they had other things that took priority (totally understandable). A couple hours later they called and said they had our camera!
I am so thankful for for everything they have done. All of the cops we have dealt with have bent over backwards to help us. In my experience they are a great group of people who really care about the community.
So THANK YOU VVPD!!! You guys are killing it!!!

I am someone who has lived and worked in VV for 30+ years. While you want to believe your local pd is looking out for you, I think VV fails miserably. Way too often your patrol officer park their asses looking for the easy tickets to write instead of protecting us. I would like to commend the sleuthing skills it takes to sit out in front of a bar and write a ticket to 3 22 year olds smoking a joint. Meanwhile I constantly have people speeding by me recklessly and if it is not on your «sitting» route, you miss it! Way to go… and no I am not an young kid. I am 50+ who has watched this crappy PD for too long. Many times when they are needed, you cant get them. Useless. Hard to find anything good to say.

You keep the city safe. Thank you officers.

I’ve called the officer that came out to my home and the police department several times today because I wanted to make a statment. At 4:30 I was told an officer would come by today, it is now 9:45 and I have not even recieved a phone call.

The Chief of Police, a former K9 handler, has refused to answer even an email from the family inquiring about Henry’s status and new location.
The highest level of unprofessional and arrogance has been fully displayed by the Vacaville Police Department administrators regarding these simple requests for a beloved dog who’s career was followed closely by his former family and friends.
Now it is understood the replacement Labrador is failing miserably in training and in service.
Unfortunate for the citizens of Vacaville to be protected by an arrogant ego driven police administration. Very sad.

I was stopped in my car on the middle of parker road by a man who claimed to be a police officer. He was yelling at me for throwing my cigarette out of my car. He was not in uniform or in a police car. It was a black SUV. I went to vvpd to speak to a supervisor but no one came out. I know it was wrong to toss the CIG but to stop traffic to yell at someone is inappropriate. I have plenty of law enforcement in my family and have always respected them. I now see why people don’t like the police. I hope vvpd knows they have a real hot head on their force.

This review started with a horrible pizza review, read all the way please. I’d rather arm myself than ever call here again.
We have been ordering at this location for over 10 years. I had a problem with Ty’s (the managers cousin) insulted my mom over nothing. I went down there and handled the issue, I told this «Akram» what for. The next Friday we ordered the manager apologized profusely and admitted he had 14 other complaints in accordance with ours. We always get out pizza delivered. I have never had a problem since i don’t deal with them. We recently changed house phone numbers, the pizza guys in vacaville doesn’t have the new number nor my cell phone. This is what happened today:
So the driver for the pizza said he was here so I came outside. He wasnt here he threatened my life. I called 911 and thought I was joking! So the cop just got here and was a total asshole. He said it was my fault because I cussed at him. I told the driver he was a effing scam and I was calling 911. The asshole cop just said hes on his way to deal with pizza guys of vacaville and not to order from there anymore since it’s a problem. He said it was just some young punk kid. So the fact that he threatened my life doesn’t matter?! But VACAVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT said it was my fault because I cussed at the driver out even though he cussed at me first! I will never be ordering here again, not to mention we got our pizza 2 hours late! DO NOT GO HERE EVER! AND YOUNG WOMEN OR WOMEN OF ANY AGE, PROTECT YOURSELF AND ARM YOURSELF AGAINST THIS DRIVER WHOSE NUMBER IS 773 603 1880! THIS DRIVER LINKED TO THIS PHONE NUMBER IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE IN PRISON!

VPD has it’s ups and downs like everywhere else. These men and women will come through when you need them. I am still experincing vandalism, graffiti and illegal fireworks in my Brown’s Vallay neighborhood which is making my new rescue dog very nervous. I need to call the PD again today to report these crimes. I just don’t want to be the guy who calls the cops all the time, this crap happens every year near High School graduation, my truck mirors you name it.
