My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland over heated and blew a head gasket. Because the car is in really good shape for her age I had a very hard decision to make. Scrape the car (wife’s choice) or get it fixed. Alex and his team provided the pluses and minuses about the repair options. Either junk the car, do a head gasket repair, do a valve job, or replace the engine. Alex was very knowledgeable about the options and he was willing to work with me on whatever I decided. I went ahead and bought a re-​manufactured high output V8 engine from Gearhead (AKA Engine) with 3 years, million mile warranty. Alex handled the install of the purchased engine plus the return of the core engine. Super happy with repair and car is running like new again. If you have a Jeep Grand Cherokee this is the place to come. The repair cost was 45% less then the dealer cost quote. Thank you for also providing a loaner car during the repair work. It is really hard to find a good honest Jeep repair shop in the East bay area without getting screwed over in additional cost. Thanks Jimmy.

Brought the SUV for an engine light malfunction and can’t be any happier with their service. Called these guys to see if they can check it out, and was able to get it done on the same day. Very impressed if they only spent 2.5 hours to diagnose, find an EGR valve nearby, and to replace the defected part.

So I purchased my first Ford F-​250 diesel. Didn’t know much about them So I took it to Red Label Automotive. I heard from a customer of theirs how great they are. We were leaving for our property in Nevada on Friday and I brought the truck in Thursday. I paid them to take a look at the truck. They found a lot of stuff needing to be fixed. It also needed a smog legal air cleaner and a smog. They completed it all in one day. Thy all are so professional and love what they do. Thanks Alex and guys (and gal).

This repair store is amazing!!! They are friendly, quick and honest. Alex (the owner) is one of the most honest guys in this business. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. They will fix your vehicle and not overcharge you or try to include repairs that are not needed.

Alex and all of his employees are always super helpful and nice. The customer service is great and everyone seems to love their job! I highly recommend coming here for all of your car needs!

Love Red Label … we have taken both of our Toyota’s there several times. As a business owner myself, you know that perfection does not exist (at least on this earth) but what really matters is when there is a problem how do they respond. This team is awesome in explaining things, dealing with my real or imagined :) problems and get me in and out promptly. I recommend them highly!

These guys are awesome. Had a walk in appointment (they take walk ins from 8−10am) to get a lug nut fixed. I was leaving for a road trip and needed it done right away. They had the part there within 20 minutes of walking in the door and got to work on it right away. I don’t know of any other shop in town that would provide service like that. Never been to this shop before but I will absolutely return and recommend them to anybody who needs service. Great staff, great service, what more could you want!

Great customer service and the waiting area was cool, lots of things to look at. The technicians know what they’re doing.

I went in for an alignment, but found out that the nut from my (camber adjusting) strut bolt had come off. They were kind enough to find me a replacement straight strut bolt and install it along with the alignment for no additional charge! I was able to get out of there in about 2.5 hours despite the setback.

Alex, and the rest of his employees love what they do. They are very knowledgeable of the automobiles they work on. They do not believe in just putting Parts in cars to see if that’s the fix. Instead they take the time to figure out what’s wrong to save you money and time.

Great place for automotive repair. Friendly staff and clearly know what they are doing. Had a few repairs done, needless to say customer service and pricing was fantastic definitely would recommend to all.

This place used to be great. My husband brought his Camry here because it keeps overheating. We picked it up yesterday and woke up this morning to find a large puddle of radiator fluid in the street. When my husband popped the hood, he found tools that were left inside and fluid pouring out from the bottom of the radiator. He took it back in today, and discovered the gasket they used was the wrong size. Not feeling a large amount of faith for these guys, this is unbelievably careless. Now my husband gets to spend another day waiting for his car to be repaired.

My car died and I had someone recommend Alex from Red Label Auto. It was my computer and my car was completely dead, so Alex had it towed to the dealership and worked with them not to charge me an arm and a leg! Thank you Alex, I will recommend you to everyone I know

The Red Label team was great! I had gone to two other shops who said they would help me find out the problem with my Chrysler, but all these people did was guess, without looking! Red Label actually examined my car up to see what was ACTUALLY wrong with it, free of charge. They also quoted me a very decent price to fix it! When I brought it in to be worked on, they were really accommodating with my schedule! Very friendly and proficient service!

Hands down one of the best well rounded shops around the area. This is coming from an Aircraft Mechanic that also works his own cars. I had them replace my 1997 F350 7.3 clutch and I was impress in the overall service. They are fast and have low labor rates with dealership quality. I recommend Red Label Automotive and Diesel to anyone that expects high quality service.

This place is a hidden treasure. Was referred here my discount tire when I had a seized lug nut and have been bringing my diesel and car in for service here since. The owner Alex and staff/​mechanics are very friendly and extremely knowledgable, they have fair prices and military discounts, and they have earned my trust working on my vehicles. Cody works on my truck and he is always very friendly and always keeps me updated about the repair status and even shows me the problem directly on my vehicle, not just talking. I would recommend them to anyone with any vehicle looking for a good place to get their vehicle serviced.

Thank you all for the great work and outstanding customer service. Red Label installed a front leveling kit, complete airbags system to include an air compressor, train horn, air tank and welded an air hose connection to my bumper. Everything was all neatly tucked underneath my 2012 F-​350 FX4.

Last year I brought my work van to Red Label Automotive and had some front end suspension work handled. Alex and his team where knowledgable about what needed to be done and got it done fast. They even went the extra mile and made sure another issue was resolved before I left the shop. I can’t say enough about what a great experience I have had with Red Label, In fact I’m back here today to get some more work done by this top notch team. The best. That is all that leaves the shop. From the lovely Ashley to the helpful Alex and his extremely knowledgeable Dodge-​dude Jeff it was the best experience with a mechanic I could have asked for.
My 2002 Dodge 24v Cummins had an oil leak coming from a valve cover. It was a slow leak and I had been babying the truck for a while, putting off the maintenance until I could get home to Arizona to deal with it. After having my oil changed at another location I developed a significant «leak». That is where Alex and crew stepped in. I dropped the truck off with them on a Friday afternoon and they had it ready on the following Monday. Jeff knew exactly what the problem was before I left and even performed some mitigation-​services, saving me no-​doubt future trouble. If every business was as efficient and honest as Red Label the world would be a better place.
Labor prices were below MANY other shops in the area and the wealth of knowledge and skill is worth every penny. If you have any issue with the labor charge I would suggest you take your vehicle to another mechanic, get screwed (metaphorically) around on what the real issues are with your vehicle, and then take it over to Red Label and let them fix the issue.
Best experience in 34 years. LADIES, DO NOT FEAR THIS MECHANIC!!!
