I was just there less than an hour ago. It is only one employee working. There were no customers inside. I wasn’t greeted on my way in and I went to the restroom. When I came out of the restroom to order food, I wasn’t greeted and felt ignored. I was acting very upbeat and happy, and the employee was just the opposite. I asked if I can get pepperchinis on my sub and he said that they do not have peppercinis. He said that in a very mellow manner. If the owner response to this post, I will delete it.

Late night life saver! I was happy to see there was a JJ’s open for delivery after arriving late on a business trip. Delivery was fast and the food was fresh & delicious. I’ll definitely order again!

Slowest Jimmy John delivery ever! I waited an hour for my lunch and ended up having to cancel after all that… if I could give zero stars I would!

A pretty solid choice for food, but nothing special. Fast delivery is a plus. Hot peppers are a must. They are more pickled than hot.

I’m really annoyed with Jimmy John’s right now. I ordered and PAID at their online site and then went to pick up my order. When I arrived I was told by an employee that I still owed 27 cents. While this isn’t that much more to pay I still wanted to know why I needed to pay more. The employee didn’t know and simply went to get another employee. After waiting about 5 minutes for this employee to come out the only thing he said was that it was«weird» but I needed to pay it in order to get my sandwich. I told him I only had a card on me, you know since I thought everything was paid for and all, but he could take the 27 cents from that. So he did(which was probably a bad idea given credit card swipe fees) and I was finally on my way. What really pisses me off is that I not only paid more than what was advertised online but that if I hadn’t had my card on me I still wouldn’t have my sandwich. I could tell from the way that they were holding the sandwich behind the counter and giving me the side-eye that I wasn’t leaving without paying for THEIR mistake. Obviously the online site has incorrect prices and they haven’t gotten off their behinds and fixed them yet. Customers shouldn’t be charged for a business’ mistake. Businesses should honor the prices that were stated online just as much as they honor the prices in store. Believe me, I won’t waste my time dealing with Jimmy John’s again. I’d rather buy from Subway. At least they don’t treat their customers like criminals and actually honor their online prices.

It’s a good place for a student to get(or order) a sandwich in the middle of the night. I’m not a huge fan of their sandwiches when I have another choice though. They are usually very bland or have overpoweringly-seasoned meats. Although delivery is always super-speedy, the order is only somewhat accurate.

It’s jimmy johns so you know what you’re getting as far as food goes. It’s a solid sub place. Food is always good, delivered super fast. Order from here all the time. Have never had a problem.

Forgot our drinks 2 days in a row and when I called, the guy answering just said there was nothing they could do. Bad customer service

We arrived at this location at approximately 11:55 pm yesterday. When we walked in there was a couple leaving and the woman said«f*ck these people they won’t call us a cab.» At first thought, I assumed she was drunk and overreacting. I soon found out why she was upset. The man working the counter did not greet us, nor did he even ask us what we would like to order. He simply pointed at me as a means of letting me know it was my turn to order. After I ordered, he didn’t tell me my total and just held his hand out for my form of payment, still saying nothing. After I paid I was waiting for my meal I overheard him on the phone talking to someone about«all these mother f*ckers coming in late and keeping him busy.» I couldn’t believe he was blatantly complaining about us as we stood right there. When he got off the phone he said from across the kitchen, directed at me: «say somethin!!!» In a combative tone and then told us to «go home.» Naturally, I was upset and looked up this store’s hours to see if we had come in just before close and that was why he was upset. The site says Saturday hours are 11 – 1:30 a.m. We were in an entire hour and a half before close! I didn’t catch this individual’s name but he appeared to be a manager(which is even more disturbing.) His description is large, heavy set African-American with short hair and a bad attitude. I love jimmy johns and used to frequent the Manchester store in Maplewood, MO and never experienced this sort of treatment. I hope the individual I am writing about today finds a new career path because his customer service skills are completely lacking.

As with every jimmy johns this one was delicious. I’m usually not a fan of fast food chains but this one I make a exception too. The bread is fresh, the meat is tasty, and the vegetables are fresh and unlimited. That and the price makes Jimmy Johns awesome.

