Not Yet, South Tampa. However, they are working hard to «Aim to Please». Service is A+ their Staff works hard to keep things synchronized. Under the direction of Mgmt. Keep in mind that Saturday & Sunday mornings, are going to be very busy. Yes. Is it overwhelming when you walk in a place and has people waiting. No doubt, about it. However, IT’S A GOODSIGN. Only when, their is good organization. And, the staff is friendly and Experienced. Pete, Mgr. was at the helm of this ship. On this particular morning I came in for breakfast. The place was jumping. I am Very Happy about their Gluten Free Pancakes. On this visit I had Poached Eggs, Home Fries and more then 1 Mug of their fresh brewed Coffee. Their Fresh Coffee is very good. Of Course, I could not resist their Traditional Mimosa. Hate to admit it. Makes me very agreeable and up for whatever has to be done or not. My breakfast was ok. But, the Poached Eggs had a problem w/to much Vinegar being added to the water, they were being cooked in. I’ve been cooking for many years. And, I’ve never heard of Vinegar in the water. First thing I noticed was an acrid(acidic like odor). I have a very sensitive sense of smell. I mentioned it. And, after a couple of tries. My appetite left me. Pete was very apologetic. I am familiar w/Pete and staff members that are there from the Daily Eats in South Tampa. Pete gave me a Boucher for a future meal. And, compt my Poached Eggs & Potatoes. I am grateful for the gracious, professional etiquette. I would not expect any less from this organization or their staff. Like I Mentioned before. Those Mimosas are marvelous. Trust me ladies & gents. Order these for your dinning companion/yourself. One is sufficient. Unless, you are not the driver. A Blooper with your meal. Will not be an OMG. I took it has a learning experience and looked forward to Lunch. Since, I had the Caloric Count on my side. FYI: I am a Ck Out the Restroom. And, it speaks Volumes about what is going on. In places you can’t see. Sorry Guys. But, W/a Large Volume Of Customers. How can You Have 2TOILETSINTHELADIESRM. «HELLOOO? Most kids That Visit The«I gottaa… Go Room Are WOMEN»??? I do understand. The«Ladies(?¿) Rm Is Always the Messiest. Yes, It’s A Challenge for Restaurants, etc Don’t Get That:-(( Daily Eats Does Seem To Hold Promise:-)

I had the seared tuna salad. Amazing. I ate it all and I never do that. Wait staff was very courteous. Cheap drinks at happy hour with a decent selection. Clean. Cute, old soda shop feel. Nostalgic. Going back for breakfast next time.

First time here. The Lox breakfast bowl is delicious and the sauce on the side is great! Kiddies loved the French toast as well.

This is a great development. Sarasota has a number of good restaurants, but for all of the development at University Town Center — the new mall, all of the new shopping areas — new restaurants have lagged behind. Except for mall eateries — Cheesecake Factory, Kona, Capital Grille, and a few others, there hasn’t been an influx of really good places to eat. But, thankfully, Ciccio Restaurant Group has saved the day by opening a Daily Eats and a Fresh Kitchen at the Shoppes at University Town Center. If you’ve been to any Ciccio Restaurant, you know they do one thing consistently at all of their places — bowls. Mixes of different proteins, grains and veggies in bowls. Daily Eats is no different, though Daily Eats also throws in breakfast all day, as well as other«diner» fare like club sandwiches, burgers, and other items. The menu has something for everyone — regular, turkey, and veggie burgers, tuna sandwiches, rice or quinoa in their bowls, steak, chicken, etc etc etc, and of course, Brinner. I’ve been to the Daily Eats in South Tampa once or twice for breakfast/brunch, but this was my first foray for dinner. It wasn’t all great, as evidenced by the missing star. To start with, the place was not busy, yet we were sat in a corner, by the bathrooms and the patio door which was left open. It was a nice night, but it got chilly and there were plenty of other tables. Our server, Pete, was very friendly, but a bit slow. We weren’t greeted for 5+ minutes, our drinks sat empty for a while, and he disappeared once or twice, but that was apparently to make their handmade milk shakes. I love the idea of the milkshakes, and if you see the milkshake menu, you will drool, but I don’t understand an item that causes your server to disappear for 7 – 10 minutes. What in the world do they do if they are busy? Maybe they have a milkshake bartender on those nights or something. Anyway, service problems aside(and Pete and the rest of the staff we interacted with had us laughing and having a good time), the food was very good. I got a small mexican bowl, hold the guacamole — because I don’t like eating things that look like snot and sludge — and the sour cream(because its cream, and it should not be sour — you throw out cream that’s gone sour) and instead I got it with the cajun horseradish sauce. it was blackened chicken with veggie chili, brown rice, onions and tomatoes. Very good. My brother got the ahi tuna club and my mother got a turkey burger. Neither of them had been to a Daily Eats before and my mother had never been to a Ciccio restaurant before, and they both enjoyed their meals. Therefore, Northern Sarasota, rejoice! There are finally new good places to eat besides the crap at the mall(Capital Grille excepted) and the few overpriced places on main street in Lakewood Ranch. You also have an excellent place for breakfast/brunch — you can take a break from First Watch. Enjoy the new experience of good Tampa Restaurants sneaking their way into Sarasota.

