History

Established in 2001.

ALTRO is a women owned business. The owner is a Professional Project Manager who has successfully implemented over 30 large complex projects of which several included commercial cleaning. The owner founded this cleaning business with the help of relatives who had extensive careers in the facility maintenance industry. With the combined knowledge and experience in management and maintenance ALTRO was formed to service the local areas including Maryland, D.C. and Northern Virginia. ALTRO has more than 20 employees who has over 100 years of combined experience. Our turnover rate is far below industry average because our cleaning and maintenance employees are made to feel like they are owners. We service a broad range of facilities including Offices, Condos/​Apartment Complex, Retail Stores, Banks etc. The Upper Marlboro Award Program has chosen ALTRO Janitorial Services LLC for the 2013 Upper Marlboro Awards in the Carpet Cleaners classification.

Business Owner

Alice is an accomplished PMP. She has over 15 years of experience in implementing change. She has a BS in Business Management and a Master’s certificate in Information Technology Project Management from George Washington University. Alice has strong management and relationship building skills. She is also well versed in contract management and facilities & logistics maintenance. Alice founded and manages ALTRO Janitorial & Maintenance Services. She has successfully brought the vision of the company to life. She has established and maintains business relationships with more than 22 clients in the past 8 years.
