Crestview Park

The website hypes the ‘Asian pavilion’ here, but a red bridge and a sloping gazebo do not an Asian-​fiesta make. There’s some decent grassy space, and some new playground equipment – essential when you’re a grad student avoiding work by having a Labor Day picnic – but I believe Crestview must be ‘Asian’ for ‘underwhelming’ or ‘Silly Californians had unrealistic Expectations’.
Clearly, I’m not a linguist.
