History

Established in 1991.

Following graduation, Dr. Cefalu joined the practice of Dr. Lewis Gunn and his son, Dr. Andy Gunn, in Barberton. That practice, the oldest in Summit county, traces back to the 1920s. In 1991, the newly-​named «Eye Tech» practice evolved and expanded to Green, and continues the tradition of earning the trust and loyalty of our multi-​generational patient base.

Eye Tech of Green moved to its present location in 2001, and Dr. Kaster joined Eye Tech of Green in August of 2005.

Meet the Business Owner

Carl T. Cefalu, O. D.

Business Owner

Dr. Cefalu received his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University and continued on to graduate from The College of Optometry in 1986. Following graduation, he joined the practice of Dr. Lewis Gunn and his son, Dr. Andy Gunn, in Barberton. In 1991, Eye-​Tech of Green was founded and moved to its present location in 2001.

Dr. Cefalu has been an active volunteer in the Green community as well as having coached youth basketball, soccer, and baseball.
