The food was amazing and I’ll definitely go back! My waitress was very nice and allowed me a free appetizers because it was my first time being there. The only issue is their alcohol is ridiculously expensive. 2 glasses of angry orchard costed $ 12!

Four of us ate here at noon on a Monday. We were the only table in the place and service was slow. The server was new and didn’t know many answers to our questions and stated that she just finished training but she goes to «brew school» training next week. They were out of the first two beers I tried to order. Burgers were good, not great and a little pricey for just good burgers. 6.50 for a local draught beer is pricey as well, imo. In total for 4 burgers and fries and 8 beers our tab was $ 90, add $ 13 for tip we spent $ 103. Price alone is why I won’t be back.

Dropped in for lunch ordered a flipdaddy burger… I expected more… Food was like a 3 star … Service pretty slow also, but courteous staff. Price was fair $ 10.59 all in for burger plate w greasy fries. Maybe i was expecting too much? Definitely nothing special in terms of burger… might be better as a bar or for dinner… I won’t be back! Like i said nothing special and food 3 star…

Grease is the word. Fish sandwich is served on greasy, butter grilled pretzel bun. Detracts from fish flavor. Hot fish is placed on top of what was once cool, crisp lettuce – now shredded to soak up the heat and fat. You could wring the butter out of the bun. Tartar sauce is watery but has decent flavor. Haven’t the owners ever had Frisch’s TS? My homemade would beat both by a mile! Onion rings for $ 2 upcharge? 4 greasy, overcoated 1 ½ inch high rings. Too much grease everywhere. Thank God I didn’t get the fries – they are seasoned and flabby, flaccid slivers. Expensive beers and wines(best things we had at lunch). I think I’ve had w/FD’s. The service was nice, but the food sucked. We dined last Saturday and there were no more than 10 people in the place. I had a bite of my husband’s burger because he wondered about the meat. Their proprietary mix is not very tasty. We live very close but we have no reason to visit again. I reviewed FDs previously and I got a comment from Bob, an owner, who cites his sources but doesn’t excuse the food itself, nor the poor behavior from the yakkety staff behind us. I called and complained to the mgr, who acknowledged my complaint w/a small GC to use. Very smart. but still food is NOT what Bob believes it is. Maybe that’s why there were only 10 people there on Sat.

3pm on a Saturday it was super slow and there was food all over the floor and glass wear not picked up. Most of the waiters were definitely not busy as they were chatting with each other. My burger was ordered medium rare and it came out medium to well done.

The couple of times I’ve eaten here I’ve had pleasant experiences. The staff is always really professional and attentive. They have a great selection of beers on tap and awesome, unique burgers! Every month they have a «featured» burger and it’s usually something really different and you order it out of curiosity. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and a nice bar area. If you’re craving a burger I’d try this place! And even if you aren’t craving a burger they have other options.

Went to flip daddy’s with some friends. This is THE place to go if you want a burger. At the time we went, we were given a beer glass for every $ 20 we spent. The glasses are cool and my kids always want to drink from them. This place has every type of burger you could ever imagine. I cant wait to go back to Northern Kentucky again so we can swing by this place.

Average food at best. Took a chance on the recommendation of some locals and it didn’t measure up. Had the Blackened Bayou burger and upgraded the side to beer batter onion rings. Food arrived about three minutes after ordering, what does that tell you? Obviously not blackened and the onions rings were lukewarm and like cardboard, no crispness at all. Supposed to have Havarti cheese on the burger(and I love Havarti), the two bites that had cheese were totally non-descript. Employee shirts say«brilliant burgers, craft beer bar, cool vibe»… they did have craft beer but I don’t drink beer. Go for the beer if you like but don’t expect much from the food. Got a $ 5 burger and paid $ 11.49 for it. Obviously, I won’t be back. Wonder if there’s a Five Guys close by. At least I’ll get what I pay for.

Everyone I know likes this place. I don’t. The first time that I went my Cuban sandwich’s lunch meat had been sliced along with the plastic wrapping. So strips of plastic were throughout. Other times I have found the food to be simply mediocre and a little over priced for what you get.

