Stephen Montagna handled my divorce for me. He was great– took care of everything, gave me sound advice and had good follow through. The process was relatively easy.

I don’t usually write reviews, and I don’t like lawyers, I think they have forgotten that people are customers and have hijacked society taking hard working people’s wages and turning them against one another. I think the U. S attorney is the central reason for the degradation of U.S. Society and the breakdown of the family unit. That being said after many incompetent attorneys in my stepsons custody case we finally came across Stephen. I can’t speak for the whole firm as I have not dealt with them. But he has been professional, well prepared prompt and very centered on the needs and concerns of my wife and I the client. I am sorry to hear so many others having problems with this firm. Stephen has been very effective with us and has not wasted our time with issues and «projects» that result in no returns for our case. I am very pleased with this attorney and would recommend him to others who are tired of attorneys wasting their time and money with strategies leading nowhere but to higher invoices.

Things are moving along. I have called this office 6 times in a year. Time sensitive material. I believe the practice to be fair, I also believe that these lawyers need to take their staff/​reps asside and give them a good old fashioned course on how to talk to people. Snarky and under ambitious. Lots back pedaling too. I feel like I am talking to my 8 year old child. Also if you cannot return phone calls in a timely matter, with time sensitive material, Please let you bosses know you are overloaded or just cant handle the pressure. I too am a patient and courteous person, but the front office is getting to me. Attorneys: Holy Steil, a wonderful program for customer service. I kid you not! Made a huge difference in our business, HUGE!

I went to Hodson to get help with my Child Support Modification. Instead of telling my beforehand that my case was not something they can handle, after asking me a brief on my case they set a consult up for a rate of $ 150. The attorney did not call me to reschedule my appointment after I took the time off to meet with him (1 pm appt.). He instead allowed me to arrive at my scheduled appt time only for the receptionist to tell me he was in court (probably having a long lunch with his lover) and would not be able to arrive for about an hour more. There are no emergency or surprise court days so don’t tell me someone could not have called prior to change times or days.
Then I was asked to pay prior to the meeting. After being called back for a meeting with Hodson he asked my income status at the end. Once he figured I didnt make enough to be one of his clients and he could not milk me, he stated to me that he could not assist me legally. Though I was willing and able to pay my legal fees and that would not have been a problem.
$ 150. Later just to walk in and be told my child support case he can’t do. Robbed! Tell me that when I inquire if they can help and why can’t a family law attorney do this isn’t that what they do? Fishy.

I would not give this agency a star however, that option was not available. After reading the reviews I have to confirm what has been posted. Albeit compensation for a workers comp case maybe minimal its better than not having any compensation because of not having clients. After meeting with the attorney I agreed to have him represent me. Once cleared to return to work I contacted the attorney, only to have to deal with Irma, his assistant. After leaving countless messages for Irma, and no return calls, I decided I would leave a message for my attorney making it very clear that I did not want to speak to anyone other than my attorney. I received a call from Irma. I made it very clear that I did not want to speak to her as she was very rude. I informed her that I would look for another attorney if I had to deal with her the duration of my case, at which time I was told to go ahead and find another attorney. I hung up on her and immediately contacted a co-​worker that provided me with the name and number of my current attorney. The following day Irma attempted to contact me, and was very apologetic stating she recently had a death in the family. Irma must deal with death on a daily bases, as her attitude displays a person that is miserable & hateful. I have informed as many co-​workers, especially the one that recommended them, not to use this lawfirm as they are incompetent.

I retained the services of Mr Hodson for my divorce about 8 years ago. I was very happy with the professionalism and knowledge of Mr. Hodson as well as his assistant. His assistant was extremely organized and on top of things. I was very pleased with the service and counsel I was provided here.

This law office is HORRIBLE! They never return your calls! The paralegals & receptionists are rude! I My paralegal told me that I could not make an appointment w/​my attorney until a authorization for a doctors appointment was received. I told her that I was paying them to take care of my case & she told me I was not paying them. So I guess that means they take on cases for free then! I also scheduled an appointment to meet w/​my attorney 1 month in advance & after I got there & waited 20 min to be seen, the rude receptionist told me they were running late & my appointment needed tho be rescheduled. BEWARE! They are very unprofessional & will screw up your case. They do not realize that it is your life they are messing with.

I should have searched for the reviews of this law office because I would have never hired these people! I seen the lawyer once since our free consultation. I hired them in Jan and haven’t heard from them in 4 months. I left plenty of messages and no returned phone calls. I drove up to the office and asked to see my file and to see the status and they haven’t done anything since march when they sent a letter to workman’s comp for my paperwork. Before I hired the lawyer I was told that I should be receiving Disability Insurance since I lost my job instead of Unemployment. I called the lawyer back before I stopped my unemployment to make sure I am ok to receive disability insurance because I didn’t want to be turned down and have no income to take care of my kids and myself. The lawyer secretary assured me there would be no problem. A month later after filing a claim with disability I get denied. I asked the lawyer to call me cause now I have no income and cant pay my rent or take care of my kids. I have bills left and right and can’t pay none of them. I get no phone call back. This lawyer is about to have me and my two kids in the street by next week cause Its been a month since I paid any of my bills. Im about to fire him and find another workman’s comp lawyer and sue this lawyer for legal misrepresentation. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE LAZY AND DON’T KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE DOING!

Would not recommend for workers comp cases and they will never return your call. After talking to several people in the office had the same experience that I have. Worse Workers Comp Attorneys on the planet. Read the previous comments. Run!!!

Absolutely nearly impossible to ever speak to my attorney or ever receive advice. I usually get transferred to Elia’s voicemail where she generally never returns my calls. Very frustrating when you need advice on issues as they arise. I retained services for Worker’s Comp but feel that it has been a complete waste. Recommend finding a different office if you want any input or help along the way with your case.

Would not recommend them for divorce attorney. They were not helpful and did not feel I was represented at all. Several other people I know had the same experience.
