These guys are amazing. If they say they’ll be there in half an hour, they’ll be there in 25 minutes. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and respectful of the client. Really good plumbers!

I had Klaus & sons install my air conditioner and heater. After many quotes they provided the best quote. They were very professional, courteous & knowledgeable. Some the other quotes were extremely high along with aggressive sales tactics which I did not appreciate. Not Klaus & sons. They were in and out of my home very quickly.
Sometime later, I needed a new water heater. I did not think of them first. Again I called around & ended up buying one from a national dept. store. Even though I paid for delivery & installation, the guy who delivered it insisted upon an additional $ 500 to install. I sent them packing and called Klaus & sons. I did not think they did water heaters. I called & spoke with Jessie again. He said they do sell & install water heaters. He came right out & gave quote. It was installed by the end of the day. I wish I would have called him at the start. I always call them take care my heating & air conditioning needs. Their customer service is amazing, I can always count on their quality of work.

I was in the market for a new air conditioner & furnance replacement. After receiving 5 quotes my mind was stuck on the 2^nd quote I received which came from Klaus & son thru Costco for many reasons. 1) No pressure or timeline for price to expire 2) one of few who was an actual tech & not a sales rep that shows up 3) did not degrade any other companies. During the install I had a few issues come up and each time I thought I’d get push back or I’d have a fight on my hands, NO that wasn’t the case. I have to say everyone whom I dealt with was «professional». I do highly recommend klaus& son even if it’s just to give you an estimate. Thank you… John, Kevin, Junior and Dan

Klaus and Sons installed a new air conditioner system for me in 2012. They were very nice and professional. This is a family owned business. They provided great service and did a great job. They even sent a card thanking me for the service and included a coupon.
I did not know that I was supposed to have the unit serviced twice a year. It got blocked this year. They sent a very nice man, Marino to service the unit. He is very nice and polite. Cheerful man. He even explained to me the frequency of changing the filter. I thought it was twice a year lol. I think the last time I encountered such nice service was 2012 when they installed the unit. You don’t see such service very often anymore. I highly recommend Klaus and Sons.

John came out and gave us a quote to replace our AC/​Heating system and all of the ducting. John came in and examined our house and, at our request also added two new returns to get the air moving in the house. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He gave us a quote of 4 days (the first day for an asbestos company to remove our vents) and he wasn’t kidding. The crew came in and worked like maniacs and got our entire system upgraded and installed new equipment. I am used to companies doing the contractor shuffle where they come one day and are gone for two and show up for one day etc etc. Not this company. They showed up on time and worked entire days getting the job done. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs quality, professional work done. Thanks to all.

Got a quote from John to replace our AC system right after our scheduled inspection appointment. He is very knowledgeable and steered us to the right equipment based on our use, without overspending on the «bells and whistles», and he is not pressuring us to make the decision. After we decided to go with Klaus & Sons, John was able to send a crew for the installation within 2 days, and he sure picked a good crew to work on our unit. Kevin, Tom and their assistant showed up at our house as scheduled and did a wonderful job on the installation. They took care in protecting the work areas, did a professional installation, started the unit and adjusted it to run perfectly. All the rooms are now cooled down evenly both upstairs and downstairs. These guys did a great job that we even recommend them to a few friends and co-​workers.

These guys are a class act. Not only have they helped me fix any number of plumbing issues around the house but I also wouldn’t be anywhere near as cool as I am thanks to to their air service. I’m a drywall contractor too and have done allot of business with these guys over the years and know them to always look out for their customers first. It’s a family business run like it will be passed through many more generations. Everyone there is so competent and if you meet Klaus you’ll get an idea how this place stayed in business for 40 years. You can’t go anywhere without seeing their trucks! Old school business values, family business and top notch craftsmanship means you can send these folks to your moms house without worrying about them trying to get rich on one job. Like I said in the beginning, Klaus and Sons, Danny, Jesse, grandson Chris and all their other top notch journeyman are class acts!

just replaced a 20+ yr old HVAC unit in a condo we own in RC. they were easy to deal with & very professional. prices were more than competetive. we checked with other companies in the area and very glad we went with Klaus & Sons. we had been given etimates of 3 days to do the job but they said 1 day and that’s what it took. my husband was there for the day & was very impressed with the job they did.

Dan Klaus had his extremely proficient crew seal our attic plane and install new ducting, insulation, top of the line Lennox hvac, heater, and air purifier.
How many ways can I commend these folks? Professional, knowledgable, competent. Dan Klaus wants things done right to your satisfaction and he’ll spare no expense of his own. A GFIC was placed on an eve for party lights; heater closet prepped for utility closet including dry wall, texturing, painting, cutting out tongue and groove sub floor. His crew also change out an attic fan, properly installing the new one by sealing the joist around it to prevent blow-​back. Sod removed, border put in, and decomposed granite added around a relocated compressor at his expense.
This company is incredible. Run by an honest man who values your satisfaction to the utmost.
Southern California Edison has a link for rebates that also recommends contractors that’s set up on a hierarchy. Klaus & Sons is at the top of the list.

My mom found Klaus & Sons through the nearby Costco and was extremely satisfied with their service! Dan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the estimation process. He was open and honest about all the options available to us and my family ended up very pleased with our choices! Additionally, all of the employees who worked on upgrading our AC system were extremely diligent and pleasant. They were able to complete all the work in the projected amount of time. I also want to add that Dan was very quick to respond to all emails and inquiries my mom had. Overall, a really great experience for such a big job and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have used Klaus and Sons for plumbing (I live in a 105-​year old house), laying a water line and, most recently, installing a new gas line. I have always found their work to be the best I know is available in my area. On a couple of instances, I chose other local plumbing services for simple repairs, thinking I could save a few dollars, but most of the time, I regretted that decision.

