Breastfeeding assistance is provided in the comfort of mom’s own home by an experienced professional. Issues such as weight gain or loss, painful latch, sore nipples, induced lactation, co-​breastfeeding, making sure baby is getting enough to eat, pain in the breasts during or after nursing, twins, getting baby to latch to the breast, increasing milk supply, chest feeding, and much more, can be addressed during the consult. Lactation consult sessions are offered at extremely affordable prices. In addition, respectful, sensitive and professional services are provided to LGTB families and adoptive parents.

History

Established in 2013.

I have practiced as a lactation specialist in various California hospital and outpatient settings since 2011. In these settings I have worked with other care providers such as physicians, nurses, and other lactation consultants in order to provide optimal breastfeeding support to hundreds of breastfeeding patients. In 2013, I moved to Connecticut to pursue a master’s degree in nursing at Yale, and began providing in-​home lactation consultation to Connecticut families. I have a deep passion for helping breastfeeding parents and their babies.

Business Owner

I am a mother, a student, and an expert in the science of human lactation and the art of infant breastfeeding. My breastfeeding research has been published in the Journal of Clinical Lactation. I expect to receive a Master’s degree in nursing from Yale University in 2016, at which time I will sit for the board examination to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Midwife. My interests include crafting, poetry, LGBT healthcare, social justice, and research.
