We love it here! It has a great breeze on hot days. Everyone is very friendly. It’s relaxing too.

Always a good time. Some people think just because the big dogs love little dogs does not make it right that little dogs won’t over react. And yet blame the small dog. Overall very nice people.

Love this place! Always have a great time with my pups when we come! Also so many cool dog’s too meet and play with

Great experience! There were 2 sides. One for big and one for little dogs. There
benches for relaxing and poop bags. It was awesome!

First time here and I liked it!
It’s pretty big, there’s shade and benches, plenty of balls, some frisbees, lots of poop bags. I just didn’t like the fact that there’s no water bowls, there’s a water fountain but a lot of dogs don’t know how to drink from it.
It was my first time there so I’ll be bringing a water bowl next time (:

I took my 8 month old saint Bernard to park this morning. Rajah had a blast since it was her first time interacting with other dogs. Not many dogs in big section but the ones that were there were very well behaved and playful. I took her water bowl but they have plenty of water for dogs and stuff to pick up poop. People were also friendly with my dog since she is a giant but still a puppy. We will soon go back and hope to have same experience.

I love this dog park! One section for large dogs and one section for small dogs. It’s pretty clean for a dog park, there’s water section and doggy waste bags to use! Great place for doggy lovers

Really spacious and clean area for the smaller and/​or older dogs. The space for the large dogs is on the other side of the fence, which was startling to me because one of the larger dogs simply jumped over to the smaller dog area. Dog parents have been very responsible. Everyone has been friendly and the park offers plastic bags to clean up messes and pooper scoopers. So far really enjoying this dog park.

Great dog park. It is a good size dog park with areas for the large and small or timid dogs. Lots of trash cans and poop bags. They also have scoopers to pick the poop up with too. The park is very clean and everyone picks up after their dogs.
This place is usually very crowded on the weekends and in the afternoons. I myself have not had any negative experiences at this park. Everyone that I have met have been very friendly.
My dog is very active and high energy. I love having a space where he can get all of his energy out. It has a few shady spots and benches to hang out while your dog gets to socialize.

Clean and two separate areas for small/​geriatric and big breeds. Kept up well. Both areas are a good size and parking is easy and safe.

I’ve been to lots of dog parks and this one has it’s good and bad qualities. The large dog section is larger than most. Both sides are cleaner than average. There’s a plastic wading pool my lab enjoys.
On the other hand, many of the owners spend their time socializing rather than monitoring their dogs. I have seen serious fights between dogs. The park allows un-​neutered male dogs which always makes dog fighting more likely. In the evening, there is a clique of pit-​bull owners, none of whom have neutered their dogs. They owners seem to be nice enough people but oblivious to the risk. They’re usually in the very back of the large dog area.

I live in a condo and besides walks my dog doesn’t get a lot of space to really stretch his legs. I found this park about a year ago and what a great find.
The park is big open with a few shady spots to get out of the heat. There’s two sides one for small and timid dogs and the other for the rest. The people and the dogs that go there are usually very friendly and kind. If your dog is stuck inside going stir crazy all day then you need to do Rover a favor and get down there.

I used to come here before I got my own dog because I loved them so much but everyone made me feel unwelcome. Maybe because I was just trying to steal some attention away from the owners? Lol sorry.
But when I got my own dog everyone made me feel unwelcome and eventually asked me to leave. Granted, I had a 120lb 9 month old wolf dog hybrid that was still unfixed but he was nice and he had his shots! Plus he was still only a puppy! There were loads of unfixed dogs there and some of them were not puppys! It made me pretty sad to have to take my little prince home because of his breed.
I understand he looked dangerous but I think they hurt his feelings more than mine.
Long review short, I think if you have an aggressive breed, you’ll be asked to leave.

Love this dog park. its the first one i been to. my dog loves it and loves the dogs there. everyone is really friendly. the only thing i didnt like is that some owners are real scared for their dogs. and on top of them. u have to let them go and let them socialize. this one lady got all scared when my dog was playing with hers. kind of annoying. but other than that. its a good dog park

