SCT Tint Shop

Took my 2015 Subaru WRX to get a tint. Ended up going with the Hüper Optik all the way around. Super good people. Really friendly, really good work. I was going to go to some other shop, and to get the tint, I’m really glad I didn’t. They were able to get me in fast, do good work, and send me back on my way. I’m definitely coming back to get my tail lights done and a roof wrap. Highly recommend.

This was my first time getting my windows tinted and I wanted to find the best quality work with a reasonable price. These guys are it! They did an AWESOME job on my car. I can’t express how happy I am. Prices are great, great customer service, & I was out in a little over a hour. I definitely will be coming back here with my next car. There’s no games, scams, or overcharging here. Thanks guys! I’ll definitely be bringing my next car here.

I love this place I brought my tundra here and they do an excellent job and then they moved to this location so I just brought my 16 Silverado and had them outfit it with the Huper Optik extreme. This place does a nice professional job and takes there time to get the job done right. I will bring all my cars to them because I trust them to do the job right.

Great service and fast. They came to my work and only took 1.5 hours. Tint job came out great. I went with 5% rear and 18% front. Great people.

Heck YEAH! My tint started peeling on the passenger side window of my Camaro. Called up a Unilocal 5-​Star guy in my area and I’m thinking he saw his reviews cause he was a total snob. I get that it’s hard to give an estimate over the phone, but I need to have some idea of what to expect before I make an appointment and drive out to you. After the first dude talked to me like I was an idiot for even asking, I said no thanks and called SCT. They were FANTASTIC! Friendly over the phone, he heard my description and gave me an immediate estimate, drove to my house two hours later, and in less than an hour removed and replaced it all from my driveway. Then charged me the exact price I was quoted. By the way, it was only $ 90. Seriously!?! Friendly, fast, great work, great price, I couldn’t be happier. Given that, if you live in the area they will even drive to you, I can’t possibly see why someone would go somewhere else. If your brother, sister, baby-​daddy or baby-​mama own’s the tinting place then fine, go there. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and call SCT first.

I called and was happy to know they were open on a Sunday. I made an appointment and made my way to Upland. Upon arrival I mentioned I could not find the location. They Wasted my time and did not bother to mention that the location in Upland is not actually there address. They are located in Pasadena. I was told that it was a mistake that Unilocal had the Upland address. If you knew this all along why don’t you tell your customers you are actually located in Pasadena! you would of saved me the 30 minute drive I made. Good Place for mobile tinting. Good quality tint at good prices. They offer a variety of tint and you can request high end Ceramic. They are a nice woman/​Man team that work together.

First time here. Found shop on Craig’s list. Owner was very nice & took his time to explain to me all the tint film options. Even took the time to show me a demo so I could feel how much heat would come through the window with the different tint films. Tint came out great. Owner made sure I was happy.

Took my new truck here and received great service. The tint came out looking great couldn’t have asked for a better job. I had a small scratch on my window from a dog always jumping on the window and they called me to inform me and told me to come by and look at it before they started the tint. I gave him the green light to go ahead and do it and even though the scratch is there you can’t even tell. It’s only been a couple of days so I definetly will update the review in a couple of weeks and months and let you know if anything has changed. But I would definetly check this place out they are competitive with their pricing and offer basic tint to the more expensive stuff. And Daisy also helped pick out the perfect tint.

I would never return to this tinting shop. I went in trying to use the Unilocal deal and when I got there I was told a whole other story. when they were done the back window at the matrix looked awful so before I left I mentioned it and the lady told me it would even out and bubbles go away and it was normal. A week went by nothing changed still awfull uneven bubbles so I called again spoke to the same lady and was told the same thing. so I proceeded to go to 3 different well known high end tinting companies they all said my tint was done wrong and that there is a certain technique to doing back windows with the matrix. One shop told me because the tint was not as clear visually as it should be and that SCT probably used a different off brand tint then what they said they sold me SOLAR GUARD but other tint shops were saying the same thing. Then the I had another shop point out how uneven the cut around the windows was which you couldn’t tell until you roll down windows, also showed me all the bubbles in just about every window had little bubbles I wouldn’t have noticed with out professionals point it out.
So I gave two weeks in the sun like the lady said it still looked the same so I called again this time to the installer guy and he wanted to tell me it was nearly impossible to get the matrix area right or perfect and wanted to beat around the bush and give me a bunch of stories, finally after 15 min. on the phone with this guy he tells to bring it in and would look at it. Well here we are 4 months later and guess what my back window still looks AWFUL. Need less to say I never took it back to SCT because I don’t want someone just to look at it i want someone who will fix it and do it Right! The First Time!

Very talented and honest crew. I took my new M6 to this shop, and like any new place I was concerned that they would not satisfy this picky customer. Boy was I wrong, the fact that they work Sundays is another huge plus for me. Nothing is harder than finding the time to get things done. Rolling in on a Sunday they were able to fit me in and do an awesome job that I am proud of.

Brought in my Lexus for all 5 windows, good prices and nice tint brands. Hard working crew, Daisy was very helpful, the tint looks clean, looks fresh on white.

I had tint already on my car that needed to be taken off. Their price beat all competitors. They did an excellent job, great quality work. Also, customer service was great and very friendly. I got my tint done in August 2012 and very very happy with the end result. I just bought a new car and am definitely going back.

First up, for anyone who’s looking for this place, they recently moved. They’re now located at 5512 Arrow Highway, Unit B in Montclair, CA. That said…
I went over to So Cal Tint yesterday to have my new car’s windows tinted. I’d called for an estimate which I was very happy with, and asked about a time to come in. Turned out there was a cancellation and they were able to take me right away, so I headed on over.
The spot was a little hard to find because of some plants covering the bottom portion of the sign where addresses were listed. I ended up going past it at first and had to come back.
The shop area was clean, no trash or debris or dirt or dust in the workspace. Very important when prepping and applying tint.
Jon was very friendly and professional. Greeted me at the front desk, and did a good portion of the work himself, along with some of the other folks in there. It was pretty satisfying to see 3 people working on my car at once to get it done quickly, but each of them focusing on their tasks (tint, interior, prep, etc. They worked quickly and the outcome was something I’m very happy with.
Now I just have to make sure to keep my windows closed for a few days while the tint sets… :P

I ended up staying and waiting there for the duration of the job. There’s a very comfy leather couch in the small front office that was great for the wait, as well as a TV.
I was given a ride to the ATM while they worked on my car so I could get cash to pay for the job instead of using my card, saving me about an extra $ 30 (tax & fees). The Llumar tint I purchased also came with a 15% discount through AAA Membership for any who have it and show their card.
Since I was there through the middle of the day, at «lunch time» they actually brought back some food for me, as well (yes, I paid for it, but still. Very nice of them to do that.).
The kids happened to be there that day (Saturday), along with their dog Yogi. Very cute little guy and funny to watch.
