We ordered and then watched as everyone arriving after us got their meals — mainly breakfast orders — we order a hamburger(lunch) and the classic breakfast(breakfast) so don’t confuse the system It was really good breakfast BUT I didn’t realize they forgot my bacon — and now I’m really craving bacon — but the took $ 1.50 off my bill(I think if it was me I would have taken the price of the meal off) but people gotta make money. I guess — I didn’t get what I ordered — although it was good hash browns had a couple bad spots and the silverware was still wet — the over medium eggs where almost over easy The marble rye toast was excellent 2nd visit today I’ve come to realize the service is bad at Hometown Charlie’s after today’s visit — first we arrived and saw a table for four leaving in this very limited seating establishment and you seat your self here as we waited a waitress came a smart quip about us sitting at a dirty table. I was not really sure what it was but something like why we didn’t wait for them to clean table or something– not sure but I was ticked off about it. Waited maybe 20 minutes — table was cleaned off and wiped, were then asked about our drinks — the coffee is SUPER. We were told the a new pot is brewing While we sat and drank 2−½ cups out of 4 cups ordered I notice another waitress passing a stack of menus– I motioned for menus — she frowned I think because she was disappointed we hadn’t already had menus and silverware and napkins. We sat waiting to give our orders and another waitress asked if we were ready to order maybe 10 minutes after the menus — «Yes!» I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to order. A Bagel breakfast and 3 orders were classic breakfast same as I ordered previously– making sure we didn’t order Lunch — I was pretty sure that slowed down our order previously Well I don’t know what it is but I watched as a man with 2 canes and his wife walked in sat down — now believe me when I say he walked very slowly. They sat down ordered their breakfast and was served and finished eating BEFORE our order arrived — I actually saw the man with 2 canes leaving his table — I thought he was leaving but just a visit to the restroom– I was growing angry Orders came out of the kitchen after every one who arrived after us was fully served and taken care of — the man w/2 canes and his wife were sitting drinking coffee by this time — The food was good but if it was the kitchen’s problem for our food being late — it should have been much Hotter — it was warmish on the hot side It probably was ready and just sat in the kitchen — I made sure I had my bacon this time — but they had 2 others to compare to. So my conclusion is next time I come because I have a craving for their coffee — Just Order A Slice of Pie or BYOB(bring your own breakfast) Actually I think I’m skipping Hometown Charlies

We arrived at Hometown Charley’s on a Sunday morning along with everyone else! Coffee never went empty while we waited for our food, but we did wait. My husband loved the coke from Mexico and raved about the sausage patties. My eggs were piping hot and nice and fresh. New owner has cleaned the restaurant from top to bottom & it feels bright and welcoming. Owner comped our meal due to the wait!

Good food for the price. No frills and a simple menu make it a good quick breakfast stop. The waitresses were all very friendly. Fresh paint, new carpet and new tables and chairs are a nice touch.

This restaurant is located just off the square of Uniontown. It has a very reasonable priced menu with excellent service. Food is very good. Well with the trip if your heading in the area.

Open for breakfast and lunch, Hometown Charley’s fills the location of the former Bennett’s Diner. Rob(of Scoops fame) brings a menu of better-than-normal diner fare. Closed Mondays. For great breakfast from a locally-owned restaurant, give Hometown Charley’s a spin.
