That smell. Omg. If you are pumping out so much perfume that customers not only smell it but can taste it, you are way overdoing it. It seriously made me nauseous. It put me in a bad mood while trying to shop. They really need to stop that practice. I hear it’s company mandated to basically replace breathable air with their perfume in their stores. Overall the clothes tend to run small/tight, but sometimes they run big; you really need to try them on first. This location had a very on top of things, always doing some work, greeting customers, and friendly worker and also a worker at the back register who seemed try to not meet eyes with customers or try to help them.

Unilocal’s 365 Review Challenge #283 — #365 Why of why do I always end up walking into an Abercrombie and Fitch Store besides selling the infamous cologne«Fierce» just 1 block away. The smell is really that strong! What’s to expect of A & F? The apparel was designed for the skinny to muscular type of clientele Abercrombie wants to attract. Walking in and being not greeted right away is a red flag about what’s to come in this sad sad store. The sales associates are heavily trained on customer service. How do I know? My sister’s use to work for the company and hated it! In my opinion, most of the associates feel so entitled to work there because of the name. Well, HELLO! You work in retail! It’s no different than working at Calvin Klein or Banana Republic.

Awesome sales chick on the phone tonight! Checked the stock in sizes/shirts I wanted and reported back to the phone with all available styles/colors/sizes. Great personality and a big help!

Music is too loud, overcrowded with merchandize, sizes are too small compare to normal ones BUT customer service is great and couple of managers(I think Eric and a girl forgot her name) really tried to help me with my issue. So if I need to buy clothes for somebody really thin in future– I would go there:)

I never hated the abercrombie style as much as everyone else did. In my opinion their clothes are either hit or miss. It 2 different extremes, nothing in the middle. Surprisingly I found the staff in this particular abercrombie much more tolerable than all the other ones I’ve been to. They actually come up to you and ask you if you need anything instead of bluntly ignoring you like they do in other locations. This particular store also doesn’t smell of their cologne as bad as others, which was refreshing to say the least. I hate the smell of their cologne, it makes my sinuses angry. And about them not hiring minorities, I have to disagree with that. I always see hispanics and african americans working there, in fact, there are more minorities than whites working there.

This A&F is one of the worst!(Not that any are really good — too bad the clothes look good) I went in with my boyfriend because he was looking for a pair of shorts in size 36. He has been to multiple stores and we had been checking online for him. They were nowhere to be found. We were going to see a movie here and had 20 minutes to kill so we wandered into this store. It was our lucky day! They had them in his size! Earlier that week I had received an e-blast from them with a 25% off items code for in store and online. We went up to the register to pay and the sales associate said we could not use that coupon at this store because it is a tourist attraction. WHAT!?! First off it did not say on the coupon which stores it could be used at or anything! Second of all, you are in LOSANGELES, which store isn’t a tourist attraction!?! Needless to say we didn’t buy the shorts. Who pays $ 60 for shorts, it’s called a recession. MAKETHESALE!

I think it’s the smell that entices me. Not to say I’m a fan of their perfume but it’s just so invasive and I can literally smell the store a mile away — sort of like In-N-Out. That smell just registers in my brain and gets me in the mood to go in. Anywaysssss, as for this store: I was greeted warmly by a girl upon entering the store. One of the employees checked up on me constantly, to make sure I was okay and didn’t need anything. So, all in all, good service. In January, they have amazing sales. Since it’s now March, they didn’t have any spectacular sales. A bit over-priced but damn cute stuff! I love this store’s style. If I was a dude, I probably wouldn’t shop here but the girl’s section is fabulous. Almost every single pair of my favorite jeans are A & F.

WHACK! Not to mention that you have to be skinnier than a toothpick to fit in any of these clothes!

Do not shop at this company’s store. This company discriminates against minorities in hiring. They have been sued by employees and EEOC. In fact, the paid $ 50 million to settle because they knew they would be found guilty by a jury.