We had an amazing experience at the new Daily Eats ! Our new favorite brunch spot! Can’t wait to go back for dinner and try one of the shakes ! On our way out the manager brought our son a cookie which I may have tasted and it was the best cookie ever! Included potato chips in the cookie my hubby had the Tijuana bowl and I tried the Goat omlette and a Bloody Mary.

We had high hopes for this place after looking at the menu but it was a huge disappointment. We got a small table by the window with the sun glaring the whole time on us even though the place was empty. The coffee was disgusting and there weren’t any flavored creamers to make it more tolerable. The greek omelette was o.k.- nothing great about it and very small. The home fries were very salty. Their«famous» crunchy french toast was anything but crunchy and other than the slight taste of captain crunch, it was bland. The oatmeal was as bland as it comes. While the waitress was friendly, she never even came back to see if I wanted more coffee(not that I did) but it would have been nice for her to check. Definitely not going back any time soon.

If your in the mood for delicious comfort food, moderately priced, in a friendly, informal atmosphere, then this is the place for you. Arrive before 7:00 P.M. and you are offered some great drinks and food at reduced prices. I haven’t had a chocolate shake in years and I wasn’t disappointed. My dinner choice was the BBQ chicken wings sandwich with crunchy french fries. WOW! My wife’s chopped sirlon salad was exceptional! Portions are bountiful and plated nicely. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable. This is definitely a comeback.

We have so many good breakfast places in Sarasota, I’m not sure we need any more. But we recently gave Daily Eats a try. Verdict… Needs work! Issue #1. The restaurant wasn’t that busy with several open tables. But we were assigned the smallest little table I’ve ever seen, probably about 24″ wide. The condiment tray occupied a good portion of it leaving very little room for actual food. This should have been the last table assigned. Issue #2. Coffee came in a cup, white inside. After taking a few drinks, I realized that it was not clean. Still dark stains all around the inside of the cup. Looks like it had been left filled with coffee inside for some time and then just given a rinse. Pretty off-putting. Issue #3 The«side of fresh fruit» that came with the omelet was spoiled and inedible. Any one of these issues shouldn’t condemn a restaurant but three of them in one visit is too many. Besides that. The food was OK. Neither particularly good or particularly bad. The environment was cold; both temperature wise and from an environment point of view. Very industrial with bare cement floors etc. I know that’s kind of trendy these days, but it doesn’t make for a warm and cosy breakfast experience. I wouldn’t say I’d never go back but it wouldn’t be my first choice any time soon

Food was delicious. We had Thai chicken bowl, barbecue sandwich with tots and the turkey burger. Our service was less than stellar(waited 45 minutes for food after being seated) but that’s to be expected with new restaurants. Manager was super nice. We will return and recommend you try it out!

On vacation and stopped by for breakfast… very good! Portions are big with a lot of unique options. French toast was crispy and cooked perfectly, husband had the gobbler and it was enough for two people and tasty! We had fresh squeezed orange juice… fitting for Florida. The only negative and it was mine only… the home fries weren’t what I expected — don’t get me wrong most will like just expecting something that matched the uniqueness of the menu. Server was great, atmosphere laid back and worth another visit… which we did for lunch a few days later!

This place has only been open for two weeks? My server was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the menu. I loved how the staff worked together behind the counter. I’d love to see them get some sort of shade for the sun! The poor servers behind the counter(as well as some patrons) were blinded. I’m so happy I stopped in while shopping.

Fantastic new addition to the plaza! It’s great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We had fried pickles, the Mexican bowl, and the Greek bowl. All were delicious! The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this place.

The best breakfast/lunch/brunch spot in SRQ. Move over broken egg, station, peaches, first watch etc.
