We hired Joel to photograph our daughter’s wedding, and in the end, we have three exquisite books: the engagement, wedding, and after the wedding! Each book is a work of art. I got to see a beautiful perspective of all the events through these beautiful books.
There were so many perfect pictures, it was impossible for us to decide, so Joel put everything together. The wedding album is very much a storybook of the most beautiful photographs.

Joel collaborated with us on a family portrait of our Mom with her four children. He met us at a location that was most convenient to our family. He was very professional and came to the photo shoot extremely well prepared. He took a lot of photographs along with offering his professional advice throughout the photo shoot.
Subsequently, we met with him again to view a completed slide show of the family photographs. We chose the photo that we liked best to be our official family portrait.
The final product came out beautifully. It was a lovely portrait which had a beautiful frame around it. It is truly a keepsake and a wonderful legacy for our family. We all truly enjoyed the experience of having Joel as our official family photographer. I give my heartfelt and sincere thanks and appreciation to Joel for a job well done.

We found Joel through a friend, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice for a wedding photographer! As a «mature» couple, we wanted something simple, but wanted a professional behind the lens to capture the magic of the day (and of course to look as good as we possibly could :)
Joel made us feel at ease, and i definitely recommend the «engagement» photo shoot to get comfortable with his style, to make your big day much more comfortable. We used those shots for our guest registry book, and all our guests loved signing it.
On the day of the wedding he was calm, professional and interacted so well with our guests that i wasn’t sure if he we hired him or adopted him! He was never pushy or in our face; he did exactly what he said he would do and the work speaks for itself.
Our photos and our album are something that we treasure — it was a wonderful experience and i definitely recommend Joel.

Joel is the best photographer in the world as far as Kevin and I are concerned. We were blessed to have him as our wedding photographer in our civil ceremony and our church ceremony. Every single pic that Joel takes is a «true work of art.» Joel captures «emotion» with every pic that he takes. He also is so easy to work with and made our civil ceremony and church ceremony a truly fun and extraordinary experience. Kevin and I were deeply moved beyond belief with all our wedding pics and slideshows that he presented at both receptions.
Joel was also kind enough to work within our budget at a difficult time. Kevin and I feel extremely fortunate to have Joel as our wedding photographer and I give Joel «ten plus.» He is an amazing individual that has a God given talent. Thanks for giving us our lifetime memories Joel!

My Sister-​in-​law and I hired Joel to do a portrait of our kids as an anniversary present for my in-​laws. He was quick and wonderful to work with. Not only did the pictures come out beautifully, but when we told him it was so hard to choose, he put together a composite of our favorites; a beautiful blend of posed shots and captured candid moments, even after the «official shoot» was over. I cannot say enough good things about Joel and his work! He even worked with our budget to help pick the best print options.
We gave the gift to my in-​laws finally yesterday and they were blown away. I highly highly recommend Joel Simpson photography and will absolutely use him again!
