Bark Avenue Play & Stay Utica

Our dog Tivo is as shy & timid as they come. I didn’t think he’d be happy @ any daycare. The staff is awesome with him & he gets SOOO much play time here that he gets excited when he gets to go to «school». Thank you Bark Avenue & staff! I wouldn’t take him anywhere else.

Bark Avenue ended up being a great choice for our two dogs — we have small dogs
8 pound pomeranians) at are social, and the fact that Bark Ave separates their social groups into big & little meant that they were able to play hard and I wouldn’t worry about them getting accidentally injured. The play areas have cloud based webcams that they have an app for their customers to view, I was able to check in several times on my vacation to see that they were up and about. Bark Ave was also more affordable than places like camp bow wow while offering the same type of services (group play, camera check ins, photos posted daily)
Overall great quality care and a good price, 5 stars. Will definitely be taking out pups here next vaca!

This place is ok– Good with dogs.

Best place ever. If you want your dog to play all day with other dogs, this is the place to go. They don’t cage your dog for hours. Only for lunch/​down time, which is 1 hour. My pup comes home happy and exhausted. She runs right in and goes to the door to go play!

Thought this was a nice place, however we took our pup here for a weekend because we had an out of town wedding. Little did we know that he would come home with a huge skin infection! Beware. The staff can appear friendly but they are not attentive to their dogs! Now our poor boy is suffering in pain and of course we are stuck with the vet bills.

The staff here is great. They go out of their way to answer any and all questions you may have. They post pictures and video all day long of the dogs that are there. This is great because it lets you know your puppy is having a good time. They also have live video you can watch from your phone. They are open early and close late so you can drop off and pick up your dog before and after work without worries. They provide pawgress reports of how your dog did. I would highly recommend here to anyone with a dog!

Very attentive staff and as others’ have mention obvious animal lovers. We took our pet there recently for a 5 day stay and they were great. We weren’t sure if our dog would «play well with others» but the staff was reassuring on the tour and the other pets seemed quite content so we gave it a try and it all worked out great. Will be a returning customer. Our pet got a free bath with her stay and she got her nails trimmed (nice going on this). Highly recommend.

They definitely are true animal lovers. My baby is so happy when we pull in the parking lot he starts pacing in the car. I have tried other daycares and so far this one is my favorite. I only give 4 stars because I have never seen them throw a ball which is something my dog loves and something I would like to see them do more of. Other than that I have no complaints.

Love these people! Everybody is a dog lover, and when I took my two crazies there, they wrote up «Pawgress Reports» for them that were so cute! They are always posting pictures on their website/​Facebook, and all the pups get a lot of playtime. My furbabies come home exhausted after a nice weekend of play, and mom gets to have some peace for… a little bit. :) You can trust them with your pets. :)

We take our Morkie (Mindy) to Bark Avenue for daycare. She was very scared of other dogs when we first took her there due to a scary incident at a dog park. After a few times at Bark Avenue she runs right in wanting to play with everyone, furry ones especially. She has made some great doggie friends there and I love seeing pictures of her playing with her friends. The staff at Bark Avenue have a true love for dogs and it shows through how they greet not only our little family members but also us doggie owners. I am so glad I choose Bark Avenue over other facilities. After touring a few facilities one thing I truly like is Bark Avenues natural outdoor area which is very large and allows a great running area for the bigger dogs also. The indoor area is also seperated so that the big dogs and little dogs have there own area to play in safely if they are not outside. Mindy comes home after a day or half day exhausted but a good exhausted!!!
Amazing place and staff!!!

I have been taking my dog here for a few weeks now and she loves it. We took our dog and cat for boarding with them one weekend and I was so happy with the service and the staff was fantastic. I don’t worry when I drop our dog off to them for daycare, I know she is in good hands. They are always so friendly. You should absolutely take your pet here if your looking for a daycare or boarding place.

Awesome place! My dogs love it here. Every dog gets go much personal attention and play time.
