Union Bank

I’ve been coming to this Union Bank location, off and on, for over six years now (I mean, it’s not like I have a LOT of reasons to go INTO the bank these days with digital access/​deposits/​etc.).
First off, just coming into this bank makes me feel secure. Rather than having a bored, lazy, uncaring security guard at the door all day, they have this pretty cool security system: You open the first door, it closes behind you, a metal detector scans you, the door in front of you opens, allowing access to the bank, and won’t allow another person inside until you are in the bank and the second door shuts behind you. Personally, I love this feature.
Once in the bank, you’ll always get a «hello» or some similar type of welcoming message (around the holidays, they’ll give you a «Happy Holidays» and such). They also, always tastefully decorate the bank counters during the various holidays/​seasons of the year.
Being the coffee lover I am, I love the fact that they’ve always got a warm supply of coffee in the corner of the branch. It isn’t the BEST tasting, but it does the trick when you gotta stop into the bank before taking care of a bunch of other errands for the day.
I typically don’t stop in for deposits or withdraws. I mostly stop in the add/​change account beneficiaries, access to accounts or go over various account services such as IRA accounts, mortgage accounts, etc. Every time I do, the staff assisting me is always very helpful and always follows up/​through with things.

I usually dread going to the bank, but I LOVE coming here! The staff is so friendly, I’m always greeted with a smile and they all know me by name. No matter which teller I go to, we consistently have good conversations.

No lines and great service!

This review is long over due, but the entire team at this bank is simply amazing! I really love how they treat all of their customers like family. I also enjoy the short lines, cold A/​C running, and hand sanitizing station.
Every one is so sweet to me and my baby when we stop in! You guys are really great, keep up the great customer service!

horrible customer service. My sister’s ATM card had gotten stuck in the ATM machine just after closing. she knocked on the door because people were still inside and the employees would not give her 10 seconds to let her know what she could do to get it out. I mean just out of human decency one of the employees could have taken a moment to let my sister know that she would have to return tomorrow and not to worry her card and info would be fine, but the didn’t they just ignored her and left her there to worry that her card and money may be stolen. Extremely disappointed in this branch…
