Max Buffet

No longer in service. I believe it is named China Pagoda now

Food is decent but I’ve had much better. Nice mix of Asian and American food. I’ve ate there several times and was able to enjoy myself.

I got terribly sick from eating here and called the Union, NJ health inspector. He was very friendly and helpful and checked up on it — and did find that some of the food was being cooked at a lower temperature than it should have been.
I didnt get lab-​work done (mostly because i’m not one of those pussies who go to the hospital for every little thing) nor did i seek a lawsuit or anything because I’m not that type of system abuser.
I also cannot prove that it was Max Buffet that got me sick. However, the mushrooms I ate tasted and smelled un-​fresh (i obviously didnt eat them fully) and I also had some sushi… thinking back, that’s a terrible mistake, hehe. But, i’ve had great sushi at buffets without much issue, before.
Anyway, I will never eat here again, even if it wasnt their fault — the food itself was of poor to terrible quality when i went. Yuck!
