I’m going to make this short and not so sweet. My experience with these people was today and boy do i regret it. To sum up the problems i personally had…1) fake profile on offer up, 2) fake vehicle pic and over priced for the type of car listed and what I saw in person, 3) swindler type activity, 4) vehicle I actually saw wasn’t what was posted and was a beat up piece of crap that also sounded like it had taken a beating underneath the hood. 5) more lying and yes very strong weed smell coming from garage. I have asthma so I kept my distance but even from a distance it was pretty bad. Seems like a bunch of criminals in charge of this operation. My advice: Run away as fast as you can!!!

Great service and friendly staff. Couldn’t be more pleased with what they had to offer me. I received the car in excellent clean condition. Will highly recommend them. They also offer detailing for any vehicle. Anytime I need a car moret motors is the place to go.

Honestly the worst place to buy a car. The weed smell in the office was a COMPLETE turnoff. The whole experience was completely sketch and I got out of there as fast as I could. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY

Really bad customer service. Set up an appointment to see a car with them and they cancelled 15 minutes before I was supposed to see them because they needed a larger down payment before I have even seen the car. We agreed on a payment before hand and they told me if I didn’t have the money they were just going to find someone else. I really do not recommend to do business with them.

Last 6 months I’ve had to start my life over. I finally start looking for a car for $ 10,000 and I found a low mileage excellent condition Audi S4.
I went to Moret Motors, it’s not a typical dealer, which is good. The extra $$$ most dealers charge go to adverts, landscaping, gimmicks, etc. Moret Motors doesn’t splurge so the savings are passed down to the customer.
My credit, fair at best. I compromised and they compromised right back so everyone wins. I got a great used car (10 yrs old, only 91k miles) and they were patient with me.

Although I was excited about the owner going to the auction for me and personally inspecting the vehicles prior to bidding, it turns out that he didn’t go pre-​inspect it because he was so busy and the vehicle came with a 7 day guarantee. So I could take it to be inspected and drive it and I could let him know if I want to return it if it has over $ 500 in problems. He was in such a rush when he picked up the vehicle at the auction that he didn’t get me a copy of the vehicle inspection report that the auction provides nor has he within the seven day period. He told me that he always gets them but forgot to ask this time. You are on your own so make sure you do your own research before bidding because he may or may not check it out because he is so busy. He wanted me to give him a 5 star on Unilocal before I even saw the vehicle. Is the value there? Yes, since I only paid $ 500 for his services and I saved a couple thousand on the car.

My experience at Moret Motors was stellar. I was looking for a Jeep and found the ideal one at this dealership. They facilitated the finance process and handed me the keys to a clean & solid running vehicle. I think you’ll find that Demont is a hard working business man that is concerned with customer satisfaction. What else could one ask for?

These guys are terrible. They called me telling me they are interested in purchasing my car that i had up on craigslist. Wen i get there they take forever to look at my car and ask me a bunch of questions that i already had answered in my posting. Then tell me they cant buy it because its salvage but it says salvage in my post. Waste of fucking time.

My other post got deleted for some reason and now I believe the owner when he said that Unilocal keeps on only deleting his good reviews. I had a great experience, he sold my car on consignment even though I had my doubts. Gave me the money that I wanted so I can’t complain. It was An Audi A4 and all the people who are hating in the other reviews haven’t even really done business with them so I see it as slander. I gave them a chance even with all the bad reviews and I promised if he delivered I’d write him a review… which I did, that was super extensive in detail but Unilocal deleted it. So here’s my crack at it again bc I keep my word. If you don’t believe me just msg me and ill tell you my experience on the selling side at least. I have no affiliation with the business and I would be happy to prove that too if you call me. I actually work for a used car dealership, the largest used car retailer in the US actually. Can’t use names but if you want to ask me msg me and ill be happy to talk to you over the phone and prove it

Called & talked to Patrick about a SL500 they were advertising but without a price in the ad. After several texts back & forth I realized these guys are a joke. He couldn’t give me the exact cash price out the door for the vehicle & when asked if I brought all cash would we be able to go right to the DMV or AAA to complete the transfer. After asking that he never responded. I would be highly suspicious of doing business with this company. Now the owner is calling me & offering me money to withdraw my review of his business. I can’t believe these guys are in business (posted October 16^th, 2013) I wouldn’t doubt that he is paying people to post a good review as well.

He is the most unprofessional peace of joke out there. Me and my wife where planning on buying a car from him. Stupid me, I give him 2000 upfront and he told me that I would be getting my car the next day (that was a lie) .
Long story short, he never give me the car. I sew the guy and of course we won!
For some reason he decided to appeal the decision and didn’t even had the heart to show up for the appeal. So many times he message me telling me to stop and that he was going to keep the money, just trying to instigate and scare me but I guess all this comments show how bad of a «business man» he really is.

I got the same text as Jake H. After posting my car on craigslist. I did my research and came up on his review. I said no but this guy wouldn’t take it for an answer, and was one of those salesman who try to push you to the point you want to punch them in the face. Here is how the conversation went.
Him: Do you still have the vehicle?
Me: Yes I do, what would you like to know?
Him: I might be able to give you the asking price. Can you bring it to my dealership tomorrow? 1133 West 9^th st. Upland. I will be there 9am — 7pm.
Me: I’m not interested in consignment, thank you though.
***The next morning***
Him: Do you still have the vehicle?
Me: I think you already texted me about consignment.
Him: Why not?
Me: Because i know i’m not going to get the price i want at auction
Him: Cool. Lets do it today?
Me (this is where i start to get annoyed): Did you not read what I said or something?
Him: Nope.
Me: I get you’re trying to make a living, I do sales too and know how it is, but when it comes down to it, no means no.
Him: I do not believe in the answer «No»
Me: Yeah fine, you can be that shady salesman that makes the rest of us look bad, but in this case it’s a no. If you want to do whatever you do with my car, give me (the asking price) in 100 dollar bills, and i’ll sign the title over to you.
Him: Okay
Defiantly not the way to do business… I can’t imagine how irritating the sales people would be in person, when they’re this bad over the phone.
UPDATE:
Day 3. Texted me again with «Do you still have the car available?»
May 26 (nearly a month later)
«Hey Steven. Do you still have the vehicle? LMFAO. I bet your still trying to sale your car. I’m starting to loose count of how many deals I do every month. I make deals happen. If you want to turn your car into cash fast come and to Moret Motors.»
^This man is a joke. For a «business person» he is completely unprofessional and childish. If you ever have to deal with Moret Motors, I suggest you RUN.

I posted an ad to sell my vehicle on Craigslist. They texted me asking me to come in that they «might give you the asking price for it but [they] need to see the vehicle.» I took it in and they offered $ 4,000 less then the asking price. They said they could take it on consignment to sell it at auction and that could bring the asking price, but this is not what I wanted to do. Had he told me that in the beginning, i would not have wasted my time or gas ($$$) to drive out there.
I should have known better given the complete lack of response to some of my texts and rejection of my calls to voice mail.
If you want to sell your car at auction via consignment, this may be a good dealer for you, not what I was after.