My husband and I came here with our 3 Shih Tzus over the weekend. The park itself is pretty easy to find.
From the 210 Freeway, you exit Mountain, and head South and turn left onto 11^th St. It’s on 11^th Street between Mountain Avenue and San Antonio Avenue.
This dog park has been around since 1999 and it has a formal committee apparently who ensure the park is maintained. My dogs are between 12 – 16 lbs so we went to the small dog play area which was really big. It’s the shape of a rectangle and was fairly long. They have water available near the entrance in case your dog (s) get thirsty, plenty of poop bags, trash cans, and a couple picnic tables for the humans.
Note that there is a fair amount of dirt first and then it becomes more grassy. So if your dog is going back in your car (mine has cloth interior), you should bring some wipes to clean off their paws.
We got there around 10AM and there were about 10 other small dogs in there already including a Pekinese, another Shih Tzu, Chihuahuas, a few mutts, and a Shi-​Poo (Shih Tzu/​Poodle) puppy!
Overall, the dogs and their humans were well behaved and we would come here again. There were no «big» dogs in the small dog area, however, we saw a tiny dog in the Big Dog area and it was being chased by 3 large dogs. Hopefully, the owner of the small dog was okay with that…
I just wish the entire play area was grassy because you know the dogs end up laying in the dirt… (Sigh…)

I still enjoy brining my dog here but I have learned to bring her own water which would be good at any dog park. My dog got a bacterial infection from the water. The cliques are a little obnoxious. But my dog always has fun. When you go remember all dogs play differently. So don’t get upset when one dog plays harder then your dog does just remove your dog from the situation and move to another part of the park the large side is big enough for that. And the large dog side is no place for dogs smaller then a beagle, or puppies.

Large and small area, is a large area and plane, very good for our puppies run too much: D

OK for a small dog park, but nothing out of the ordinary.
It is split into big dog, little dog sections. Plenty of big shady trees, plenty of grass, some picnic tables for sitting while those cute little canines frisk and sniff and pee and poop. Poopy bags and a trash can are available, so keep an eye on your pooch and use ‘em please.
My biggest disappointment was with the mud that interfered with the entry to the little dog section. The water spout nearby must leak, and has caused a river of mud to wash down the sidewalk. Lilly-​pup thinks it’s swell. I cringe. And now we have muddy paws to deal with before we get back in the car.
And I was disappointed that they did not have a drinking fountain on the little dog side, just that hose. There was one on the big dog side. But that’s not a deal breaker.

This is am amazing park compared to other parks in the area. Its actually one of the biggest parks. There’s always a good variety of dogs and owners are friendly. Yes, I have encountered with aggressive dogs and incidents, but it happens. Overall a good place for my three large dogs.

This park isn’t as bad as the other dog parks around the area. There are all kinds of dogs at this park; however, there always seems to be at least a few at a time that are aggressive due to bad owners. I’ve taken Milo, my pit bull mix puppy there and if I don’t watch him like an overbearing mother, he always comes home with some sort of gash caused by some dog. Socialize your dogs properly people! I’ve also noticed that the old folks never watch their dogs. They just sit with their big butts on the benches and let their dogs poop everywhere and bully other dogs. But as soon as my puppy walks by their dog, everyone gets tense for no reason. But when he is being bullied, no one cares.
I understand that no matter where you go, there is always going to be idiots and irresponsible owners. But c’mon people…
Oh yes, back to the park. It’s great for big dogs, lots of grass, the fence around the park is less than 4 ft tall, and if you have a small dog, be prepared for it to just play in the dirt, unless you think your small dog can handle the big dog area. And oh, for all you small dog owners, don’t pick up your dog when you are in the big dog area. That’s a bad thing because then other dogs think that you have some sort of treat or toy and they will jump on you more. If you don’t want a bigger dog harassing your little dog, firmly say «no!» to the big dog and create a barrier.
Overrall, this dog park is the best in the area besides the dog beach in Huntington. There are plenty of buckets of water around (sometimes clean, sometimes dirty, and sometimes empty), and balls for the dogs, lots of space and bags and shovels for peeing and pooping. The park itself is a good place.

Could be nicer. But at least there is a «dog park» in this city.
Place is kept clean by most pet owners.

Should have read the reviews thoroughly before I ventured to this dog park over the weekend. It was obvious that the afternoon crowd is more involved with socializing than monitoring their pet (s). I have a medium size dog so I went to the larger dog area and immediately noticed some unruly large dogs.
The owners were too busy visiting and not seeing that their dogs were causing havoc toward smaller dogs. My dog snipped at a couple and I verbally shoo’d them away since they were slobbering all over my poor dog.
When pet owners spend their time chatting and not observing their pet’s behavior, trouble seems to develop after a while. I spent less than 20 minutes there since three large dogs were constantly tugging at my dog relentlessly. Had the owners been attentive, hopefully they would have called off their pet (s). Never happened.
Looks like I’ll be going in the morning to observe how different the pet owners are from the afternoon groups. They also need to clean after their pets do their business, but obviously, most don’t. Spacious but you need to watch your footing.

