History

Established in 1997.

Since 1997 the Advance shop has been serving the Upland community and neighboring cities alike with quality exhaust work. We began as a simple muffler shop to now offering a variety of automotive services. Although we have expanded our services, we still remain the neighborhood’s local ma n’ pa shop. We like to keep our business small so we can connect to our costumers on a more personal level. We are exceptionally knowledgeable in our profession and we dont work on commission so feel confortable in knowing you will always get the best possible price. Our community has been good to us and we are greatful for all the support and allowing us to grow.

At the age of 14 Art began working at an auto repair shop that belonged to an uncle of his. Over 30 years later he has continued to grow and develop his talents as an automotive repair technician. From a simple oil change to the complex rebuilding process of a transmission, Art has mastered his domian. This man has seen it all and strives to keep up with new technology. Other shops turn to him when they come across issues they cannot resolve and he is always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He has a great character and above par work ethics. Art has become a vital asset to the Advance family and without his knowlege and experties we would not be where we stand today.
