I have had several photo shoots over the past several years and the photo shoot I had with Nakia from Secrest Photography has to be the easiest shoot I have ever done. It was fun, convenient, and the best value for my money. Definitely worth every single penny!
The photographer was able to arrange my makeup artist who was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The shoot didn’t take ages, as she was very efficient and creative. We went over my ideas carefully and she was very helpful in guiding me towards the best outcome. The best thing is, I got my finished photos back in a timely fashion and they looked great.
I would recommend Secrest Photography to anyone interested in getting the best photos for the best value with the best service. Very professional and I love all the compliments I am getting from them. :)

Nakia is amazing! She has a natural gift, that can not be learned. She makes you feel comfortable and the time whips by. At the end of the shoot, I had fantastic photos that I am so proud of. I get lots of compliments on the photo and it has helped me book work. Bottom Line: Her photos will help you book!

There has always been something off about my headshots. No one has ever really taken a photo that looks like ME. Until Now.
As an actress I need something to do in front of the camera and Nakia is the very best at working with that. She had me say lines and kept talking to me throughout the shoot. The results were headshots that look like me. The ver BEST version of me.
She is the person to go to especially if you haven’t quite figured out how to get yourself to look natural for still photos.
She should probably charge more for the modeling lessons she gave me while she was shooting.
DEFINITELY go to Nakia if you need any sort of photography work done!

Wow. I had so much fun and learned so many new and important things about head shots. I got the full experience from Secrest Photography. I received the full attention that every actor wants from a head shot session. Nakia Syvonne is warm and inviting and does excellent work.
