As a company, I really like them; but as for a bank location, they suck! There’s this one bank teller with a terrible attitude and she looks so angry to be here, they also never have enough tellers working.
Whenever you need to open an account or speak to the ladies in the office, expect to wait 30min+ because I’ve never had a shorter wait, even when I can see that there’s a lady or two not helping anyone.

Horrible customer service at this branch. I drove an hour in traffic to get here today before closing only to be very rudely told that their system was down all day and that I was out of luck until their system is back up. (MAYBE tomorrow) Not only was the teller extremely unprofessional she was also very rude, and mind you I’m a very patient and friendly person especially with businesses. There’s no reason to talk to your customers in a condescending way. I will be considering a new bank.

They have the most incompetent service I’ve ever dealt with. They give me wrong information all the time, their staff appears to be clueless. I’ve had to mail several forms to them, repeatedly because they don’t know what they are doing. Their online services are atrocious and doing anything that doesn’t deal with them taking your money is worse than being dragged against a bed of nails!
They might as well not even suggest that they can do online banking, they can’t. Don’t expect a competent banking system with this credit union.

I love this credit union! Sometimes there’s a line at some of the smaller locations, but they’re usually very friendly and accommodating. Today I came in to get a cashiers check to return to deposit that a tenant had paid for a house I rented. They were able to take care of all of my needs in a timely manner, and I will deftly be back when ever I visit Vacaville.

I bank with Golden1 CU because they are a large credit union throughout the state of California and I can usually find one anywhere I go. The tellers are pretty efficient, not the nicest people, but efficient nonetheless – quick in and out. The banking is free and I get all the perks I need – mobile banking, direct deposit, and free checking. That is all I really want in a bank and I have been pleased here.
I did ding a star because when there is a line, the bank does a really poor job of ensuring customers are acknowledged in line. A simple «that you for your patience, we will be right with you» goes a long way. Plus there is a manger there, who sulks around the place and ignore customers in line. I never understand why she doesn’t open a window. I used to work at a bank and we would never have acted that way. Weird!

ONE TELLER?! REALLY?! Every time I go there’s a whole branch full of employees sitting at their desks while only ONE teller helps customers! My time is valuable to me. I highly recommend the great customer service at Travis Credit Union!
