Looked at some of the old reviews and disagree with them. I got the«Italian stallion» and their advertisement of overstuffed sandwiches is driven home by the product received. For 8.95 $ the meat was legit falling out of the grinder roll. It could have easily fed 3 people for a solid meal. Staff was accommodating and friendly and feels like a true Italian deli especially with the little old lady Italian behind the counter. Will be returning to this establishment tomorrow!

Monday night what to have for dinner. So I decided to go with the $ 39.95 dinner that feeds 4 – 6 ppl! The Penne a la Vodka was my choice. WOW — WOW! I got what felt like a 2 pound tray of freshly made pasta, a tray of salad and a loaf of Italian bread! 3 adults ate and it doesn’t even look like we put a dent in the pasta!!! This place is # 1 in my book!!! I can’t wait to try their meatballs! Keep up the good work. BTW the owners and staff are very friendly

I went there over the summer for a quick bite. Their macaroni salad was to die for and the service was very pleasant!

By far one of the best Deli’s in the area. Friendly staff and excellent food. I decided to try their penne vodka and it was out of this world. Everything ranging from hot Italian dishes to fresh cold cuts… this place gets 5 stars from me. Highly recommended!

This place sucks, got the shits from tortillini salad from them. One taste was enough to keep my ass glued to the bowl for more time than it took to create the earth. Asked my co worker to taste it and she spit it all over the floor, i will never eat at this tomain place ever again. This wes the best deli around till new no nothing bought it. Im telling everyone in union about this ass wipeing experience to never eat anything from this tomain place…

Most addicting chicken cutlet sandwich ever! I only get subs from here, I work in the same complex and they are very convenient for me. The prices are fine you get a half sub, small salad on the side and a bag a chips that will fill you up. The new additions are good as well like the fries cheese steaks and wings. I really enjoy Napoli

I stopped by here since sub shop was closed. I ordered a whole roast beef and Swiss with everything on it. When I got home I couldn’t believe the size of it. For $ 10.00 its a rip off. I called and the excuse I heard was their rent is so high! I guess you shouldn’t run a business like that. I don’t even think there is 4Oz of meat on it! If I show my hubby how much I spent he would hit the roof! I will never go back! I’ll stick to the sub shop down the street!!! I miss the old Napoli Italian Deli!!!

The name is the same but the prices are significantly higher and the quality is way down compared to how it was under the previous owners.

The food here is really good and fresh. I usually get the sandwiches which I love… My only complaint would be this – if I pay $ 10 for a sandwich I expect a $ 10 sandwich. Sandwiches need to be consistent. I miss the old Napoli

First time I went here. Unilocal had 4 stars the pictures looked good. I was in the area and wanted a good gourmet sub, so decided to head this way. I had #31, chk cutlet with capiola, mozzarella, roasted peppers. Firstly, what kind of Deli shop had no bread? The guy making the sandwiches after making bf’s sandwich comes up to me and said, «we don’t have bread, oh wait let me ask the owner of I can give you baguette«. I was in shock! My boyfriend had a turkey and cheese. We bought 2 drinks and a small antipasti. We also paid for a potato croquet, that we did not get. Bill turned out to be $ 40, they did not put lettuce, tomato or onion in my sandwich as listed on the menu. The people that work there were staring us down, service was not up to par. It is a fake gourmet Italian deli. Save your money, not worth it. Their antipasti doesn’t even look legit.

The new owner is a nice guy but… they don’t know how to make a good stromboli. Granted that’s all I’ve had from there but still it’s not rocket science. The old owner made a fantastic overstuffed, enjoy-every-bite, lick your fingers stromboli. The price may be cheaper for the Napoli boli but it’s not nearly as satisfying. Also, when did ordering a whole boli warrant $ 4 extra dollars if the half is $ 5? There wasn’t $ 4 more of filling. If anything it was thinner and less filled. I haven’t tried the sandwiches there and don’t really plan to. Pastosa Ravioli on South St in Cranford is unreal. Been there quite a few times and there is no comparison between them and Napoli. This place is definitely not for me and there are an abundant number of alternatives.

Not sure if this place has a new owner but the place went down hill. The new people that work there are very rude. The sandwich that I ordered tasted slimy and the bread was stale. Will not be going back.

Best chicken cutlet sandwich I’ve had in NJ. The bread is wonderful. They bring it in from Staten Island daily. Since they’ve reopened, they have added more dishes and pasta for lunch. This is by far the best Italian deli I’ve been to outside of NYC.

After working in Kenilworth for about 4 years, I finally went here. There are quite a few options and I went for the chicken parm ½ sub. The servings are fairly generous and I enjoyed the taste. My coworker got the meatball parm and I actually liked that more. It’s a very nice touch when the parm subs are served with fresh mozz. I will definitely be back to try some of their other options. It is extremely small inside, with about 3 tables. I would recommend getting your order to go.

Finally found a good deli place! I ordered a meatball sub, they use fresh mozz cheese and marinara sauce. The meatballs were very tasty and huge! Deff coming back, just wish they also made pasta lunch specials and not just for catering. Very Italian place.

Quality food that tastes good! –Turkey Sub: LOADED with boar’s head turkey –Chicken Cutlet: Probably their tastiest sub(But nowhere near the godliness of Il Giacalone’s in Livingston) –Sausage/Broccoli Brioche Stromboli: Loaded with the two quality ingredients, to die for. –Grilled Chicken Strawberry Salad: So much chicken, very little strawberries I definitely recommend the turkey or chicken cutlet sandwich, and to add broccoli rabe and fresh mozzarella for $ 2.50 total. Pricing is around $ 8 for half and $ 10 for whole sub. Don’t be fooled, their whole sub is only about 10⁄8 times the size of the half sub. .

This is a Deli. It’s a bit of a hike from my job with traffic so I normally can not make it there and back in my lunch time, but I always order our holiday party catering from here.(PEOPLEFORANIMALS if you guys see this) I grew up around authentic Italian deli’s and this is right up there. Olive bar that I don’t eat prosciutto hanging from the ceiling and house made fresh mozzarella remind me of childhood. Manhattan specials!(either you know about them or you don’t)

These sammiches may be a little pricey, but they’re outstanding!(Be careful what size you order; a «half sub» feeds two people, and their crusty rustic«small rolls» aren’t small at all.) The friendly, fast paced staff always piles on the goods– If you’re hungry and are craving an authentic Italian fix, treat yourself to the incredible value of a hearty Napoli lunch. (Ps– if your’e a fan of olives you may need a small container of those as well; they have the best you can get around here. And, look around while you’re waiting. Napoli has all kinds of fancy imported cheeses and other goods.) I adore this place…

The Napoli Deli, in the Five Points shopping center, was rebuilt two years ago after a devastating fire. This is one of the best Italian delis in the area. They do a brisk takeout business, especially around lunch time. Daily selections include delicious hot entrees, homemade strombolis, paninis, individual pizzas, and sandwiches to order. Their homemade sausages are a specialty. Homemade salads include scungilli, tortellini with artichokes, grilled chicken with sundried tomatoes, canneloni bean with asparagus, fusilli primvavera, and many others. A good selection of imported products line the shelves, including San Marzano tomatoes and artisan pastas from Italy. They also have a very large variety of locally-made frozen ravioli, as well as the full line of excellent Ciao Bella gelatos.
