I was visiting there a year ago and didn’t book ahead on a weekend the whole world was in town. Miraculously, they fit me in. I was quite happy with my room. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of channels to choose from. The room was very clean. I liked the kitchenette area. It was also quiet, so I was able to get a lot of work done and sleep well. As far as food goes, the«make your own waffle» setup was a fun surprise in the morning. Sheetz is also right next door, so there’s plenty of selection there. No doubt, if I’m in town again, this is where I’m staying. Oh yeah, they’re super friendly!

I was in town for the weekend with my mother and aunt for a wedding, and since all the other hotels in Uniontown were fully booked, we took a room at the Super 8. Let me preface this by saying that we are generally accustomed to staying in 4 or 5 star hotels, but we decided to be open-minded since we’d only be staying for a night. To start, we called in advance to see if we could check in two hours early. This was a bit of a fight, but the staff was very kind and ultimately we were able to check in at noon, two hours before the 2:00 check-in. HOWEVER, despite our optimism, this place was hands-down disgusting. We entered room 308 and were unpleasantly surprised by the foul, musty odor of cigarette smoke. We were able to open the window for ventilation, but the screen was ripped, so that was… comforting? Oh and since we had to sleep with the window open to keep the smell at bay, I woke up with a sore throat and a runny nose. The beds were utterly unbearable. The mattresses were, for all intents and purposes, nonexistent. For two double beds, they only provided four pillows, which I thought was quite odd. We called the Front Desk asking for more pillows, but they never brought them to the room. Perhaps the worst thing about the room was the mini-fridge. Sounds like a perk, right? Wrong. The refrigerator was dripping water onto the carpet, and the shelf it sat on was moist and covered in mold. Frankly, I was appalled by this, but being that it was our only option in Uniontown, we dealt with it. So, you may ask: was there anything good about the room? The bathroom was actually quite clean, but of course this came along with the fact that we only had two towels that were roughly as thick as a cloth napkin. The hair dryer in the room was literally melted. Hello fire hazard. Oh and also, they did have pretty fantastic free WiFi. I think this was the only legitimately good thing about our stay. The continental breakfast was mediocre at best. My bagel was good, but the coffee and juice came out of a machine, which always sketches me out. Other slightly unrelated positive thing. Fiesta Azteca next door has pretty good margaritas. The price that we had to pay for this room is actually painful to think about considering how disgusting our experience was. Honestly, it would be more worthwhile to go 20 miles out of your way to stay elsewhere or to just pitch a tent in a field somewhere. That actually might have been better.

They had no rooms with 2 beds… and my room had 2 tvs? retarded. All in all place is nice, clean and affordable. Bed was large, had to get extra rooms though…
