History

Established in 1991.

Laser Resources has been in business for over 20 years and is a locally-​owned Iowa company. Throughout our years in business, we have focused on providing our customers with the best products, services, and support combined with the flexibility and superior customer service of a locally-​owned company.

Laser Resources was founded in 1991 as a company focusing on Xerox solutions, and today we’ve expanded to include Pitney Bowes, Konica Minolta, Toshiba, Lexmark, Oce, and HP. We are proud to bring these global industry leaders to our customers right here in central Iowa.

As LRI has expanded, we have branched out from our production-​print heritage into the areas of mailing solutions, workgroup print, desktop print, and managed print services. Most recently, we have added expert color consultation services and managed IT services for our customers.

We recently earned PROS Elite certification as one of the top 100 dealers in the entire country, and the only company awarded in Iowa.

Business Owner

Bob is President and CEO of Laser Resources. After graduating from Iowa State University in 1984, he began his career at Xerox Corporation where his responsibilities included selling and providing customer support for Xerox DocuTech & DocuPrint Production Printing Systems. After a successful 8-​year career at Xerox, Bob and two partners left Xerox to start Laser Resources, which has been in business since 1991. During that time, Laser Resources has grown to establish itself as a leader in the industry and has earned a reputation for providing excellent printing systems products, outstanding maintenance services & technical support, and innovative document workflow solutions. In fact, Laser Resources was recently recognized as one of the nation’s Elite Dealers.
