Combining a step-​by-​step painting class along with music, beer or wine, Scene Art Bar is a form of social-​tainment where you can laugh, socialize and learn something new.

Perfect for a girls’ night out, couples outing, mom’s night off, a bachelorette party, or a date. Classes are held at our studio in Unionville and our bar will be stocked with wine, beer, beverages, and a selection of snacks for your enjoyment.

Event Venue Rental:

The Scene Art Bar event venue is a unique and distinct environment for your next event. Located in the heart of the Unionville section of Farmington, CT in a building built circa 1860, our venue has exposed brick walls, high ceilings, large windows and a unique and welcoming design. With seating for 48, standing room for 90, a comfortable lounge area and beer & wine bar, Scene Art Bar is the perfect backdrop for your next event whether it be a cocktail party, networking event or other social gathering.

Kidz Art Scene:

A little paint, a little music and a whole lotta fun turns the ordinary birthday party into a very special day. Parties include all of the art supplies needed to create the painting chosen from our art library and a class led by an art instructor and an instructor assistant, who are experienced in teaching children.

History

Established in 2015.

Scene Art Bar is locally co-​owned and operated by two Connecticut natives and Farmington Valley residents with a 20 plus year friendship. They fell in love with the social painting revolution that is sweeping the country and decided they had to bring it to their neighborhood to share with the local community.

Unionville Artisan Galleries

They knew they found their home when they first stepped foot in the circa 1860 historic ball bearing mill in Unionville Center. High ceilings, brick walls, beautiful windows and the chance to to be part of history — to make something old new again — what could be a better spot to tap into creativity and find your inner artist.

The co-​owners wish is to spread the joy of art and add value to the community. Their hope is to provide everyone that passes through the doors a fun and relaxing experience and to leave with a smile and sense of accomplishment.