I was stuck at work by myself on a weekday and ordered a single, lettuce-wrapped sandwich straight off the menu(nothing special) to be delivered to my work. It took well over an hour for my sandwich to arrive and by the time it did I didn’t even want it anymore. It was pretty overpriced for the quality/size of the sandwich, but at least I knew what I was getting into there prior to ordering. Since it was lettuce wrapped and just had cold cut meat, I don’t care how backed up they could have been there was no way it would have honestly taken such a significant amount of time to make my order. Had I realized it was going to be over an hour and a half before I even got my sandwich, I seriously would have reconsidered. Oh, did I mention that my place of employment is .2 miles down the street which is, according to Google maps, 4 minutes walking distance? An hour and a half to bring a single sandwich four minutes down the street. I will probably never bother with Jimmy John’s again.

3 months ago I was about to give them 1 star because it took an hour and a half to get me my order and it was the completely wrong order. However I decided to give them another chance. Since then every time I order the time it has taken less and less time for them to get my food to my work. I would know because every time I ordered I would time them with the stopwatch on my phone for fun. Finally today it only took them a little over 10 minutes to get my order to me. Much improved. Only problem is that they forgot to add cheese even though it is on the receipt. So close JJs. 4 stars for your great improvement.

SERIOUSLY!!! This is the 3rd time in a row that my order took over an HOUR long!!! SOFASTYOU’LLFREAKMY A$$!!! And when i called, they told me «sorry we are a driver short». Well what are you going to do about it? nothing!!! Why would you keep taking orders? YES I’M ANGRY! On top of that, when my order came it was WRONG! How do you EFFFUP a freakin sandwich with chips!!! REALLY!!! I normally order from the one in central west end, because I work out there and THATONE rocks. no matter where i am, our order is always RIGHT and always delivered within 5−10min. But THISDELMAR location… EFFs up your order all the time, always out of sprouts & delivery time is always over an hour. Wouldn’t you think you would DO something about that management/owner? HMMM?!

I don’t get what’s so special about Jimmy John’s. There are better sandwiches to be had nearby or via delivery(Snarf’s, for one) and, if you’re making the trip into the Loop, there are friendlier, cleaner, tastier restaurants abound. Lost a star because they refuse to deliver to my place, even though they deliver further distances than from me to them. Too bad I don’t live on the other side of Delmar… (Snarf’s delivers without a hitch)

Not«freaky fast» at all! Jimmy Johns is going to give you a great sandwich, every time. I’m not here to tell you otherwise. #s 9&10 are my favorites, and probably always will be. I’ve only once ever walked into this store. The staff was friendly and fast, as usual. However, this is the closest JJ’s to my house. The problem arrives when ordering for delivery. I’m sure that many of you, like me, have been out for the evening and are on your way home, when you think, «Man, you know what would be awesome right now? JIMMYJOHN’S!» Let’s order some! We’ll be home in 10 minutes, this will be great. Normally, I’d agree. This store, though– and I really just mean this store– is EXTREMELYSLOWWITHEVENINGDELIVERIES. I have ordered from here 5 times, in the evenings and have waited for OVER55MINUTES, each time. By that point, I’m either starving, or annoyed enough that I don’t really want to eat a JJ’s sandwich any more(a tragedy). So please, do not stop ordering Jimmy John’s sandwiches. They’re great! But, if you’re going to order them after 6 pm, don’t order from this one, if you want your food before the next day.

I ordered a #7GOURMETSMOKEDHAMCLUB as a celebration because my wife and I just survived a scary Metro ride with some unsavory characters in our car. The sandwich was ready in exactly 22.45 seconds and it was delicious, the bread was better than I’ve ever had a Blimpie, Subway or Quiznos. I’ll give it a try again if they have any locations in New York.

Jimmy John’s is Jimmy John’s. The food is the same as every other one. Gotta say, though, the people who work at this location always seem to be super friendly! Going to a Jimmy John’s is only enjoyable when the staff is friendly or you’re drunk. This one, though, is a place I like to stop in either way. Though both can’t really hurt.

What happened, JJ’s? This place used to be pretty good. But now, they are NOT Freaky Fast. They’re only freaky fast if you get pickup. If you don’t, expect a 45 minute wait…(wouldn’t you rather just get your butt over there for your sandwich instead??) Otherwise, I love JJ’s sandwiches. I don’t know if it’s the bread, or the sprouts, or the mayo… dunno, it’s just good :) OH and it’s open till 1AM!