Rarely do I give 5 stars to any local eateries however in the case of flipdaddy’s I’ll make an exception. By far they have the best craft beer selection anywhere in the region. The bartenders are knowledgeable friendly and willing to hand out endless samples Start off with the pretzels and beer cheese again there are no equals in the area for the main course don’t hesitate to try a taco salad with the delicious Chipotle style dressing nor will you go wrong with any of their hamburgers Of special note is the high quality super flavorful pretzel bun used on several of their selections. By far the most outstanding feature of this restaurant is the service, and professional attitude of the servers and bartenders you can’t go wrong go in the flipdaddy’s give it a try

Wow. We had high hopes for this place based on other reviews and the menu. It was crowded because it was trivia night, but we put our name in for a party of 7 with a supposed 30 minute wait. 45 minutes later I had to go ask about our status. They promptly found a large booth and put a chair at the end. It was fine. The food was subpar. We ordered burgers and salads. The salads(three different types) had too many core and stem pieces, and were generally sparse and uninteresting. The burgers were fair, quite greasy and the mac and cheese burgers had a strange taste. Overall there was not enough food on the plates for the cost of each meal. The server was very good, prompt, attentive but not intrusive. Wouldn’t recommend and will not return.

Had a late lunch here yesterday. Burger and fries were great as was the quesadilla. Waitress(Racheal) left room to improve. I’ll visit again. Nice atmosphere and the girls behind the bar were quick to take care of the customers.

Fish tacos are in my opinion the best around. The stuffed mushrooms are also great. The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious. The reason for the 3 stars is, we have been here at least 6 or more times since it was opened. More often than not the beer I order(which is advertised on the menu) they are out of. This time it was even more frustrating. October is advertised as Braxton Brewery month. The beer I wanted to order(Dead Blow) from Braxton Brewery was not available.

Good service at the bar. Nice selection of beers on tap. Burgers are good. Quality. The environment can get loud on a Friday night so it may not be the spot for a family or a date night unless you enjoy the bar scene and then… It’s not really a bar.

Oh my gosh! Found this gem off of Unilocal, and boy am I glad I did! Hubby had a cheeseburger with fries. Sneaked a taste of both and they were awesome. I had the Chuck Norris Turkey Panini with their homemade chips. Wow! The CNT is green chili’s with provolone & sauce. It definitely had a kick! So good! They need this restaurant in Texas! We’ll surely be back in our future trips to KY.

Had a really nice experience here for #CincinnatiBurgerWeek. Came with my mom, wife and 2 sons. No trouble parking or getting a seat on a Saturday evening — but not that it wasn’t busy. There’s just a lot of seating! The service we had was wonderful, which is saying something for a busy weekend and $ 5 burgers. Also, I couldn’t believe, but the $ 5 deal was good with a side dish — fries or saratoga chips. We ordered both, both were excellent. I got the Chuck Norris, which was more than your average«spicy» burger that comes with some jalapeño cheese. This had the cheese, a green sauce, and an awesome spicy mayo on top, with actual cut jalapenos in the burger. It was messy, spicy, and fantastic! Went down great with a Madtree Psychopathy(which the beer on tap is the other big plus of trying this place out). Normally, the burger was $ 10.99, I think. Which, is a little pricey for a burger, but I would be back here. As I mentioned, the service was great — friendly, prompt, good recommendations. The manager was on top of it as well. The booth was great for little kids — lots of space and you’re not cramped in with the other diners. Lots of TVs, so kids’ noise is not that bothersome. Had a really good experience and will return.

My family and I decided to try out Flipdaddy’s for lunch one Sunday. We were seated promptly and the service was good. The food was good, I got the bean me up scotty veggie burger. It was tasty, but I had to pay extra for a side salad instead of fries. The only decent veggie options were salad or asparagus. Where are the mixed veggies? Any side besides fries or chips is an upcharge. My husband got the sunny side up burger I believe it was, and mac & cheese. He said it was good. Kids meals are all $ 7, which is a bit steep for a kids meal. They do include a drink and kids ice cream though. My kids got mac & cheese and cheeseburgers. It looked pretty good and they ate it. The food was good, but overpriced. 2 adults and two kids were $ 50 with tip for lunch. That was with ordering water to drink. Add a soda or beer and you are looking at even more.

So delicious! The burger was cooked to perfection and their specialty relish and chipotle mayo were amazing!
