Rhett has 22 years experience in the tree care industry and has been doing business as Solano Shade since 1994. Rhett holds an A.S. degree in horticulture and is a graduate of the American Society of Consulting Arborists Academy. He has been a Certified arborist since 1991 and has been ranked among the top five tree climbers in the western states by the International Society of Arboriculture (I.S.A.). He is an active member of the I.S.A. and has served two terms as president of the California Arborists Association.

We used Solano Shade for the first time this week. A local arborist highly recommended them. The guys were very professional, cleaned up really well after trimming our trees, and our trees look wonderful. We’ve used other local tree trimming companies over the years, but Solano Shade is simply the best. We’ll definitely use them again.

We hired Solano Shade Tree to reduce the wind load on a stressed very large oak in our yard and clean the dead branches from another one. They did a terrific job, didn’t damage any of our other plants in the process and our yard was cleaner when they finished than when they started. Their manager, Katherine, is extremely helpful and efficient. Outstanding work.

As a amateur gardener I really appreciate when someone treats my garden like their own. I can’t say enough nice things about these guys. I have used them for over 20 odd years in a home that I can proudly say is surrounded by trees. They just finished pruning a very large Silver Maple and Canary Palm, our pride and joys and they never looked better. Once a few years ago they suggested I cut down a sucker on our fig and I ignored this advise. Today I had them cut it down, should have listened to them !! LOL

The team showed up on time and ready to work. The work was performed to spec, and the cleanup was complete.