I had one of these guys come out to check the a/​c on my new house. He came out and charge $ 100.00 to look at it then charge me an extra $ 40.00 which was never discuss over the phone that i maybe charge additional fees. To tell me everything look fine all he did was add some chemical to my a/​c which he did not even explain to me, then on top of that put black marks from his finger all over my NEW PAINTED WHITE WALLS! plus after he said it should cool down after I hang curtains he left with a bad attitude customer service was very, very horrible. After that a few days later I went to put my a/​c on my house read at 85 degrees felt like a oven, after 2 hours it still read at 85 degrees and having two small children, one i mite add which is a 8 months year old suffer in the heat i could not believe my a/​c didn’t work I had to call another company to come out and fix it. Now my house stays cool after going though all of that i shouldn’t have to call another company to do the job they were suppose to do. Sorry but they just want to take your money.

Buyer beware! A $ 10 capacitor and a $ 19 fuse for $ 190, can you say rip off!
Our AC went out so we call these guys, they say they can come out in a ½ hour but it will be $ 250 for emergency service, then we ask how much for them to come out in a day or two, they say we are all booked up for a week so it was now or never, this could be a lie or scam just to get the extra $$but that’s ok we agreed to pay for the emergency service. When the tech gets here he shows me its the capacitor and he is also putting a fuse on it to protect it in the future, so I take the boxes while he is installing the parts, I look them up on the Internet, the capacitor retails for $ 8 – 12, the fuse is $ 18 – 21. So much to my surprise the tech tells me parts will be $ 190+the 250. After a long argument about pricing and retail vs. wholesale with the tech I tell him to call his manager as I wish to speak to him, long story short the manager decides to bill us $ 50 for the parts and says the high price is because they warrant their parts for 30 days and I won’t have the warranty. What a load! Never use these crooks. I will be telling everyone I know.

My A/​C died at the end of last summer and I was in the market for a new unit. Luckily, since fall was around the corner, I did not need to rush into a quick decision. This gave me the opportunity to meet with several companies.
I chose Klaus and Sons because 1.) Dan (owner) was professional and knowledgeable 2.) he was very patient in answering my questions 3.) he did not put any pressure on me to purchase my system through his company. Plus they were a recommended company listed on the SCE website.
My new A/​C and furnace unit were installed in November 2012. I really haven’t had an opportunity to put the system to the test until recently.
I would have given them 5 stars if the installers had arrived on time instead of 2 hours after the scheduled installation time. About an hour after the scheduled installation time, I had to call and verify that I was on their schedule for the day. This was an all day installation.
Everyone that I spoke with at Klaus and Sons were professional and friendly. During my initial meeting with Dan, he asked questions about my wants and needs before making any recommendations. Chris came next to measure for BTU usage. This ensures that the proper size equipment is installed for maximum comfort. The installers were neat and clean. My inspection with the city went smoothly.
I would definitely recommend Dan and his team at Klaus and Sons.

Just got my AC fixed by Klaus. I called today (Monday morning) and was first told that the next available appointment was on Wednesday (I had called a few other places and everyone was booked solid as well), when I expressed that I was not able to wait that long since I have a 3 month old baby at home, they said they will squeeze me in and gave me window between 12 to 5pm. I know it’s a big window but I was desperate to get the AC fixed due to the 100 degree temp. Mario showed up around 4pm and my AC up and running in about 30min. I had a blown compositor and blown fuse. At $ 285, they certainly arent cheap, but I’m glad I called them! I would recommend them to anyone in upland and Rancho area if they can bare with the price.

we had a plumbing emergency. they came, used cool technology to evaluate, told us what needed to be done, and fixed it. they had to dig through concrete and it seemed expensive at first, but then i consulted with my friends who’ve had similar problems and it turned out that in comparison they were much less! yay.

We recently moved into a new house and during a routine maintenance, discovered the existing AC compressor was running at about 40% capacity due to damage from a dog and some of the ducting and intake vent needed to be replaced. We found Klaus & Sons through the SCE website and a quick web search of their name found quite a few really positive reviews, so we decided to check them out.
They were very friendly on my initial call and were able to send someone out to give us a quote within a couple of days. They gave us two quotes: one for a 13.5 SEER unit, one for a 14 SEER and were great about explaining the differences. The quote was pretty much what I expected as far as pricing went, so we decided to go with them without getting quotes from other companies. They ordered the unit and a few days later called to let me know it arrived. I scheduled an appointment for two days from then.
Install day came and the two installers arrived at my house on time and ready to work. One worked on the compressor outside while the other focused on the ducting and intake in the attic crawl space. They were friendly and extremely professional. My husband had recently bought a Nest thermostat. The installers hadn’t seen one in person before and installed it, no extra charge, just for the opportunity to learn about it.
I’m very happy with my experience and happy to recommend them. Although I hope to never need their services again, they will be at the top of my list if I do.

Our AC broke down over the Labor day weekend and Jesse came to our house within a hour of our phone call. He provided us with excellent service and explained the problems we were having thoroughly. It turned out our compressor was busted. He was able to come back the next day with a new unit and replaced our broken AC in the morning before it got hot. I was completely satisfied.
