Absolutely the worst experience ever! If Lowe’s sends B&m to do any work-​related as fast as you can and request a different installer. Mark is awful, doesn’t take any responsibility for take the awful install job and mistakes made. We were having carpet and vinyl planks installed and it has been a nightmare. First off they installed the wrong carpet. We ordered one carpet for the stairs and hallway and a different one for the bedroom. They installed the carpet on the stairs and then the hallway they installed the same as the bedroom. Who gets different carpet on the stairs and the hallway? Wouldn’t they question that? Or wouldn’t they wonder why there was so much carpet leftover??? They came back and did a crappy install. As for the vinyl planks, I have pictures showing how terrible it was done — gaps all over, cut uneven and they were supposed to level the floors and never did. Lowe’s is trying to get them to fix it but that’s it. So far, they have been back FOUR times to fix the vinyl planks. Oh, and they were supposed to install transition pieces and never did. They never even brought them on the job and had to come back with them. Mark is arrogant and a complete piece of work. Never once did he apologize, in fact he kept arguing with us. He was mad because he wasnt going to get paid from lowes until the job was complete. well, if he would have done a good job to begin with, that would not be an issue and quite honestly, if you do an awful install job then you shouldnt be paid for it. What a terrible way to do business.

Had a horrible experience with this company. I recently went to Lowes in East Rutherford to have a new tile floor installed and B&M Carpeting was going to be the installer. The process went smoothly until we paid Lowes $ 1200 for the work and we were told B&M would contact us right away to set up an installation date because they don’t get paid until the work is done. Well one week went by and B&M did not call to set up a date so my husband had to reach out to them to schedule an appointment. That was the first red flag. My husband was given an installation date for the week later and they were scheduled to start between 9am and 10am on that date. Flash forward to that date. We get a phone call at 8:45 that morning from a B&M employee named Jeremy and he told my husband one of their trucks broke down and the installers would be at our house at 12pm. Well by 4pm no one showed up and we never received a phone call! My husband called Jeremy at 4pm and told him no one showed up and Jeremy then tells my husband the installers couldn’t make it that day and «maybe» they could reschedule for the following week. Well we immediately went to Lowes and received a full refund for the labor and materials. Also Lowes is aware of our awful experience with this company. My husband and I took time off of work to sit in our home all day for no one to show up and never received a courtesy phone call saying no one would show up! I guess they either didn’t want the business because it wasn’t an expensive job or they don’t have the man power to take on these jobs from Lowes. If anyone reads this and they want to get home improvement work done by Lowes, please run if they tell you the contractor is B&M Carpeting!