Walnut had a blast! It was nice to go from the small to large dog areas. Since Walnut is a medium size dog he found friends in both areas. Everybody was friendly and well behaved. We will be back.

Check the actual address instead of the Unilocal dot. The Unilocal dot is off by more than half a block. The website is also not working. The park is next to a school avid is behind a normal kids park.
People have their large dogs in areas meant for small dogs, vice versa, and mixed. If my 80lb dog tripped over one of these 5lb dogs, she’d break it.
The park has a nice sized yard for larger breeds to run full speed. There is even a small kids pool for them to jump into.
Granted, it seems like most of the dogs here are behaved and it shouldn’t be a problem for large and small breeds to mix, but when the signs are clearly marked for one or another, it’ s madness.

3.5 stars. I have a pitbull and everyone has been very welcoming towards her.
5 stars for the morning crowd. The morning crowd is great. They are welcoming, friendly, and very responsible for their dogs. The dogs are playful and well behaved.
2 stars for the afternoon crowd. Afternoon crowd is a gamble and definitely hit or miss. When it’s good, it’s good, and when it’s bad oh my goodness it’s really bad…
PAY ATTENTION IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE DOG
–The majority of the dog fights I’ve seen have been in the little dog section. And they are not snippy little yappy fights. I almost always see/​hear a fight every time I go in the afternoon.
If you see a little white poodle with a highlighter neon green vest on whose owner is a male GET OUT OF THE SECTION. (I know there are like ten other dogs with this description but you’ll know this dog when you see it) I saw this dog attack 4 other dogs very badly. The worst was when it attacked this poodle and I swear I saw blood. The owner didn’t take this little monster out and didn’t even punish it. He even laughed and made excuses for it’s behavior. Sorry to put you on blast buddy If my pitbull even halfway acted that aggressive someone would’ve called the cops on us. Final straw was when it was running and barking aggressively with a boxer doing the same along the fence. It started bringing more and more dogs to the fence and both dingbat owners didn’t think to stop their dogs… That’s when my pup and I peaced out.
BIG DOG SECTION
–There is a huge clique-​y group that likes to hang out towards the back. You will know them when you see them. That’s what someone told me when they warned me and yup when I saw them I definitely knew it was them. They seem like nice people but they don’t really pay attention to their dogs (dogs jumping on tables, snapping at other dogs that come close) I’ve seen the occasional dog wander over and either the dogs haven’t paid any attention or have snapped and chased the poor dog away. It’s a huge group. Almost looks like a birthday party.
–Landmines the farther back you go. Be careful where you step!
–In the afternoons I notice people are more focused on socializing and tend to pay less attention to what their dog is doing. I found this tends to happen at most dog parks in the afternoons. Dogs pooping and no one picking it up. Barking and running along the fence with the little dogs. Having to pull someone’s happy humping dog off of my dog multiple times. And unfortunately I almost always see a dog showing signs of aggressions. It’s just such a hassle having to petsit and watch out for other people’s dogs that intensely.
ALTERNATIVE
Rancho Cucamonga’s park is great for the afternoons. If I didn’t live so close to this one, I would head their more often.

The pictures really take the illusion that is grand… I visited the park today with my dad and siblings and well it was alright. The dogs there were friendly but some careless owners made it bad. For example my dad ended up stepping on a pile of crap that a careless owner did not pick up. So that ruined my fathers time on Harvey trip. I wouldn’t Visit it again.
Also harvey ended up getting a tick from a random dog or the park because after i removed the tick he has not gotten another one since the park and i know my backyard is not infected because i have looked for signs. so this park gets my lowest rating

I have a small dog so we stick to the small dog side, but it’s really quit spacious!
All the dogs always look so happy when they are here, especially mine! My little Peanut LOVES this place, especially since I’ve moved to an apartment and she’s lost her backyard space. She literally cries and whines to get out of the car as soon as we pull up to the parking lot.
Everyone is always friendly, there are picnic tables to sit on and a hose for water. Sometimes the dogs like to mark their territory on the water buckets so it may be a good idea to bring your own container for water.
There’s another dog park that I live closer to, but I always make the extra drive to come here because it’s a lot bigger and my pup loves it!
