I really love it here. My hair is done by Tondenisha she as well as all of the staff are very friendly and open to listen to how you want your hair. I’ve been coming here for years and my hair has never been over trimmed or over processes. I’ve tried many things from weave to color to relaxer to natural hair. I never leave disappointed.

Almost 6 years later and I still love this place. They’ve expanded and now have a nail salon and spa services… I love this place and unlike most places, this place has the same people who’ve been here for years. The conversation is always funny and they cater to all types of people and hair… black, white, young, old, female and male.

I got my hair done by Vicki and she did my hair on point! The sisters that own the shop are very professional, as a matter of fact everyone in the salon are professional. They have a wonderful environment and very relaxing! Everyone in their shop can do hair!!! I would definitely recommend this Salon to everyone!

I use to come here all the time when I lived in the area. My aunt and cousin go to Joshua and have been for years. This Tuesday my Nana was referred to him by my aunt for a full sewin weave. She came to him with a weave that was less than professional. My Nana is in her late 60s and he gave her THE BEST weave. It is absolutely stunning. I could not stop staring at it. It fit her face beautifully. Our family was and is still is so pleased! She loves it, and will definitely be back. Thank you Joshua for being so amazing. Thank you for making her look and feel beautiful. This salon has always been very professional and friendly. Many blessings to everyone who works here.

It’s so refreshing to see two sisters who have a booming business; and are both mothers/​wives/​and entrepreneurs! Sophie and Ophelia are amazing. The other stylists are really good too. It seems as if they can do any type of hair. I was referred by a friend and I’ve since referred three people as well as had all of my daughters get theirs done too. My Unilocal picture is after Ophelia’s amazing trim and style! Love this place, they go far beyond the typical salon vibe. They keep it lively, very posh and clean, and 100% professional.

I was looking for a place near my sister’s wedding venue to get my hair done. I called a week in advance to see if anyone there could do a natural updo. I was referred to Phili. She was pleasant over the phone and gave me an appointment for 7 am. The week of my appointment, she communicated with me via text to help me select the hair. On the day of my appointment she got me in and out! No waiting, no double booking. My hair turned out great and I received so many complements. Phili was super friendly, attentive to my needs and loves what she does. I highly recommend her.

Love it here! I always come with my sister to get pedicures from Davon and she’s the best! Always friendly and informative. She’s great at listening to what YOU want and helped us with so much. Always nice and neat and professional. You should check out their entire shop!

I had to finally post a review for this salon! I haven’t been here in awhile and I have to say that I missed it! I went there yesterday for my beautiful weave w/​Champagne. She did a great job as usual! From the stylists to the clientele, everyone is friendly and professional. I travel a distance, but it’s well worth it. They have also opened a another area where they do nails and eyelashes! Get your hair RIGHT!

Love coming here! The atmosphere is amazing!!! So everyone here is on their own so they pay rent for there station. Some hair salons are like this one, but some workers are on hater mode and don’t care about who walks in and only worry about their clients. NOT here :) as soon as I walked in I was asked if I would like anything to drink! I get my hair cut with Janea! She’s amazing!!! A shout out to her because it’s A day before Thanksgiving and I called at last minute and she took me in regardless if how busy she was. Definitely found my hair place :)

Professional, Timely, Clean, Hospitable, and Quality Customer Service, that’s what I experience each visit. Philosophie provides the atmosphere that any male or female desires to experience in a hair salon. If you have never experienced this type of service, I highly recommend this establishment. Best multi-​ethnic salon in Solano County. Sophie (owner) is my absolute favorite. her skills are matched by none and she is very consistent which I appreciate.
You most likely have to set an appointment since this salon is usually pretty busy. Great stylist, great experience overall. All hair types come out looking and feeling fierce!

If you want to feel special and pampered this is the salon for you! I am always greeted with professional kindness and treated like family. The most important thing I love about this salon, I never have to wait for service. Thanks Josh! Thirsty of hunger? No problem, whatever treat or nonalcoholic drink you may like is offered frequently. This lovely salon is accented with Asian influence and is only outdone by the well manicured and dressed for success beauticians. And let’s face it, if they look good, they want you to look good too! Having my hair washed with the back drop of soothing music is my favorite, very relaxing. Salon Philosophie feels like home… check it out for yourself!

What a GREAT bunch! I went to the salon looking all kinds of crazy had some messed up job done on my hair from a place in Vallejo that made me look like I had a modified mullet! Went to Philosphopie and got lucky to meet Opheila. She fixed everything and did a great job. Everyone is very friendly and it’s just a great atmosphere. The staff is very informed about hair and products. I am happy I found them.

You can always walk out with a nice fresh weave and be very pleased. It does get very busy close to the weekend, so make your appointment early in the week in the morning, otherwise the hairdresser may be going back and forth to you and another client. Over all love the place and will continue to give them business.
