Delicious food! This is truly a gem in a hole type of place. Do not let the outside fool you the food is yummy.

Came here today to get some dinner to go. I ordered the chicken kebab plate as recommended by the chef. I waited about 10 minutes which is not bad at all. The kabob was very juicy and flavorful! I also really enjoyed the hummus that came with the plate. I’ll definitely be back to try other items!

Amazing hidden treasure. If you want the best mediterranean food this is the place to go. My girlfriend and I always get the Chicken Kabob plate. The Chicken pulls apart beautifully and is always perfectly cooked. Their Hummus is amazing as well. My entire family loves coming here. I had called in my order came to pay and pick it up, with very little wait.

I got the beef Shawarma plate. I was given sliced skirt steak, not shawarma. It was tough and had no seasoning. Will not go back.

Pass this restaurant a lot while doing errands. The husband and I love Mediterranean food and I finally decided to stop by to pick up some dinner. It’s a nice little place. The owners were pretty nice too. Ordered one beef kabob plate and one chicken kabob plate. Price for both are pretty reasonable, and the food was pretty good too. Saw they also have a lunch special for $ 4.99 so I will definitely come back again.

What a great place. I’ve been around here several times, and never have I seen this hidden gem. It’s a family-owned business. The owner is very kind. I loved the lamb kabob. I can’t wait to come back

Loved their food… A client of mine recommend this place to me and I tried the kabobs, both steak and chicken and they were awesome.. I’m a really picky eater and only eat this stuff at my boyfriends buddy’s restaurant but it’s in Pasadena so I’m pretty excited I found a place close to home with the same great food!!!

I immensely enjoy Greek, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Persian types of food. While my husband and I were dating, he pretended to like this food too, and we dined at many an establishment. After we were married, turns out it’s not his cup of tea, or coffee, or wine(will the real slim shady please stand up?! J/k hon if you’re reading this.) So, needless to say, I was thrilled when I was given the green light to chose Tanya’s for lunch. It’s located in another non descript strip mall along Foothill Blvd., in a very modest, sparsely furnished, store front. Cool Lebanese(?) tunes played in the background, giving me the unusual urge to belly dance when I had not even had any alcohol. We ordered some appetizers(falafel and fried kibbeh) and two lunch specials, Kufta and Chicken Shawarmah, quite the bargain at $ 4.99 each. Lunch special comes with rice, pita, and choice of salad or humus. I enjoyed my food and was very satisfied. My mister said it was ok, but would have liked more kuftah on the plate. Great! That’s an easy fix – dinner plate next time! And there will be a next time! Proprietors are very nice, checked on us often. It was very reminiscent of eating at a Tio or Tia’s home. How do you say that in Lebanese? I do not know. Pour me some wine and cue the belly dance music, and I just might figure it out.

I was craving Lebanese so thought I’d try this place out. I had the chicken shawarma pita sandwich. It was okay, I’ve had better. I’ll try other places in the area before going back

Nice food, nice service. I’m not able to base my review on any of their meat dishes, but I’d like to recommend this place for vegetarians. The prices are reasonable and the falafel dishes are fresh and homemade tasting. Also, check out the baklava. It’s delicious – and vegan! – with cashews and rose flavor.

A hidden gem. It’s a little mom and pop shop. The food is amazing. I ordered the Kuftah sandwich it was so healthy and filling. It had mint, lettuce, pickled beets, and hummus with a ground beef skewer, it was very satisfying. Will be back for more

Five stars easy. The prices are fair and the quality is really good. Home style. The restaurant is small, but the service is friendly and welcoming. I had the chicken kabob plate($ 8) and the portions were filling. The owners were on site. Recommended to try. A+

I had the lamb shank with rice, salad, hummus, and bread. I only liked the rice. I was very disappointed. Lamb was bland wih peppery taste. Not enough seasoning. Hummus and bread were tasteless. Salad was good but I prefer more dressing on my salad. Courteous staff but will not return. Also, had asked about other dishes but they were out of the products. Not a good thing for a restaurant.

I have been aching for Lebanese food since I left Melbourne so I was ecstatic when I stumbled upon this place. Kicked it all off with wara aineb(vine leaves) tabouli and some cucumber dip with bread and garlic dip. What is most pleasing is that everything is made extremely fresh. Grape leaves were yum tabouli was delicious and the bread was Lebanese bread not that Greek pita places always try to pass off, mmmmmmm! Cucumber dip is fresh with nice large chunks of cucumber and goes great with garlic. Next came lamb kabob, very, very delicious. My plate came with bug chunks of lamb, rice salad AND hummus. We ordered so much good food, everything was prepared and served in large amounts and every single thing was amazing. We had to wait for the falafel because he makes it FRESH every day and it was out of this world. Quite possible best falafel I have ever had, still hot in the middle… Oh my. My wife and I are seriously considering moving out here to be close to this place. I highly recommend eating here. Everything was so tasty and fresh I would give six stars if Unilocal allowed. The man was so nice he even gave me some special rice that he makes with his lamb shanks it was outstanding and he didn’t even charge me. The prices were great food was authentic and on point to the max, like being in Beirut or Tripoli. Amazing. Chokran!

Well, I have been craving Lebanese food for quite some time now and decided to try this place out since my daughter and I were in the area. When we drive up to the place it was in a deserted strip mall and we weren’t sure if we should try the place out our try the Indian restaurant located in the same lot, but the little place said it was open and supported an «A» health department rating, so in we went. We were the the only ones in there… Hmmm. We started off with baba ganoush, grape leaves, and hummus… flavorful and plenty. I’ve had better grape leaves, but I wanted some anyway— 5 for $ 4. All served with a basket if warm pita. My daughter ordered the falafel plate and I ordered the beef kufta plate. My daughter was in heaven! The falafel was crisp and and tasty and came with a scoop of hummus and salad. The kufta plate came with two pieces of kufta on a bed of rice, hummus and salad which was filling and satisfied my craving. I also ordered fried kibbeh and a chicken shawarma sandwich to go which my sister said was awesome as well. I had a coupon from Entertainment book which I was going to use, but was informed that the business recently changed owners. But he took it anyway and gave me a discount. All in all, I paid $ 36. Not bad at all. The customer service couldn’t have been better… one guy who greeted, waited and served us was very polite and attentive. This place is worth a try!
